Reviews for Ainslie Manor Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:There was nothing that we didn't like.

Review 2:Lovely B & B, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable with much more character than most motels/hotels. Wonderfully comfortable bed, and lots of nice little touches around. Very friendly and helpful owner. Close to the sea, shops and restaurants. Loved the B & B experience and would definitely stay there again.

Review 3:Perfect for a quiet and relaxing time. For some reasons if you can't go out in the evening, meals can be served to your room. Check out the video of the place at their website.

Review 4:Nothing

Review 5:Very friendly owners. Made us very welcome. I had booked for myself n granddaughter at 1st n my older 2 granddaughters wanted to come too, the owners were very happy to fit them in.

Review 6:Bed was tucked in blankets, (no duvet/quilt) otherwise OK. Bit old fashioned, but otherwise all OK and bathroom the same - shower was good.

Review 7:The landlady and her breakfast chat. Location for beach or Brisbane Airport.

Review 8:Taxis are so expensive getting from the airport. In future I would hire a car as it cost us a minimum of $35 for a 20 minute ride.

Review 9:Lyn is so welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast round the dining table gave us the opportunity to meet other guests. Very homely.

Review 10:Room was good but needed a good dusting and a good vacuuming. Generally the rooms need an update .

Review 11:Lynne was a good host and breakfast was good. Access and great location, close to everything including Brisbane.

Review 12:Paper thin walls and we could hear the next door guy snore all night long... Very dirty table in the breakfast room ...bread crumbs from month collected under the glass table top... Half a cut banana for two on the fruit platter and all the fruit looked old and dry ( must have been peeled hours ago or even left overs from other customers) ...too expensive for what we got - might be more value for money during the week as the price is nearly 50 Dollars less. Only booked it because the area was fully booked due to the Ekka....

Review 13:Always a warm welcome from the Hosts. Rooms very comfortable...bed excellent.....a good nights sleep always so important. Lovely verandah to sit on a catch some sun... Very nice breakfast

Review 14:What didn't we like. We had a very nice holiday and are both happy with the accommodation.

Review 15:Lynne is lovely. Plenty of local information and cooks a great breakfast. This is our second stay at this B&B and we will be back.

Review 16:We love this place. It's clean, close to everything, beautifully furnished. It's so good we are staying again this weekend.

Review 17:Everything. Tbe owners are lovely

Review 18:The breakfast fruit plate appeared to be old overripe fruit or had been left out too long and not fresh looked old and wilted ..

Review 19:Good size room and nice two headed shower Air conditioner would not heat up .. Couldn't do anything until Monday to fix it .

Review 20:It has a wonderful homely and friendly atmosphere. Owners are the nicest people, willing to help with anything. The room was lovely and cosy. Would definitely recommend to others.

Review 21:The rooms were nicely done, but paper-thin walls. We could hear people's conversations and snoring at night. For a bed and breakfast the breakfast provided was very poor and even the paid for items as extras were not very good.

Review 22:There is nothing wrong of I experienced. It was lovely

Review 23:I really felt relaxed and comfortable in the house. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The house looked amazing, very European looking!

Review 24:The only issue was that the single bed had no lamp or switch near it which meant walking across the room in the dark [daughter in other bed was fast asleep] being elderly; this could have been a problem; but luckily I did had a torch.

Review 25:Lovely set up and very relaxing stay. Would certainly recommend. Very homely, staff friendly and helpful. More than adequate breakfast.

Review 26:There was absolutely nothing we did not like - all aspects were excellent.

Review 27:Nothing was a problem for our hostess - excellent meals at odd hours and very helpful with local knowledge.

Review 28:Friendly management, every comfort in a quiet location yet handy to bayside shopping & restaurants. A continental breakfast is included. We really enjoyed our weekend stay.

Review 29:There was some traffic noise in our room. Probably not as noticeable in rooms further back in the house.

Review 30:The location was handy after getting in late at the airport. There was a warm greeting at the door even though we were later than intended. Sufficient breakfast and comfortable bed with adequate & quiet air conditioning.

Review 31:There was nothing I didn't like. I felt at home as soon as we walked in and loved the verandah which overlooked the pool. 7 of us congregated there for coffee and a chat in the afternoon. Then met again in the upstairs lounge before we went out for dinner.

Review 32:I stayed one night accompanied by friends but will go back soon and will take my husband. The big towels by the pool were an unexpected bonus. The breakfast delicious. Location was near where we were going and walking distance to a superb restaurant "Passion On A Plate" very happy with Lynne and Ainslie Manor.

Review 33:When we arrived, quite late due to airline delays, we were made feel very welcome. Even after sleeping in and missing breakfast time Lynne didn't hesitate to make sure that we had breakfast before we went out. The hospitality was exceptional. the room was great, the balcony, overlooking the pool, was a fabulous place to sit and reflect n the days activities. I would definitely stay at Ainslie again

Review 34:didn't realise it was a private home when we booked, there for the triathlon, had to get to bed early and up and out at 4-30am so breakfast no benefit.

Review 35:this property really didnt suit us.

Review 36:'Hotel' was more of a B&B but that was no problem. Simple, clean, well appointed room. close to shops and restaurants. Parking outside.

Review 37:Just a few maintenance problems that were easily fixed - blown globe in bedside lamp - I switched globes, toilet would not fill or flush fixed by staff.

Review 38:The ease of changing from one room to another. Our host Lynn was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Review 39:Nothing to say to the negative here. The proprietors are lovely, the breakfast fantastic. Loved the way they have kept the mini bar costs down. Lovely and clean. Very handy for Redcliffe shops and to Brisbane airport and hospitals.

Review 40:Plastic flowers in rooms were dusty. Some tables still had food crumbs under doily or in cane dining table.
