Review 1：The location is good at one end of Makati avenue, with many restaurants, eateries nearby. Its also very close to Century City Mall. The lounge entertainment was good.

Review 2：COLD swimming pool, hard bed, curtains don't close properly and let the light in, shower had 4 jets working out of 20 and needs cleaning.

Review 6：I didn't like the staff, they're arrogant and not paying attention when you're asking for assistance. I was talking at the phone with the staff at the reception, I wasn't finish yet at all and he dropped the phone, it was very impolite.ive been into many hotels, cheaper hotels are actually nicer, staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotels with higher price staff are snobbish. That's only base on my own experience.

Review 10：I liked that the staff gave us the non-smoking room we requested, with requirement that it should be in a higher floor (15th). Location is very close to other establishnents, we didn't have problem when midnight came and we had to look for food. Wifi is good, I had to use it for work before midnight. And we felt New Year very much, fireworks display was in front of us.

Review 19：£500 + taken from safe in room,I only realised when I got to Airport after checking out, I had already told reception that on returning to my room early evening on 20th December the door to my room was ajar. Everything seemed to be in place except a set of headphones that were next to my lap top.I had never taken these from my hand luggage. I did check the safe to see if it was locked which it was but did not think to check the contents. I did call the hotel from the airport but could not get reception to understand my problem.

Review 21：When we wanted to use the gym facilities at one time but was unable to as the staff used it for practicing for a performance.

Review 22：The staff was very accommodating to our needs and were very polite as well. The location was ideal as it was easily accessible to the commercial areas such as Greenbelt (10-15 mins walk), The Fort and also Rockwell powerplant.

Review 23：They use credits card for reservation only and cannot charge it! Therefore they asked for cash before it was possible to enter the room! Nobody helped to bring the luggage to the room. The refrigerator was EMPTY! Wifi did not work - therefore we had to change the room In the new room it was very slow! Even there the refrigerator was empty! It seems to be normal that at the Philippines only SELOM an ATM gives money to an European card. After trying it close to the hotel without success, I begged that I can pay later - after getting money at the bank or in a mall. They accepted it unfriendly - but I had to let the passport there - even as they made a copy! Even as the rooms are ok in principle, the whole behavior is NOT acceptable!

Review 32：Very poor assistance of the receptionist, I've been in the hotel at 4pm and it's already a late checked-in from normal checked time at 2pm. I told the lady staff when I arrived to prepare the room and she said we are already cleaning and preparing, after almost 2 hours while waiting for my guest the room still not prepapred and seems the lady is lost that she don't know what room she will give me, so I've waited another 30minutes waiting for them to prepare then gave us the room card and informed us that the pillow case is to follow.When we enterted the room as been said no pillow case and we're jaut about to sit down a room service of fruits platter. They gave us with a connected room that almost like no soundsproof we can hear all night until 5am the noisy neighbors, and I complained 2 times and made another complaints before they made them quiet. On our last night I asked the reception to make a wake up call at 6.30am of the following day, I was up at 6.30am until 6.45am still no calls that made me complains again. Three times that we went down because the hotel card is not working, they said it caused when it's touch closer to the cellphone, at first we admitted that it touched somehow but the 2nd & 3rd time my boyfriend is not holding a cellphone and the card is only at his pocket.Very old hotel and need to be renovated already.

It is taste a chicken frozen for days. The rice doesnt have the scent of chicken rice too. I had curry noodles too and the curry taste was blend and tasteless. Review 47：I love the friendly staff of berjaya hotel i felt so welcomed and will be sure to be coming back. Thank you berjaya hotel managements for well trained, polite, friendly and kind staffs. The rasraurant in berjaya was really comfy n have fallen in love with the concept. I hang out there everyday and at times 3x a day. Hope with my comments they are given a treat ?

Review 48：Indoor pool was freezing and the curtains allowed sunlight to pass through as it wasn't big enough to cover the windows.

Review 49：The staff was cheerful and friendly ,even when we checked in at 1 a.m. As for the room, it was quite cozy and had a quiet environment. The location was awesome. There are also numerous restaurant options around the area that are mostly walking distance.New Century Mall and Greenbelt were also convenient places to go to and chill! When we checked out, the concierge was efficient enough in bringing our luggage to our hired cab as we kept it at the hotel for storage.

Review 60：The TV was old and we cannot play movies from a hard drive. I was also expecting more from the hotel pool but was disappointed when I saw it.

Review 62：1.Bad location for getting to the main areas of Makati. Sometimes very hard to get a taxi in the congested Makati Ave. Good area if you like the bars. 2. Simple things like drinking glasses, wine glasses, bottle opener not in the room. If you want to open a bottle you have to ring room service and a man comes to the door and opens your bottle. He doesn't leave the opener, so if you want a second drink, you have to ring room service again. Ridiculous. 3. Bath/shower combination a bit outdated and slow to drain.

Review 66：The WORST toilet / shower I have ever experienced. The toilet didn not fluch for 3 out of 4 nights and had to be manually rinsed away. The shower was simply terrible. A small trickle of water, I had to fill a bucket to use it. Towels were old and ragged. Toilet roll paper thin. Room smelt old and mouldy and the safe and electric sockets were hanging off the wall.

Review 98：Toilet did not flush properly, sink stopper did not work, housekeeping left no towels and took half an hour to rectify the problem, the dinner and service was awful. I believe the hotel is Indian owned and frequented mostly by Indians. The menu reflects Indian culture but the food and service was very disappointing. My chicken madras curry was the worst I have ever been served and the kari kari served to my wife was equally poor. On top of this, we waited half an hour for our starter which was soup of the day and then my curry arrived within 30 seconds of the soup but my wife's kari kari did not arrive for a further 30 minutes. There was plenty of apologies but it was just not good enough.

Review 100：Comfort, staff begging tips, bed was like sleeping on the floor. Good was terrible the room was dark dengy and the room service was always late. My room should have been off line for renovation and may have been but they rented to me anyway.

Room service was awful always late and my food was cold as well as the coffee. The bell hop begged for tips by holding my vehicle door open and refusing to move until he got a tip.downhill after that. The shuttle service was convenient but pricy. The rooms I reserve at Berjaya will be a deplorable room needing renovation. This is the second and last time and last time for me. I wouldn't recommend Berjaya to an enemy let along a friend.

Review 131：We booked a non smoking room but upon entering the room it terribly smells like a cigar. I asked if we can be transferred to another room because we have a 5 month old child and the hotel said there are no available room. I asked to just refund our payment and the hotel said I need to come down. We went down and this time my husband spoke to another hotel attendant we were transferred to a slightly larger room with a slight smell of cigar.
