Review 1：Rooms have very basic furniture and services. They seem a bit dated.

Review 2：Nice Location directly in the beach. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Big swimming pool and well kept gardens. Hotel is extremely clean.

Review 3：Food options were awful but thankfully there was a family run pizza place next door. Had to pay $5 for one pool towel which seems ridiculous. We went for a walk and were blown away of how poorly the surrounding area was kept. I understand it's probably an off season but it was gross.

Review 4：The room and common areas were very clean and while certainly due for an update it appeared much more up to speed than the surrounding area.

Review 5：The hotel rooms were very noisy from other guests. Maids dragging furniture for hours!!!! We could here toilets flushing constantly. No room safe. Reception not very obliging at check in did not get any of my requests. They seem to cater to bus tours not individual travellers.

Review 9：THE STAFF ! we forgot to get the Passports back as we left, and forgot to give the keys back, the staff arranged for a car to come With the Passports to us! I had my birthday and at the morning of the birthday, there was a beautiful breakfast With a card for me. ahh the staff are the best in this Place! Thank you so much for all you did for us!

Review 10：We booked and paid extra for a sea view.This was a small window,one half of which was obscured by misted up double glazing.The pictures displayed during booking indicated at least a full height french door.The reality was very different.The room was very basic and felt like a very low budget hotel.The walls are very thin and we were constantly disturbed by noise from other guests.The food was generally mediocre.We did not find any of the staff to be particularly friendly or welcoming.The resort and surrounding area seemed to be run down and had little to offer.

Review 11：The pool and sunbathing terraces are excellent.The adjacent private beach is very handy and there was no shortage of sunbeds.

Review 12：The staff at the reception is not much friendly. Especially, one of the female staff is very unfriendly. Male staffs are gentile and helpful. The room is a littile bit small. The building is too modern and city hotel kind of atmosphere.

Review 13：Location is very good. You can fully enjoy the beach and pool. Eureka guys, the young instructers sent from outside agency for beach and poolside entertainment, are very friendly and excellent. My wife and kid enjoyed to play with them a lot.

Review 17：Cleanliness inside hotel and around the pool and beach areas. Staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and very professional. Capanna in pool area was just great. Really enjoyed our stay.

Review 18：Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We had a flood one day due to heavy rain, and although the water was cleaned up in our room nobody asked if everything was OK. Food was terrible. Poor choice of food and not well cooked. Not sure how you can go wrong in Italy but Hotel Del Levante managed it. Staff in the restaurant were also unfriendly. I asked for tea one morning and the waiter pointed at the tea pots to go and get it myself. Sometimes when you asked for something such as a cappucino it was more or less thrown at you. I am not sure if it was because we were English - but you really felt you were being a pain if you asked for anything at all. There is also nowhere else to eat (unless you have a car). there is a kids club - but it is no good for children under 7 or 8. They are not geared up for small children at all. All in all I would not recommend this place. Rooms also (although they are clean) are not up to standard - Iexpected a lot more from a 4 star hotel.

Review 27：They charge a guest for the use of a towel at the pool and beach (€ 5 each and per day). This is very uncommon for a (socalled) 4 stars beach resort hotel. And for the internet ( card) you have to pay € 9 per day, which was known to us upfront but you can only use the card for 1 device. So they are really milking the guests!! And it seems they do not have family rooms so they put 2 extra beds in a room just big enough for two persons. A real lousy hotel!

Review 31：Location on the beach and sea view is what I prefer and this hotel is located right on the beach. Breakfast was diverse and good. Beach is spacious with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Review 32：Although the Hotel is in a good position for the beach. It is very difficult to get to other places if you do not have your own transport. The hotel can arrange taxis for you to take you on day excursions but it has to be for a minimum of six people. This we did not know until arriving at the hotel and reading the information pack. As there were only three of us it meant that if we did go on any trips we had to pay for six people to cover the costs.

Review 33：The Hotel was spacious and well presented. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful especially with information for local travel by train. The Buffet Breakfast was well laid out with plenty of choice. Having a private beach area was lovely.

