Review 1：We enjoyed staying at Baan place. We got nice room with air con, bathroom and all the tips needed. If someone needs to work from that place and needs a good internet, then dont worry, its a good place to work from common area and enjoy the balinese style guesthouse.
Review 2：My room and share bathroom was not clean. During stay (3 nights) noone cleaned share bathroom. Our room was connected with a share bathroom, and when someone use toilet or shower, we heard everything (also during night), it was not comfortable. Many things in the house did not work and required repairs, for example: air-condition remote controller at our room and toilet flush at share bathroom. In our room were a lot of spiders webs and dust, floor and walls were not clean. Not value for money. Beach near guest house not very interesting. I thing better place to stay is Batu Ferringi with nice beatches and short distance to National Park, or Georgetown, close to other attracions.

Review 15：We were running late to check-in and the staffs kept calling us more than 5x to ask when we will check-in. The room was dilapidated with wires jutting from the bed, stained bedsheets, loud noisy helicopter fan that feels like falling off, broken toilet hose and leaking all over the floor, etc. When we told the staff there was no reply entire 2 days. Dont bother staying there

Review 25：We asked for private bathroom, and thy gave me attached bathroom with another room, where in the middle of the night, whn i wana go toilet, my side door was locked frm inside, i cant able to go toilet, whn i message and call the owner, no response at all. He didnt reply my messsage or even call me Back. No dressing table, no tv, no shower toiletries such as shower gel and bath gel. No proper sleep, the bed is very old, till i can feel the spring. The next day my body was aching and it spoil my day.

But cleanliness and some of the things need to be take note where hotel owner need to make sure the cleanliness and upgrade for some wardrobe to be put it at the room. Entrance to the room which i book is quick dangerous cause the access have to cross over to a small little lake. hotel owner have o make sure that the cockroaches need to be taking necessary action on it

Review 37：This is our 2nd time staying here. Fantastic value for the money. This hotel offers a great location in terms of access to the beach and in between gurney and batu ferringhi while at the same time being quiet enough as to not be disturbed at night. Modern facilities and free wifi.
Review 38：There is nothing close by, everything is a walk away. The only nice thing close by is the beach. There is a food quarter which sells good food and a Tesco but it quite far away. The bus is also quite far to walk especially if you have heavy luggage.

Common areas were large and comfortable, and while there was no breakfast provided, they had a kitchen to make our own snacks and drinks at any time we want. We loved our stay and this is the best place for budget traveler in penang.

Toilets: The toilet is very dirty & leaking and the whole floor just flooded each time some1 use the toilet bowl. The bathtub is spoilt & just there for show. Wardrobe: The walk-in wardrobe's floor tiles are peeling, making it dangerous to walk. Wife: The wifi signal is so bad. Location/Price: Location of the hse is so not ideal. Taxi drivers dont really noe the road. Price was too high for all these probs. Overall, a bad experience for all of us though its only a 1 day stay.

The staff was so kind to spend some time sharing with us the places of interest although he was busy setting up the place. They just moved over to this hotel.
