Review 1：The hotel has an excellent location in front of the beach and boardwalk with plenty bars and restaurants around and if you like shopping its all there. The staff was all nice and friendly.I would definitely come back!
Review 2：We booked a Queen room with a double bed. We were given a standard room with twin beds and an unpleasant smell and sadly no sea view.

Review 6：The rooms are way too small. The double room is set the way, that the shower/toilet door can not be opened fully. The only way to make your stay easier - move two beds together and all the way to the wall. no entertainment, nothing to do in the neighborhood after 8 pm. Streets are getting empty.

Review 14：The Sea View hotel was built during the 1940's and despite its age, it is a wonderful hotel. The Sea View is great value. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time at the Sea View. Should I ever go to St. Maarten in the future, I will definitely stay at the Sea View.
Review 15：The water cut off twice while I was having a shower. But it was not a big deal because it came back, I just had to wait The mattress could have been a bit firmer but all in all not to bad. It will not stop me from going back there.
Review 16：I liked the surroundings. Near to restaurant, shopping the beach getting a lovely view of the Cruise liners when they arrive and leave. Walking along the boardwalk and the sea shore. I cannot speak for all of the staff but the best of them all is Antonio he has a lovely personality and a nice sense of humour, very helpful and because of him I would probably do another booking. He deserves a nice handshake from management. I will always sing his praises .

St marten was amazing and this hotel fit the bill until the resort was available the next day. Will avoid this place in the future as it did not provide us with the positive first impression St marten deserves.

Review 26：The casino downstairs usually didn't disturb, apart from on Friday night when loud music played until around 3am. Curtains are also quite thin so be prepared to be woken up early by bright sunlight!
Review 27：The location of the hotel is great: in the centre of Philipsburg, with the beach on one side and the main street on the other. Numerous cafes, bar and restaurants, as well as shopping, within a radius of five-minutes walk. Sea view rooms have a lovely view of the ocean and use of a small verandah. Staff are fantastically friendly and helpful, and the 24-hour reception is useful. Rooms are basic but clean, with air-conditioning, TV, desk and wardrobe space. Value for money is very good given the location and staff.
Review 28：Went with my elderly father loved the room very clean and the prices for the room cheap , good night sleep, didn't hear the casino at all and best of all the staff where lovely friendly very helpful , very good breakfast and very cheap and the location was just great gave my father a lot of of independance as the front entrance to hotel was right in the main shopping street and the back entrance was right on the beach and we felt very safe in the hotel there is 24 hour security so felt really safe so will be staying there again in November can't wait

Review 75：Outside of the casino traffic, there weren't many things open (restaurants, music, etc.) in the surrounding area once the cruise ships departed each day. In addition, the staff seemed stretched very thin; they never had enough personnel on to accommodate the amount of guests waiting in line, and while competent, they had a hard time keeping track of details (taxi scheduling, wake-up calls, etc.).
