Review 1:Confortable beds, good shower, clean room and in front of the beach, nice attendents and good restaurants and bar. We were there for 10 days and it was great.

Review 2:Lots of unhelpful staff. Really made me feel like asking them anything was an inconvenience. Plus, resort wasn't nearly as luxurious as I was expecting/hoping. Broken things in room. No room service. Final important thing: time share sales pitch was annoying and intrusive.

Review 3:View and beach. Drinks were good. Water was gorgeous. Had amazing sunset view.

Review 4:Distance from Airport and to Phillipsburg was acceptable. (Walked to and from Philipsburg) Reserved a normal room and got a kitchenette with balcony and view to Philipsburg. Were able to see fish by snorkeling . Edmond was very helpful at the reception office.

Review 5:Room never got vaccumed - all week there was holes in the plaster on the walls at the ceiling I had to request the cleaning staff to clean the toilet and shower It took 2 days to get towels form the front desk a waitress at Gizmo's - told us that our tip was divided with other servers - saying that our tip wasn't enough - very rude. We were very disappointed - we hoped to return - and become a member of the Divi resorts - trying other islands, but now we don't know.

Review 7:The final charge to my card after the ad on booking.com. I don't mind but don't advertise one thing and charge something else out an explanation.

Review 9:The outside bar was not as good as expected, drinks poorly put together and lacked taste. Dinning was also poor, if you wanted more then just bar food you needed to travel out-side the resort.

Review 10:Location was as expected but beach needed to be better maintained. overall though the facility was good.

Review 11:Bad front desk service. Poor facility, room telephone is broken, no wifi. Hotel did not accept my second reservation and refused to take responsibility. When showing her confirmation printout, the manager still refused to take any measures for any solution. However when my local friend came, they found my reservation in their booking system. I'll never book this incredible hotel and let all my friends know it.

Review 14:We were pleasantly surprised with our room for our honeymoon that was right over the water! We had some travel issues arriving on our due date and The Divi did not charge us for the missed first night. We ended up changing our flights to stay two days longer and Divi made accommodations for us to stay in our same beautiful room. Great spot!!

Review 15:could not provide us converter for European electricity plug (isn't it EU territory?) and I was very disappointed with Water aerobics trainer because he told he does not hold the class if I am the only who would like to join (he told he would feel like he is doing the exercises ALONE...) and he did not even look for other participants just played with his mobile phone!

Review 21:Being in sales, I don't need to be badgered about the timeshares. 3 phones calls and messages, in addition to constant questions at every walk was too much. We have other timeshares and if we were interested, we would've been happy to let you know.

Review 25:Many of the staff were barely helpful. We arrived and were allocated a room that was not as requested. We then had to ring and get a room with two beds as arranged.

Review 27:Staff tried to bump us from booked accommodation to 'upgrade' which was their self-catering apartments and not beachfront suites as confirmed. No resident manager on site (or not prepared to show). Took 5 hours from arrival to get accommodation as booked.

Review 32:Excellent location and enjoyed various resort amenities such as water sports availability and restaurants. The resort also offered tours of the island and a bus ride to the Mardi Gras parade in Grand Case on the French side, which is a must do. Friendly staff.

Review 35:We were in a beach front room with a small porch, which had a table and two chairs. The room was small with two double beds and a nice size bathroom. The amenities in room were standard and sparse. A/C was noisy. Just a basic room.

Review 36:Property is close to cruise port and in a beautiful location. We walked entire property and the views and grounds are very nice. The Restaurant and Bar on water had amazing views of the bay an sunset was breathtaking. Mostly all of the staff were accommodating and nice.

Review 37:How great the staff was even having been through a hurricane two days prior to our arrival. We were happy the power came back on by the time we checked in!

Review 38:We had disability issues and whilst it was rectified after the first night, the attitude of the manager and his staff was that we were at fault despite them acknowledging our request in an email 8 months earlier. Not good customer relations.

Review 56:I booked this accommodation online for one price (Euro 982) and was charged a higher rate (Euro 1249.98) by the organisation. It took more than hour of my insistance that I should not be charged extra (euro251.98) before the staff were able to rectify this problem and allow us to enter our room with a promise to refund me the excesive charge. The staff felt that I should simply sign agreeing to their terms before we could be provided a room. All this after more than 15 hrs of travelling. This would not be our first choice next time we visit St Maarten.

Review 58:Security guards at hotel entrance are effective but need to communicate better. No clear signs as to where check-in is located. There are postings to follow but they need to be more accurate. This is a bigger issue when arriving late evening. Roadways in the hotel need maintenance. When making my reservation online, I requested a king size bed but initially was placed in a room with double beds. I called the front desk and a few minutes later they were able to accommodate. The rooms need maintenance(painting, touch-ups, minor carpentry work). The bathroom faucet provided a trickle of water. Bedding looked to have been made in a rush.

Review 59:The location and view was excellent. Multiple activities such as jet skies, diving and games involving the family. Distance to shopping and restaurant district.

Review 60:The wi-fi was broken throughout the property and had been broken for days. The towels are controlled by a towel card system, one towel per guest. The pool and its restaurant were under control. The staff is constantly hawking time shares. Many of the guests complained of broken A/C and other amenities. Our room had a mediocre view with one tiny window that was up high.

Review 61:It's a great location and a nice beach. The princess of the Netherlands was staying there in her own private suite.

Review 62:Low quality of maintenance. Screen doors (against mosquitoes, essential here) broken, so to have balcony door open not an option. Equally unfixed repairs in the room and bathroom. Mystery charges on final bill. It was deducted, but should never have been able to appear in first place. Expensive breakfast, with hidden add ons for service (at a buffet!)

Review 65:Excellent care of the beach staff (Atiba and Albert: they are veryhelpful and friendly). There are options for breakfast, from the fullbreakfast or buying products at the convenience store, located insidethe hotel facilities. The beach is wonderful.

There was no record of a reservation when we arrived, nowelcome, no apology, no information and a 'don't careattitude'. After waiting about 15 minutes with no explanation Ibecame frustrated and asked the male receptionist what was taking solong. All he replied was 'Don't worry be happy'!!! Not whatwe wanted to hear after a delayed flight and we were tired. There wasalso no help offered with our bags up a steep flight of stairs. It was adefinite feeling of 'we have no reservation through Booking.com, sojust put them anywhere, they are only here for one night'! Our roomwas not prepared for receiving guests: The A/c broke as soon as weput it on I turned down the bed - unpressed sheets - not freshlyprepared plus there was a stain on the sheets and pillow Stains on thefloor No soap Had to search for toilet paper No welcome pack No teasachets Outside A/c unit going on/off all night No mirror in theroom All in all not a room worth $302 for the night! The next morning wespoke with Sarah/Sandy at reception - a breath of fresh air - oh theimportance of customer service! She listened apologized, we negotiatedfree breakfast. I said the room was not worth $302. She said it was abeach front room (which we had requested). If this is what they providefor $302 for the night, the room was defintely not worth the money - itwas like staying it a cheap motel room but with a sea view! Not what ourexpectations were. There is a smarter, modern development at Little DiviBay Beach Resort. This is what we were expecting - as the pictures onBooking.com show - This was not the reality. If you book at this hotelthrough Booking.com make sure you check with the hotel as to exactlywhat room you will be getting!
