Reviews for Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco All Inclusive
Review 1:The staff was awful. Im guessing the fact its all inclusive is they don't really care about service at all. Also the fact they charged my credit card twice (the full amount when we checked in) as well as the full amount plus our additional charges when we checked out. Be sure and check your credit card for all charges as the double charge to try and scam you. Avoid this place like the plague.
Review 2:The buffet restaurant was great since you could serve yourself.
Review 3:It's a really nice hotel- we enjoyed our stay. Location is awesome. Food and drinks were good too - I typically don't stay at all inclusives because of the quality of food and drink, but this one was great and the value is tremendous. Rooms are large and nice. Overall great stay.
Review 4:Guests reserving sun beds beside pool every day.
Review 5:Great location walk to town or take water taxi. Use of sister resort next door a bonus with extra restaurants to choose from.
Review 6:This was the first all inclusive place I have been to where you have to sign a receipt every time you get a drink, meal, etc. Felt like I was doing an expense report...the last thing I want on my vacation. I heard that many other places are like this now, but it was a major hassle and annoying. The employees are always looking to upsell you with something not included in your all-inclusive plan. It starts the minute you check in and they send you to their "concierge desk". Their only goal is to try to entice you to some free event with a spa bonus etc. Once you dodge that you go to a restaurant where they try and get you to purachse a bottle of wine, champagne, a premium entree, etc. Wasnt a huge deal, but I found it quite annoying. For theser two reasons, I probably would not return.
Review 7:Loved the resort, the food, the pool, the beach, and the location.
Review 8:There was some miscommunications with bookings and activities. The all inclusive is great and very worth the cost. the staff should do a better job of telling you what is and isn't included. In all it was an A+ trip.
Review 9:Location, facility, food, beach, and just about every staff member was wonderful.
Review 10:Sometimes it feels like if you ARE the all-inclusive you get ignored. The sushi bar was this way. 1.5 hours to be served, with no crowd. SOME of the bartenders and beach staff just ignore you, but i just found the good ones and stayed by them. Beds too small for two adults. Food was not "great," but very doable for a week.
Review 11:I most enjoyed the all-inclusive option, beachfront location, close to activities, and most staff members.
Review 12:I did not like that you had to sign a ticket every time u ate drank etc when we had the bracelets for all inclusive . It became a nuisance when they were chasing you down .
Review 13:Staff was wonderful! Especially Monica at breakfast, and Jesus, Jose, and Juan who served us poolside and kept the fun rolling! Also, all food and drinks were delicious!
Review 14:The other restaurant Las Palomas? Was average, food was bad and a long wait. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety but was not inviting as there were a lot of flies.
Review 15:The staff were usually great. Gilberto at Cilantro was fantastic as was Juan around the pool area. We made reservations every night for dinner so had no trouble getting a table. Cilantro was the best atmosphere and food by far.
Review 16:Rooms are extremely outdated with roaches and bugs around the property. Appliances are outdated and not functioning .AC stopped working twice making the room humid and musky. Power went out everyday. All they want you to do is sign up for time share presentation. Location of the hotel is the only good thing. We ate at PB rose restaurants and they were great. I will not return to this property.
Review 17:Food, location and friendly service
Review 18:Our very first day within an hour of arriving we went to the pool sidebar for lunch and drinks. Had poor service, but my husband asked for themanager and he personally waited on us and apologized many times. Neverhad bad service again!
Review 19:Service was excellent. Great view from our room. Room service wastop notch!!
Review 20:Drunk young people in the pool during weekend. Probably bachelor parties. Some staff were really nice, but others not at all
Review 21:Very good food in the restaurants
Review 22:In contrast with other all inclusive hotels where you only need to show your bracelet, here you have to check in and ask for check later. Check has tipping area and some workers are very "begging" of tips. Service is S L O W (and i tipped all the time).
Review 23:Nice location, 20 minutes walk away from central Cabos and just next to the beach. Pretty nice swimming pool and great view of the Ocean. Clean good middle shelf alcohol.
Review 24:Has nothing to do with the hotel... But there seem to be very limited rules in regards to smoking everywhere. Great if you smoke... Not so great if you're a non- smoker.
Review 25:Comfortable and very relaxing.
Review 26:Tiny bathroom/bathtub, 24 hour room service menu was limited (we wanted breakfast before fishing, but settled for burgers), beds were small, margaritas were not fresh (premade from a large jug).
Review 27:The service was impeccable, the food was so good that even when we were off property, we would come back to eat because the restaurants had such good food and service. everything on the property was clean, from the rooms to the grounds.
Review 28:Some restaurant staff did not communicate restaurant reservation policies to us, and there were a couple of unhappy situations for my husband and I because we wanted to dine at certain establishments but could not. Such reservation policies (such as for the hotel's popular theme nights) should be made clearer to avoid disappointing situations.
