Motel The St James Premium Accommodation sells fast on our site. Located in the tranquil alpine village of Hanmer Springs, The St James Premium Accommodation is 5 minutes’ walk from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, restaurants and shops. It offers apartments with free Wi-Fi, a balcony or patio and luxury bathrooms with under floor heating.
Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains. All accommodation offers double-glazed windows, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and an iPod docking station. Most accommodation features a spa bath. Two suites feature a gas fireplace.

Review 1：Didn't appreciate being asked to pay before checking in; one poor easy chair in room;, small bed no lift to first floor, hard for elderly people with suitcases; lots of "don't" notices in the room.

Review 3：I think the proprietors have this idea that you are of a certain group staying at their accomodation. I have stayed at 4 and 4 1/2 star that would be of equal standards and affordable as well. Was overall a nice stay but don't think I will stay again.

There is a full kitchen. Patio with a view. WiFi works very well. Pride of ownership is broadly in evidence. This level of service and comfort is luxurious. Value is very high.

Review 11：We rented a one bed apartment for kids which was ideal as had large living room and kitchen area so we breakfasted there and a king size studio for us. Extremely comfortable and clean and friendly. Wished booked more than one night!great location and wish had had time to explore local shops and not just the springs.

Review 15：Location is excellent, easy walk to town, and the facilities are bright, spacious and modern, with every implement on hand if you wanted to create something in the kitchen, but with a great selection of restaurants and bars/cafes only minutes walk away, why bother? Great quality linen and an excellent bed, very comfortable overall.

The owners were more than helpful and very sincere in wishing to ensure their guests have an amazing stay in Hanmer. Pool towels are also provided free for use which is a bonus. Review 60：I was very happy with my choice of accomodation! - staff were very friendly - room was immaculate - very close to the shops and pools - I didn't cook but after looking through the cupboards it would be a great place to stay if you wanted to. Amazing quality of kitchen utensils and cooking equipment, and great to see a dishwasher and a decent hairdryer ( all you women out there would understand ) haha! Will be staying again! :)

Review 87：We booked 3 night stay here in a studio room. On arrival found the property on the outside to be extremely clean and well maintained. The personal service from Rae was outstanding from the check in process to being personally shown the room and how the heating works, lights etc. The studio is extremely well equipped and set out, a lot of thought has gone into the design, layout, furniture and equipment. The curtains are fantastic, hard to tell if it's day or night and under floor heating is amazing. The service from Rae and Paul is outstanding and on our next visit to Hanmer we will be back to The St James. Best points for The St James personal service, any request no issue, free wifi, free self serve laundry's and the daily service better then a 5 star international hotel!
