Review 1：Bed was very uncomfortable. Net curtains were torn and dirty. Because room looked recently renovated it made dirty curtains stick out like proverbial sore thumb

Review 2：Location. Bathroom clean. Very glad to find ironand ironing board as we were going to a funeral and needed to press clothes.

Review 7：Booking.com brought this hotel up as an option when it can only take 3 persons and we wouldn't have booked there if we knew that but the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us in adjoining rooms so we didn't have to find alternative accommodation at 6.00pm in the evening. We are travelling backwards and forwards from point Samson over the next month or two for follow up appointments for our son in Perth following surgery and we would love to stay again but for the fact that you only have capacity for 3 persons. My only suggestion for improvement would be to possibly offer a rollaway bed so that families of 4 can enjoy your hotel

Review 9：Free wifi didn't work, tried to talk to staff about the wifi and was quickly told "our wifi does work and it's great" and they weren't interested, staff heard fighting and swearing amongst themselves, no on location kitchen / room service

Review 10：Room was clean, great location / central. Renovated room was nice however bathroom requires more work as floor became sopping wet with no shower door and very limited towels and floor mats

Review 11：It was unfortunate our room was near the house keeping room but at the end of the day it shouldn't matter what room your in being woken up a 7am was quite annoying.

Review 12：We had to change rooms a couple of times due to Electrical problems however the staff where so helpful and obliging that it wasn't so bad. The first room had flicking electricity and the second room the air con didn't work however the third room was fantastic. They upgraded us for all the drama. Happy campers after that. The only other disappointing factor was no meals available apart from room service. They have such a lovely spot overlooking the beach food would have been great. We would never have left the hotel!!!

Review 14：Not really a bad experience just felt a bit dissatisfied ...our air con in our room didn't work (happens I know) I reported it the first day ...was warm over night but as I was unwell thought I had a temperature. by the next morning realised it wasn't me so reported it on the way out in the morning was told that they would have a look while we were out. returned to the room at 4.30 in the arvo room was really unpleasant so went back down feeling like one of those wingers...at 6pm they rang and said we would have to be moved...to a smaller room (but on the upside the air con worked.) not really a problem ,.. but really thought we would get some sort of a discount for the inconvience mmmm maybe I'm a dreamer.??? and that's not touching on the lift not working......

Review 20：The menu says to order breakfast at the counter, I went to the counter to order room service breakfast and was told I had to go to the dining room in the morning, and that I could not have room service breakfast. While I was there I ordered room service dinner which was fine. I had passed breakfast trays outside rooms the previous morning. As I travel alone I would have preferred breakfast in my room as I had work to do. That was the only thing that I was disappointed in, otherwise everything else was great.

Review 22：The room we were in overlooked the car park and had a sliding door with a broken lock which meant the room was unsecured - had to request another room. Lucky we noticed it before settling in for the night.

Review 35：On the day we checked in the hotel had a problem with the access card machine. This meant they had to give guests access to their rooms manually. The staff managed this in a friendly manner.

Review 36：At times there was only one person covering check in and bar. Whilst they did their best, they were often under the pump, and we and others, experienced long waits for service. As it was a long weekend maybe better coverage could have been organised.

Communication was a little slack as we waited hours for a return phone call that we were told would only be half an hour. Requested an early check in. Room wasn't ready, hense phone call. Harbour room over rated ocean rooms much better especially those that have been renovated. Will I stay again. Yes but in different room.

Wind out window good for fresh air however no safety stop to prevent small child falling from third floor Easy for adventurous child to climb onto window sill. Review 58：Have been using OC for several years. Live in rural area so first choice for o/n for functions is the Ocean Centre. Accept that some places may have a high turnover of staff but OC seams to get it right. (at least each time I have stayed I have had no complaints).

Review 59：Been a regular customer over the years, got the back rooms, noisy, other guests smoke comes into the room, I always book ocean views, but this time none available one would of thought they would put you in a nicer room.