Review 29:The hotel had the most perfect views of Land's End and I was pretty much happy to spend my entire vacation lazing around in the resort.
Review 30:The bed and the couch were horribly uncomfortable. Clinantro was the best restaurant but unfortunately they did not have menu items that varied daily. For 3 days it was fine but for a longer stay it would have been a problem. In general the meals were great, but if you ask for butter with the less than desirable bread, you get margarine. I don't eat margarine.
Review 31:The location on Medano Beach within walking distance to Cabo downtown was excellent. The service, cleanliness and quality of the food and amenities was also excellent. I visited the PB Rose spa and my technician, Cristina, gave the best stress relief massage I have ever had. The pool is wonderful.
Review 32:Loved the facility, loved the "all inclusive" program, loved the service, food and drinks, and especially LOVED the restaurant waiter Raul!!!! He made the trip extra special for us! We will come back next summer for sure!
Review 33:We did not Like the pool service at all! Gerardo the pool waiter was rude the second we got there. then when we tried to get someone else to help us they told us we were not in their section. all in all the pool service was terrible!!! we ended up going to the Rose for much better service.
Review 34:we all liked our rooms and the service we received there.
Review 35:the staff was not always knowledgeable. service was a little bit slow.
Review 36:I loved the friendliness of the staff and the location. great location and accessibility to the other resorts.
Review 37:We booked the all inclusive package and there was no buffet, which I usually don't mind but when we ordered food we had to wait for at least 45min to arrive. For breakfast its quite a long time. We didn't use the pool because it was dirty and the hotel gym was a joke as well. Booking.com says its a 5 star hotel. I would say it would come close to 3 stars! We paid way too much for what it was. I would not recommend the hotel and I wouldn't stay there again.
Review 38:The lobby smelled like Lavender. It was nice at first; but gave me a huge headache after standing in the lobby for 30 minutes on check in. It was way too strong! I just walked through the rest of my visit and did not linger.
Review 39:Loved the location of the resort - right on the beach with a beautiful view of the Arch !! Great wait staff by the pool. Nice room with a large living area w/ a sofa bed and chairs. Table and chairs for eating. TV's in both rooms. Plenty of closet and drawer space for clothes. And 24 hour Room Service !
Review 40:Service was hit or miss. Ricardo was amazing but other servers had bad attitudes and seemed unhappy.
Review 41:Walking distance to downtown, lovely beach, ala carte restaurants were pretty good. All the rooms come with double beds but you can ask that they push them together for you.
Review 42:Food often cold or undercooked, slow service, place getting shabby, surrounding area outside of hotels suck!!!!
Review 43:Good beachfront hotel, close walk to town, good pool
Review 44:The pool and beach service was horrible, I never did get food or drinks by the pool or beach unless I got up and got it myself.
Review 45:The location was perfect, great beach, very close to town and activities. The staff for the most part were very hard workers, and kept everything immaculate.
Review 46:no wi fi or cell service in room. suite was extremely small, more like a standard room.
Review 47:staff was great!! Hotel was clean and food was adequate. location was superb!
Review 48:Found this hotel online and absolutely fell in love with it! The staff is amazing the food delicious, and impeccably clean, my kids didn't want to leave! Could have done without the merchants hounding you at the beach to purchase, but in a crazy way it added to charm! Our favorite bartender Pedro made our trip! Live a smaller hotel!
Review 49:We LOVE everything the staff, bar tenders, waiters, everyone are so nice and generous, we really appreciate the hard work they did... Thank you so much to Monica for looking out for us at the breakfast buffet, Captain Josue, Marcela for making delicious huevos rancheros,, Gustavo excelent waiter, Alma she always welcome everyone with a friendly smile, Carlos from front desk, Elizabeth from the bar, and franky,, we stayed from 03/28 to 04/02 room 324 nice view,, but unfortunately we can't remember the name of the housekeeper but she also did a wonderful work!... Thank you everyone.. See ya'll next year ;)
Review 50:A lot of the food arrived at our table cold.
Review 51:We had a great vacation! Beautiful resort, friendly staff! A waiter named David took great care of us. Will miss seeing him!
Review 52:Great location and view, food more than expected, friendly staff. Checked the other sister Hotels Rose and Sunset which are much bigger, but I prefer more on this Blanco as its more quiet, front line to the beach and gives better view from each room.
Review 53:When we arrived our room was not available. They moved us to another property for 2 nights, then back for 2 nights. Their error and they made up for it!
Review 54:All inclusive food was amazing! Drinks just OK.
Review 55:The wifi was lacking a bit (worked best on our patio, with proximity to Cilantro's bar poolside) and the drinks were a bit tricky to order. Some strong, some very weak. Just be patient!
Review 56:The positioning of the resort was better than others to the East and West, with a view of the harbor and Lover's beach. The staff was amazing and attentive, though service is slower (welcome to Mexico). Beautiful grounds, atmosphere, assistance, rooms...