Review 36：Hotel was definitely not 4 star. Pictures on website were deceptive. Wepaid for room with sea view which the website shows pictures of the roomwith a balcony, we had a small window that looked out to the sea and thewindow opened inward and my 4 year old daughter kept hitting her head onthe sharp edge of the window. We requested to be moved and for 2 daysthey kept saying maybe the next day and though we stayed 8 nights wenever were moved. The singing ("evening entertainment")outside is very loud and goes on until 11:30 each night and makessleeping difficult, particularly for young children. Beware if you aresensitive to smoke: though our reservation was for nonsmoking, there wasan ashtray in the room and smoking on either side of us. Non-smokingroom seems to be you choosing not to smoke in your room, not a roomdesignated for non-smokers. The breakfast was not good. Very littlefresh fruit/veg (though the area seemed to grow plenty), mostlycanned and the fruit that was fresh was really low grade: apples andpears bruised and mealy, not very tasty, a moldy tomato on the buffetthat one seem bothered it was put out. The rest is what you may expectfrom a hotel breakfast buffet, not impressive considering the region.

Review 37：We found 2 members of front desk staff to be particulary pleasant andhelpful (and spoke English very well): Eleanora and Antonia. The privatebeach just off the hotel is well maintained and the life gaurds by boththe pool and beach were very attentive (both for safety and to raiseyour umbrella). At one point my daughter swallowed too much water in thepool and the lifegaurd was there very quickly to check on her. The poolis very clean. The hotel lobby is modern and comfortable though therooms are quite basic though spacious. There is a parking attendant thatwas very helpful. Pizza place next door was quite good and seems to be afamily business--not to be confused with pizzaria on hotel grounds. Thebakery and vegetable/fruitstand nearby are terrific.

Review 38：There was nothing I did not like.

Review 39：Extremely welcoming and helpful staff all roung, from the beach attendant helping with the sunbeds to the restaurant staff providing yoghurt at any mealtime when my 2 year old demamded it! Everywhere was extremely clean and well maintained. It was pleasant for all of us staying, quiet enough for grandparents to si and read, but enough to do for 5 and 2 year old.

Review 40：No room service, towels were kitchen towels, breakfast horrible, no 24 hours reception, 2 times the cleaning lady entered the room without knocking, cold in rooms, noisy, no way this hotel is a 4*, 3 at best. worthless for the money, don't go there!!!!!

Review 42：Room walls were very thin, so that noise from our neighbours disturbed on a several occasions; normal conversation could be easily overheard and this really ought to be addressed. The hotel was not full as we were staying at the very end of season; if completely full, the outside facilities would have been very crowded.

Review 48：Hotel should have a visiting manicurist. I am sure they wd do a roaring trade. The shop could do with a shake up apart from some sports gear. Could we have some English magazines or papers. How about a shuttle to Torre Canne itself a couple of times a day. The Trenino is good but a bit of a bone shaker for the elderly. But all in all the hotel situated on a gorgeous beach with attentive beach staff and a magnificent grove of trees for shade is hard to fault.

Review 49：First went there last year and the staff (Antonella at reception in particular) were absolutely fantastic when I was taken ill. The hotel doctor also was great. This year everyone was great again. They are quite dignified but if you are in trouble their caring side comes out. It has become a real home from home. Lovely breakfast. Last year we found the restaurant a bit slow in the evening and with three courses dinner could take hours. Would suggest they import more buffets in the evening - see the good German hotels in Lanzarote such as Los Jameos Playa which has the right approach to self service in restaurants. The pizzeria by the sea is great and more pleasantly informal. The guy who runs the evening bar is marvellous and speaks exquisite English. The maids who clean are great and v efficient. Nico speaks excellent English at the desk and helped me with probs with wireless broadband. This year we had b and b and tended to eat at La Brace, a sea food restaurant and pizzeria right next door where excellent food was delivered quickly to tables in the open air. Wander along the beach in the morning and there are nice linen dresses etc. Lack of shopping nearby otherwise.

Review 50：We found the restaurant staff and some of the housekeeping staff to berude. One one occasion, we walked into the restaurant and were sat by awaitress. Then a waiter came over and very rudely told us we couldn'tsit at that table because it was reserved and demanded that we moved. Itold him that the waitress sat us down, and then he changed his tune. Ihave no issue with moving to another table, but I have an issue with hisattitude and rudeness. On another occasion, the housekeeping staff cameinto our room very early on the day we were to check out. We told them(in Italian, no less) that we were checking out at 10am and asked themto clean the room after we left.Yet the same person unlocked out door abit later to try and clean our room. They seemed to be keen on doing asthey please.On another note- the "air conditioning" is Italian air conditioning, meaning it's not very strong at all. Overall, it was OK, but I have no idea why this place has 4 stars.

Review 52：The food was not that great and the selection was limited. The breakfast was only OK. There was not free WiFi even though it was advertised that way. The front desk would not call you a cab they had to book it and you paid their rates. Much more than the cab rate. The AC was not good, hot rooms. The linens were scratchy.
