Review 1：The imagines on the site didn't relate to the actual accommodation. Mattresses were a bad quality very uncomfortable nights sleep. Generally a very run down apartment. We asked for a refund as we had to find another accommodation - the owner refused sadly. We work in the travel business and host many events and we won't be recommending this accommodation to anyone - Hemsedal Cafe was fantastic - great staff, great value and high standard - Hemsedal is a fantastic place to visit but avoid this accommodation in my humble opinion as there are far better places to stay in the area.

Review 3：The habit in Norway of almost doubling the price of the stay by requiring the rental of sheets and towels, and charging a cleaning fee. This is rarely detailed in booking.com's hotel small print.
Review 4：Requested apartment for 3, received one for 6-7 people. Place was very liveable, wooden walls throughout, arches, open fire, sauna (!), really a very authentic experience. It was our last night driving around Norway, staying in many places and we enjoyed this one the most.

Review 9：It gave a great mountain cabin atmosphere, and lots of amenities, including the sauna!! We didn't even get to use them all unfortunately, our visit was too short!

It is at the end of the village, the last speed bump is in the front of building and every vehicle accelerate right in front of the apartment which is very disturbing due to the thin walls and single glass windows. You can hear everything from the other apartments and the party from the club as well.

Review 36：Well, the kitchen was a bit undersupplied, plus every single knife was dull and there was no sharpener. No oven mitts. The dishwasher bottom tray was missing half its wheels. Some apartments are over a bar, on one or two nights I had problem with noise. Also, the reception was rarely managed, I only saw them when I checked in. It also is a bit far from the ski area: you need to take the bus.

Review 38：Sheets and towels were not included in the price and had to be rented for a modest price. As I checked in late, I couldn't rent sheets and towels until the next day. Try drying off after a shower with TP!
Review 39：The price was very good; the apartment was relatively clean (the rule is that you clean yourself before leaving so who knows how clean it really was); there was a lot of room; it was convenient to the grocery store directly across the street, and to the bus stop that was a 3 minute walk (bus to Gol or back and forth to skiing). I would certainly go back again - it is exactly what I paid for and what I expected.
Review 40：The extra charges we had not been made aware of before arriving were a bit annoying. Plus it was a bit of a pain to not have access to linen or towels on our first night. No microwave which would have been useful.

Eventually I found a key in a night box outside the office, but the room had no towels or sheets. The following morning there was still no one at reception. I received a text the following day asking why I hadn't arrived, eventhough I paid for my room in the gift shop listed in the reception window.

While contact with someone from the hotel via sms and telephone was sufficient to find our key and apartment, I would have preferred to have someone available at the reception during check-in and check-out. Also because of the low season the restaurant on the premises was closed during our stay.
Review 48：Hemsetunet Apartments has nice and spacious accommodations for a reasonable price. While the interior is pretty basic it has all you need for a pleasant stay.

We could not pay, they used the credit card information had to enter to make the reservation.- the appartment was very dirty and out dated. - kitchen good equipment (only 1 knife for example) - the view is ugly on all sides; gass station, or walls of building.

Review 52：Very well located for a stop on the road from Oslo to Bergen. Landlord very nice, all transactions were done by email & text messages on cell phone, very easy to contact. Appartment is lovely and wide. Very easy to park the car, and main road not busy at night, so very silent.
