Review 1：AC has louder i'm so fear that will fall down breakfast has no anything to cook if you wanna cook some meals please buy your stuff when your check out please take off your own pillow too haha have no staff to cleaning your room just take care of your room

Review 4：Best location and services. I totally recommended this place. They have rooms for all types ; backpacker, couples or group travelling. The place was very clean. I love the fact that they have a shared kitchen for you to make your own breakfast. You definitely feel like home. Also the staff named Violet was very kind and helpful. Totally love this place!!!

Review 7：The only two bad things I found at 88hostel are its wifi connection and the very hot water in the morning. The wifi isn't stable at night, but it's okay during day time.
Review 8：The location is very good. It's surrounded with many shops (both restaurants and fashion shops) and the famous Hongdae walking street. Even it's located a bit distance from the subway station, there are always many people walking around in the area, so it's okay to walk to the hostel alone even at midnight. Also, Violet, the manager, is very kind and helpful. She is always willing to help guests and provide what they want. The room is great, and the price is reasonable. If you want to see the so-called Hongdae area, I would recommend this place!
Review 9：Violet, the manager of Hostel88 was really helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations for eating out in Hongdae, tried 4 or 5 out of them and we weren't disappointed.

Review 21：The next room guest is a woman in Thailand, very noisy, one night getback into bed and found a large insects, oh my God！

Review 25：my friend did complaint about the noises during our stay. From the shower noises caused by the room next to us at night, to the noises from the neighbourhood early in the morning. But if u bring the sound block ear plug with u like i did, things should be fine.

Just don't like it. -we lived on the basement floor (with windows) and there were small insects occasionally. I heard that the upper floors didn't have this problem. -no elevator! not a big problem for me as I lived in the basement and there were just a few steps; the staff were also helpful enough to help you carry them.
Review 28：-The location! I'd say The Hongik Uni area is the best location for young tourists. There are free performances and stalls on weekends and lots of fashions stores that open until late night. You just can't get bored living in this area! And don't worry, this hostel is in an alley which is not disturbed by noise. It's a ten-minute walk from the subway station and is easy to find. -The service! The staff are nice, talkative and helpful, they give useful information and suggestions, they'll even draw maps for you! Lovely staff! -Cleanliness - the room was simple, neat and clean.

Review 30：The location was really ideal for us to explore the Hongdae area. Shops were conveniently located just outside the doorstep. Violet, who is the staff-in-charge, is friendly, helpful and also very hospitable. She even stayed beyond midnight to help us check-in. She is always ready to help with all our enquiries and even provide suggestions.

Review 32：The room is not very big but is enough for 2 people. Violet is really a kind girl that we had a happy conversation during breakfast. And her mother is also very kind. The house is warm and the kitchen is lovely. The device are convenient including shower, air conditioner and icebox. There're a lot of clothing stores around 88 hostel, girls must love it. The traffic is OK, about 6~8 mins from the Hongdae metro station.

Review 34：This was our first visit to Seoul and staying at 88 Houstel was a fantastic experience. It was very clean and had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and the showers were so relaxing. A light breakfast is served each morning and there is a community kitchen to cook and hang out. Violet gave us many suggestions for different places to eat. All of them were really good. Violet helped in making our stay wonderful.

Review 36：The staffs are sooooo kind and nice.Though the room is smaller than what we think, it has all these things we need, and it's clean. There's friges in public areas, and you can cook. Every floor has its own wifi, on the top floor, there's wash machine. And the hostel’s position is convenient. All in all, we had a nice trip in Korea!!!
Review 37：I highly recommend 88 Hostel: It's located near Hongik University in a trendy, young quarter of Seoul and near to both, the Metro and the Airport Train Station. In contrast to what other travelers have been writing here, I found it easy to find the place. You'll receive detailed instructions after the booking, that are easy to follow. We got upgraded to the so called family room, which was spacious, traditionally furnitured, very clean and quit and a nice counterpoint to the life that boils on the weekends on the streets below. A lot has been written here about the breakfast. But we found we got everything we wanted: You can do your own eggs, there's toast and peanut butter and even cornflakes. Also, you have acces to a refrigerator in the breakfast room – there is a 7-11 store just around the corner, where you can stock up on everything you want to have in addition. Violet is the person in charge at 88 Hostel and she's a wonderful host, answering all questions and getting you all the info you will possibly need during your stay. I will definitely stay there again upon returning to Seoul the next time.
Review 38：nothing, really. It was quite a distance from the subway, but the way from the subway to the hostel wasn't dark. The road were filled with shops and restaurants.
Review 39：The staff who took care of us is the best. She deals with all the stuff in the hostel and helps us a lot with mostly everything. The room was very private but very personal. The food was nice as well and the rooftop should be used for bbq and stuff because the view up there was superb. The ice cream shop in front of the hostel is a must try, especially if you are a female traveller.
Review 40：The location is perfect, easy access to the airport by train or bus. 5 minutes away from Hongik university station and lots of shopping and eateries around the hostel. Well equipped kitchen and decent breakfast. Clean and cozy room. The staff helped me to reserve D.M.Z tour! Which makes my trip easy. The lady staff recommend where to eat and etc. Overall, I really enjoyed my staying at 88 Hostel and wish I could stay longer.
Review 41：Minor issues: sleeping outside the 3rd floor means you're a thin door away from common kitchen (which can get loud during breakfast). Also no elevator in the building, in case your room is on the 4th floor and you have difficulties getting around.
