Review 7：There is cockroach in my room, they didn't clean my room properly, there is still sand in the floor and they didn't trow away the rubbish in the bin. Not friendly receptionist, very moody, is it hard to atleast give a bit of smile to the customer, slow service, the breakfast not that nice but the restaurant stuff is very pleasant. There is construction next to the hotel and noisy.

Review 9：The hotel gave 2 free drinks but the available period was 2-5pm. I couldn't claim for it as I reached the hotel after 5pm. The stair was not that clean.

If its unavoidable, d DOORMAN shud manage d traffic coz d outside is MORE IMPORTANT N CRITICAL than INSIDE d glass doors, TINK 4 WAD 4 A SEAMLESS convenience 4 guests.

Review 25：My friend would like to swim at hotel swimming pool but didn't bring swimming suit. I checked with front desk and they told me that guest is not allow to swim without proper swimming attire. I suggested to my friend to have a walk at the beach since we are not allow to swim. When we pass by the swimming pool, we found a group of people playing in the swimming pool without proper swimming attire. I feel that hotel management should strict to everybody if there is a attire rule.

Review 31：A couple of things that didn't bother us too much: the wifi was slow, and tv reception suffered a lot from rain fade. As the area is 6km from Georgetown, it's a taxi or bus to get there, but there are good malls close by; 10 mins walk or so.

Review 32：The staff were outstanding; friendly, helpful, everything you'd like. They went out of their way to assist. On my birthday they surprised me with a cake and card, and sang happy birthday. We can't speak highly enough of them.

Tanjong Bungah is somewhat halfway between Georgetown & Batu Ferringhi; making it convenient to go either ways. Near to supermarket that closes at 0100hrs every day; and Persiaran Gurney with its excellent choices of food is just nearby.

Review 57：I have been request for a king size bed but the hotel only give me a twin bed stating all king size bedroom is full even I booked a month in advance. It is a bit unfortunate also we are given a room facing the big crane. The basin sinkhole is stuck on the second night after the staff do the cleaning, cause the water flow slowdown. As this suppose to be our honeymoon trip, these event has been a little let down.

The picture gallery on the website showed rooms equipped with bath tubs but alas there was none. Another disappointment was the swimming pool. Oh and before I forget..the room air conditioning was horrible..but we gave it time..tot it would get better at night...finally unable to stand the heat anymore we called reception. A guy came in and checked to find out the compressor was not working. How is it tat a hotel was unable to maintain basic air conditioning before a guest checks in?? It totally baffled us. We came with the intention to add another day to stay on but stuck to one night and couldn't leave faster. Totally a disappointing experience.

The beach was in front of the hotel but the water was dirty and there was a sign warning about the jellyfish :(( the pool was nice though but closed a bit too early for a holiday resort. Great seafood restaurant just next door and a masive food court with mainly chinese food on the other side of the road. Hotel staff was excellent always smiling. Bus station 2 min away from the hotel with easy access to Georgetown and Batu Ferringi and the rest of the northeastern part of the island. Overall excellent!!

Added 17 Malaysian MR per night as Tax being collected by Government in words, explaining and convincing guests that the reason for additional 17 MR per night is Government Taxation. 2- Bellman taking advantage of guests, ripping them off charging them 30 MR per hour minimum of 4 hours sum up to 150 Malaysian Ringgit buying time by going somewhere else than what it suppose to be. 3- Location severely Isolated. In addition Bellman taxis Gang ripping of tourists. Any short distance trip cost leg and arm.

Seems the lousy breakfast has not changed since then.

Review 141：The room occupied with king-sized bed, comfy and clean pillows. We are fortunate that our room is located on the right wing rather than the left because it is noisy during the day due to construction sure just right besides the hotel. The good thing with this hotel is the hotel restaurant is facing the sea view so you can enjoy your meal with good view and fresh sea breeze. The staffs are friendly.
