Review 1：Breakfast was lousy no choice what so ever. Light bulbs broken loose cables sockets hanging off and a building site outside bedroom

We really felt comfortable! The room was well-cleaned, but the bathroom needs some more attention as described the water starts to distroy the clean image.

Review 13：We went to Leiria for the 'Entremuralhas, gothic festival in Aug.' the hotel was easy to find well located, everything within walking distance. The staff was amazing! The hotel is all renewed from the inside. The bed was new and very comfortable. The toilet was sparkling clean and modern. The couple in charge of the hotel were very helpful and sympathetic. I will definitely return and would recommend to anyone!
Review 14：This hotel was clean and quiet and close to the river and the old town. The owners were very welcoming and while their English was limited we still managed to communicate OK. They provided us with a good breakfast each morning and a friendly smile whenever we saw them.
Review 15：Easy walking to places of interest. We also used Lieria as a base to visit Nazare, Alcobaca, Batalha by bus and the hotel was a five minute walk. Our room had a great view of the castle and an unexpected bonus of a fireworks display with the castle as a backdrop.
Review 16：You may face a language barrier here since the most of the staff members do not speak English. If I hadn't studied Spanish, this would have been a slight problem.

The remote control for the air conditioning was missing and since the man didn't speak English, we didn't have the energy to go and complain about it. So the room was quite warm. In the evening the wifi didn't work at all but in the morning it was working. No hairdryer. Very basic breakfast (as in all the hotels we stayed at in Portugal).

The parking is convenient, even though the road to the hotel is quite steep.

Very central, just a few minutes walk to everything. Great value, includes breakfast. The energetic, cheerful senhora who manged the breakfast is very nice - will offer to make toasts (even crepes one day) in addition to what is laid out (coffee/tea, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, jam/butter, fresh fruits). They speak English.
