Review 1：things which were not good at all: stuff, smell, breakfast, facilities. I stayed 5 nights and they do not take rubbish from my room (I'm not talking about cleaning the room- i can do it by my self and its not a problem). But personnel could take rubbish from room at least.

Review 4：you feel like visiting your grandparents at the sea, very friendly staff, the standard is adequate for this price, and the localisation is fantastic.

Review 5：For some reason room heaters were turned off during the day and then they turned them on in the evening. Outdoor temperature was -10°C so it was kind of cold in the room. Also our TV was not working but hotel staff fixed it right after we reported this problem.

Review 6：Though it is located not on the sea shore, hotel is 3 minutes of walking to Jomas street, which is good. The room was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was ok with some hot meal as well. My car battery got discharged after several days of staying in frost weather. Hotel staff helped me to locate nearest car service. they also kept my wife and baby in hot and clean hall (we have already signed out from our room) while I was dealing with this issue.

Review 7：There was no one on reception most of the time. When we arrived i thought it was closed down. Inside the hotel was very shabby. the advert on booking.com said it was a new hotel it was not , it may have been 10 years ago. The beds were terrible gave me back ache. Bathrooms had leaks and the shower tray filled with water. Breakfast was 8 to 10 but at 9 we were told we were last and no more food was brought out. The TV was useless and went off and on. We left after 3 night and paid for another hotel as this hotel was spoiling our holiday!!

Review 9：I am profoundly disappointed. Why, you ask? Because view from the first floor window is terrific, mattresses deformed and in October rooms are not heated.

Review 11：The room was always clean and warm. Very good place considering the price. My friend and me were living in the room №10. The smell is good. Walls are soundproof. Everything is made of wood. The hotel itself is not new, but homelike.

Review 12：The bedding was a bit dated and there was a bad smell from the drains on occasion but nothing that cant be remadied. It is worth checking this hotel out if you want value for money and are not to fussy.

Review 13：aurija was very helpful and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was plentiful and the rooms were ok. The location was really good as we were right next to the main jomas street which had lovely bars and resterants. All in all we had a lovely sty at this hotel for the price we paid.

Review 15：Though the building itself was bit old and needs some renovation, it felt like a timetravel to beginning of last century, a nice and cosy wooden household with friendly staff where people can go and enjoy their summer in great beach resort. And breakfast was really really good.

Review 16：Moldy bathrooms (mushrooms in the corner); strong chlorine smell; dirty carpets; dusty shelves; short and narrow blankets which stank of mildew and were torn and worn out; a leaky sink; staff who understand and speak badly english and don't speak and know german at all; water does not flow off the bathroom floor; poor breakfast; there were no willingness to solve problems; allergy reactions and headaches; bad TV picture and only latvian channels; bad wifi connection; towels only for one person in a double room etc.

Review 21：2 minutes walking distance to the sea and to numerous cafeterias, quiet district, free parking, helpful staff speaking English, Russian and Latvian. The last story is a mansard, which I enjoyed quite much.

Nobody was there to open the door, instead it was instructed on the door to call a number !!!! who can call them without roaming??? Only one toilet paper was provided for 2 days!!!! The bed was dirty as they didn't clean after the previous customer. The water pressure in the toilet was so low !!!

Review 31：Staff is rude, speaks only latvian or russian. Towels and sheets had some strange stains on them. View from the room was to some kind of ruins. We returned to hotel at 7PM and the door was already locked, the hosstess let us in and locked the door behind us.

Review 32：The location of the hotel is very good. Also it is very cheap in comparison with other hotels is Jurmala. Breakfast was good, but you have to come early to get it. Good for a night is you don't mind rudeness, stains and speak russian or latvian.

When I called to the number, which was written to a piece ofirma paper on the door, a lady anwsered and told me, that she was already sleeping. So you have to check in earlier. There was no warm water in the morning. I didn't like the breakfast, It just didn't taste good.

Review 39：I was next to the balcony door where guests would go out for a smoke, the banging of the door was quite earth shattering, especially bad in the evening 6-10pm. With the building been made of wood, the sounds of even the faintest footfall could be heard, giving the impression there were a herd of buffalo stampeding through the place every half hour or so. The breakfasts were dire. I had 2 single beds abutted together, which is no good to man nor beast. The attendant was a miserable creature, with not even a hint of the mother language (english). A minor point, the massive telly didn`t work but then again I don`t travel the world to watch the telly, still it did take up alot of space.

Review 40：A very pretty building in keeping with the rest of the location, from my window i could just make out the Baltic winking away at me. Also right on the main street of the town so just a quick hop to the bars and cafes. Nice big room, plenty of space and simply loads of plug points. I was given the use of a kettle after the first night, which was a nice touch as the troupe down the stairs for a brew was not in keeping with a relaxing holiday, nice again.

Review 41：Photos were made 20 years ago or maybe 30. Rooms are very small and dirty, also towels are dirty. Bathroom has got bad smell. From the room window you can see dump and it is terrible. There are no tiles in balcony, like it is showed in photos.

Review 90：beautiful wooden hotel with its romantic atmosphere, 3 - minute - walk from the Majori beach, there was no problem with our early departure at 7:30am and breakfast was already ready, staff called a taxi for us to the airport (taxi cost 15lat)

Review 93：1. We booked a room with a double bed, but there were two beds.2. Bed linen was not changed. 3. When we talked to the manager, she said that all linen is changed. Once brought other linen, it was almost replaced. 4. Then we found that one hand towel is dirty, was also replaced. 5. Bed linen with a yarn - I can not even see if it has been washed or not. Other room was not offered. 6. One bed bedside broken. 7. In the room is not a mirror. 8. The bathroom light is only in the small shower, but not at the mirror 9. In the evening is not possible to use a mirror for the make-up, because there is no normal light to it. 10. Hair dryer not. 11. Do not have curtains to darken a room in the morning sun illuminate directly into it. 12. Breakfast - fried eggs and sausage dish enclosed in a heat - cold, 13. Tomatoes and cucumbers on a plate put disorderly. 14. The coffee - if there be a coffee - it was not even dark colors, black tea even looked darker than coffee, taste better not to talk at all, because it was not coffee. 15. Besides - Staff lie Booking.com that they have given us an other room. It was not. Definitely - do not choose this hotel!!!

Review 95：Breakfast choice and coffee were below expectations. If you want drinkable coffee, better plan to have breakfast in a nearby hotel or restaurant. No hairdryer, iron, tea kettle, which is not surprising given the budget category of the hotel. The biggest drawback - no soundproofing (a company next door could be heard, as if they were staying in our room), which could be possibly handled by the staff, asking the other guests for silence after 9 pm. Nevertheless, would still consider this hotel again for staying in a similar situation.

Review 96：Really liked proximity to the beach, and very central location along the coastline (the best you could possibly get in Jurmala). Atmosphere of wooden holiday house. Decent selection of TV channels in the room, if it's rainy outside. Free parking in a private space just behind the door. Overall, good value for the money, which is mostly due to hotel's beautiful and convenient location.
