Review 1:I did not like the cable therewas hardly any channel to see well I think he was cheap for not putting good channels

Review 5:That the hotel made an error in our reservation and there was no room available when we tried to check in. We were directed to a sister property.
Review 6:The staff made every effort to get us a room. After checking out the other property and returning to the horizon view there was a cancellation and we were able to stay.
Review 7:The hotel entrance was not very inviting could do with brightening up. Phillipsburgh died after the Cruise ships left with only 6 or 7 restaurants open and most closing by 9.30 pm. Marigot is not a place I would visit again as it is frightening after being mugged.
Review 8:The facilities were excellent we were upgraded to a delux apartment overlooking the beach from the bedroom and lounge. The apartment was huge considering with a kitchen and dining area. The staff were always prepared to help if it was need. Overall we found it better than we expected after reading some review.

Review 10:The hotel is clean and greatly situated. The manager is very friendly. We enjoyed the possibility to shop in St. Maarten. The view was also very beautiful.
Review 11:I did not like the maid service offered at the hotel, in particular the cleaning. I also think that the desk is left unmanned when there should always be somebody at the desk. While i was out I was told that there was no calls to my room but when i arrived to the room there were messages and my guests did not know which roomed I stayed.
Review 12:Hotel begins one flight up. Very small elevator. Lacks hotel services like restaurant or bar. No lobby.
Review 13:Right on the beach in the center of town. Clean, useful kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price. Ocean-view rooms have dynamite view. I would stay there again.
Review 14:Don't be put off by reception area which is a bit dated and not at all like modern rooms. Not the fault of the hotel but close to cruise port so when 4+ huge cruise ships dock almost every day it is very busy right in middle diamond and jewellery centre. That said the hawkers seem to know who is on cruise ships and left us alone.
Review 15:Great location just a few steps to great bay. Rooms were modern and pristine clean, bed huge and comfy, towels and chairs available on the beach. We had side room so not expecting sea view but we could still see the sea front from our balcony. Manager was helpful and friendly, tea and coffee in reception and serviceable lift to all floors. Drop off at door and believe parking available at extra cost but we parked a short walk away for free

Review 18:The hotel is literally located in a sketchy strip mall. It is so weird you have to walk up these stairs to get to the "reception" which is a 1960s looking completely outdated and very odd desk area. The hotel has zero amenities (no pool, gym, restaurant, valet, spa etc). For $240 per night I would highly recommend staying next door at the holland house hotel - for the same price! Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and bar.

Review 20:The hotel is advertising different rates via booking.com while applying other rates upon arrival. Make sure to bring a copy of your booking! The manager was very friendly and changed the rate to the rate as booked via booking.com.

After visiting the crowded beaches on the French side, we were even more pleased with the serene spacious beach outside our window at his hotel. It was extremely convenient to everything that we needed and the staff did an excellent job of taking care of us. We would stay there again...
Review 37:we paid more for this hotel then we did for the Hilton in Miami. the view was the roof of the building infront. breakfast was a cup of coffee in a plastic cup and a bread. there is no real enterance in to the hotel its down a corridor and one floor up in the smallest lift I have ever seen. Not very nice when you arrive at night. the wifi in the room did not work. it worked in the reception but only if you stood on a certain spot. I could go on and on about this hotel.

Review 39:Given the wrong room type for the first 2 nights, hence why we were moved to the Holland House. We then went to the hotel for the 3rd night, however the room was in a very poor state, nothing like the pictures. Shower was a trickle, bare lightbulbs, kitchenette basic, broken plugs. Did not stay another night.

Review 41:We experienced, for the first time in 45 yeas traveling and using a lots of hotel that the properties requested double, twice, the payment of the hotel. Once via electronic, and once by tripping the card, old fashion. At the end of the stay we requested to surrender us the stripped portion in their possession, as long as via electronic they received the authorization but they refused saying that they use to do in this way to be secure of the payment!!!!!!!!!!!!, because they do not trust the customers.!!!!!! Photocopies of these documents are available on request.