Review 61：Our booking was not on the system when we arrived. I specifically asked for a high level room but we were just about on ground level. Our room was not cleaned on day two we did advise reception that we were out of the room. The third day the room floors were not vacuumed. The bathroom was also not the cleanest on arrival. The carpet on the balcony was continually wet due to rain at night however the days were clear but the carpet remained wet all day. Breakfast closed at 9am seems a little early for weekend.

The young lady who greeted us at reception was extremely friendly and when I asked to upgrade the room for the night, even though I had pre booked, she was more than happy to accomodate. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect looking out over the water. THANKYOU for a nice weekend away.

Review 72：The rooms are big and have been renovated but it appears a few short cuts have been taken. The shower spills water onto the bathroom floor, the toilet leaked and the toilet paper holder was in a position that made access difficult!

No initiative used by the customer service girl..clearly my business colleague has a foot injury and is wearing a cumbersome brace and he got the last room in the far corner of the property. Room position is horrendous - To rent these roomsites they need to be much cheaper priced!.

Review 88：Wired and wireless internet were a bit slow, but it was free so not a huge complaint. I should have paid the small extra bit to upgrade my room to ocean view. Street view rooms have to hear the street sweeper go by everyday at 4:30am and the dumpsters get emptied at 5:30 am.

Review 98：Only a couple of TV channels, most of the free to air did not work and not additional foxtel channels. Rooms were expensive considering it was a hotel. No evening meals served so that was disappointing, we thought they may have served counter meals. Breakfast was even more disappointing, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our breakfast and whilst the presentation was great our poached eggs were not edible. But overall enjoyable stay even though the rooms are quite expensive. Would stay here again

Review 99：The location was amazing, looking directly over the water. Rooms had been renovated to high standard, were really clean and large. Just make sure when you book you don't get a ground level room as it is almost below ground

Review 107：Information about the location prior to booking. It was Monday and whole place was shut, it was only a stop over so no issue, if you know in advance!!!!

Review 108：We were sent upstairs to a construction site with buckets of cement & workers. No explanation, slight annoyance by reception staff at being disturbed, no apology. Made us look like a fool not being able to find our room when the pathway was restricted. Wake up Geraldton!!!

Review 110：We had the most awesome view of the ocean, Geraldton Harbour and the Geraldton foreshore. The view was amazing. There was a nescafe coffee machine with pods in the room and the bar had Saturday evening free nibbles to go with our complimentary glass of wine. I had several deallings with various staff and they were all very helpful and friendly.

Review 111：Unfortunately breakfast was horrendous. I was in a rush and told them so. What I got was not what I ordered, which was surprising considering there was only one other couple at breakfast and I didn't have time to send it back. The TV had very poor reception and kept dropping out and was off line more than it was on line. On my last day there, there was no hot water in any of the rooms. No explanation received from staff. Hopefully they were just having a bad day.

Chambre à l'arrière du bâtiment donnant sur le parking, couloir passant par dehors, odeur de renfermé dans la chambre, chambre vieillotte et un invité surprise de joli taille : un cafard. Plus de possibilité de changer de chambre car plus de personnel à 21H30. Le lendemain seulement après avoir montré les photos, nous avons obtenu des excuses. Nous ne recommandons pas. Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Ne mérite pas un 4,5 étoiles, ni la note 8,1 de booking. We had booked a first night, we stated that we would arrive at 22h. Once there, hotel closed, the number "After hours" unanswered. Thinking it was one of the best hotels in the area, we took a second night ... Room at the back of the building, facing the parking lot, corridor through out, smelling musty in the room, a outdated room and a unexpected surprise, nice size: a cockroach. No opportunity to change room because no staff after 9pm. The next day, only after showing the photos, we got an apology. We do not recommend this hotel. Too expensive for what you get. Does not deserve 4.5 stars nor the note 8.1 of booking.
