Built over 100 years ago, Hotel Starka is located in the Old Town of Opole, by the Odra River. It offers elegant rooms with minibars and free Wi-Fi access.

Review 1：I guess there is some music club nearby as on the friday night there was quite a noise from the street (loud music, drunk people, etc). But that's the price you have to pay, when staying in the centre of the town. The other night was quiet...

Review 2：This was the best 3* hotel I've stayed in. I believe that if there was a pool and/or wellnes, the hotel would be very good 4*. Even the standard room was huge and very comfortable with nice view on the river. Outdoor parking available for the fee.

Review 3：The coffee is terrible. They have onenof those machines which you press the button and out comes the "coffee" of your choice. Bitter, weak, just awful. PLEASE get rid of this machine and serve your guests real coffee even if you have to increase your room rates.

Review 4：Wow, wow, wow! What a lovely small hotel in a very nice small city. Wonderful staff, everyone from check-in to check-out and breakfast, so helpful and all with excellent English. Best local restaurant right on the ground floor. Really nice breakfast, all fresh.

Review 12：I cannot believe that this is a 3 star property. I have booked manyhotels through Booking.Com, but this one tops them all. The owner isrunning this hotel himself with a small team of exceptional staff. Thereis absolutely nothing I can fault and the attention to detail isextraordinary. The restaurant is world class and the bistro breakfastwill put many five stars to shame. What a gem!

Review 14：Absolutely polite staff. Very helpful for check-in and out and also staff taking care of breakfast and looking after guests. You cannot ask for more.

Review 15：No gym! Sadly I only normally stay at hotels with gyms, so as good as the Starka was, I'm unlikely to return (For slightly less lazy travellers, there is a gym not too far from the hotel, just ask at reception)

Review 18：very, very friendly personnel; exceptional restaurant - you have to book at arrival, try the terrance even in bad weather - it's covered and the view is magnificent. Ask the waiter for daily specials.

Lovely bar / restaurant patronized by local people. Good breakfast again with fantastic staff who went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed.

Review 39：This was my second stay at Starka and it won't be my last. I upgraded to a superior room with a great view of the river and it was worth the little extra cost. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Meals in the restaurant continue to be excellent and the breakfast is memorable.

Review 47：1) Had to pay an additional price for a cappuccino coffee at breakfast which is an odd thing to ask for payment for. I stay in a hotels all over the world and this was a first for me. But in particular just did not fit with everything else at the hotel. Would abolish this rule asap and just include it in breakfast. 2) We found it difficult to remove the caps from the shower and shampoo containers. 3) Lots of small black flies came into the room and were constantly a nuisance..probably a bit of fly spray would have fixed the issue.