Review 57:Nothing
Review 58:The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous in every way. From our check in with Andres to our departure and every employee during our stay was helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to be around.
Review 59:Service was a little slower than I would have liked, especially waiting 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the morning. Otherwise, I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Review 60:The beach was gorgeous with plenty of available loungers. (The pool filled up early.) Bar had a great variety of included adult beverages, the rooms were big and comfortable, and the food at Cilantro was delish!
Review 61:No Wi Fi in the Rooms. Only in the Lobby. The Lobby could use a some remodeling. Also the server was down out entire stay, the credit card machines were down in the hotel, we were forced to walk to the sister hotel "Rose" to book anything with my credit card. Also the prices in the Deli on property are some of the highest prices Ive ever seen In my life, and I travel all over the world. Prices are way to high in the deli.
Review 62:Property is extremely well kept. Very Clean. Friendly staff. Great Location. The property felt very Exclusive. We enjoyed ourselves.
Review 63:Everything was too expensive. Went to get a snack, bag of potato chips, small can of almonds, payday candy bar - $21 US dollars. We are not going back.
Review 64:nothing.
Review 65:My partner and i did the all inclusive and loved it. Value for money, great location and other sister resorts to make use of. All with beautiful views. Highly recommended.
Review 66:Great location right on the beach and a short stroll to all the restaurants downtown. The staff were all lovely, from the friendliness of the restaurant staff to the helpfulness of the front desk staff who consistently went beyond what I would have expected in order to assist us. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco again.
Review 67:The beach is tempting but not for swimming. It was difficult to manage parking when we first arrived.
Review 68:Many of the complaints that I read on other reviews were not substantiated. The food and service were fine. Some of the meals were not to our liking, but there was plenty of variety. We had a room with a view of the ocean and did not have to upgrade.
Review 69:Few parking spots for the size of the property. Common area PCs were broken.
Review 70:Close to downtown, courteous service, and clean facilities. Free wifi everywhere!
Review 71:Small suites, sitting area uncomfortable with plastic cushions for seating. If air conditioner was not run on high and super cold then condensation would build to the point where our room was soaking wet from floor to ceiling and mirrors fogged up. Left the hotel after the 1st night and booked in somewhere else for the remainder of our Cabo trip.
Review 72:Staff seemed to expect tipping on all service even though the all inclusive clearly stated service was included; however the hotel stated to us that additional tipping permitted at our discretion.
Review 73:Suite with a view, and the all inclusive "a la carte" with breakfast buffet.
Review 74:In general, I think this hotel is probably great for 20-somethings who are OK with mediocre food, want a good location, and who will sacrifice a little bit on cleanliness. That said, I wouldn't stay here again, nor would I recommend it. I thought the rooms felt authentic, but they also felt old and could use some updating. Overall, the quality of the food was really poor. Not only were most items pretty bad at all of the restaurants, but the choices at each restaurant were also lacking. Perhaps most importantly, the number of restaurants and options available at Pueblo Bonito Blanco and its sister resorts was grossly overstated. There were really four restaurants to choose from: one was a buffet at Rose (really bad), the other was an Italian restaurant at Rose where even all-inclusive members had a to pay a fee, and the other two were at Blanco and choices were severely limited. At one restaurant at Blanco, we opted for "shrimp night," not knowing full detail on what that entailed. Turns out it meant shrimp fajitas or grilled shrimp and nothing else. No other options! Also, for an appetizer I asked our waiter for chips and guacamole, which is everywhere on the premises. But our waiter said this restaurant didn't have any, which didn't make sense because one kitchen essentially serves all restaurants. I tried another waiter to see if I could get chips and he said "no problem," so it was frustrating when the staff either wasn't fully honest or wasn't willing to check. Guest services were also pretty poor. We ordered room service two nights and both nights it took 1+ hour for delivery. After a 30-minute wait, we called to check on the status. The man at the front desk said the kitchen was busy and the food was on its way. When we called back 20 minutes later, he said they mixed up our order. When we called 20minutes after that, he said it was on its way.
Review 75:I loved the location. This hotel is on the beach, so jumping in the ocean was just steps away from sunbathing by the pool. I also liked a lot of the staff. Rodrigo who runs activities, Martin, Hugo, Omar--they were all wonderful. Many of them went out of their way to ensure we were having fun and felt special. Many of them also went out of their way to learn our names and our drink orders! We were very grateful for that service.
Review 76:They make you sign for everything, since it's all inclusive it makes it seem like they might bill you later. No swim up bar and very slow bar service
Review 77:Mice room
Review 78:The food was average with a lot of repeated items. We would definitely suggest making reservations at the finer restaurant (located at the Rose) for excellent service and dinner.
Review 79:Our room (Luxury Suite) was great with beautiful views and very peaceful.
Review 80:Service was excellent and the food was very good for the price. Good selection and rooms were all really nice. Martin was an excellent and patient bartender.
