Review 1：all the lights had to be uncoiled and plugged in to be used...not sure of the reason for this??

Review 3：This hotel is really overpriced (as common on Sint Maarten). The location is poor, the hotel building pretty much stands out from its surroundings: dirty streets and ugly unfinished buildings. It's rather far from the beach. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, the cleanliness of our room was very questionable in general. All windows but one were stuck.

Review 16：I arrived around 9:00. They hotel was not near any food places and did not offer a vending machine. I also had to wait 30 minutes for a staff member to open the lobby, so I could book a hotel. No one was overly helpful. Not a place to stay for one night.

Review 18：found this quaint local hotel a little Out of the way. It was clean and found out the living room area was not air conditioned just the bedroom. It is a little tired and needs some updating. staff fine. Short walk to store and restaurant. Lovely out side area. If you like roosters they crow in the morning.
Review 19：The 'large private terrace' we expected was not present. We had a very small private balcony with no view and a large very public terrace outside our room. No food/drink available. Not an attractive location.

Review 21：Basic motel type rooms; poorly equiped kitchens (no washing up equipment, complimentary tea, coffee, drinking water, coffee filters, limited cutlery and equipment), mismatched furniture, cellophane still on table and bedside lamps (fire risk?). But worst of all were the plastic sheets placed under the sheets - they rustled when you sat on the bed! What kind of guest stays there? Philipsburg beach area is not within walking distance and not worth visiting in our opinion.
Review 22：Helpful receptionist who directed us to a local restaurant within walking distance located in the car park of the well stocked modern "La Grande" supermarket (just off the roundabout and better than the "Econo" supermarket at the bottom of the street). Pool area is attractive. The location seemed very quiet when we stayed. You need to have a car in order to get around.
