Review 1：My son got married last week. They can't go on a honeymoon yet due to wk commitments so we treated them to a long weekend here. PERFECT was their feedback. We've stayed here before too and it was great.

Review 2：Nothing really bad about this place. Toiletries could be a little better. But that's not something I'd worry over. They are perfectly good enough :)

Review 6：Good space and nice access to outside (we had a three person ground floor room). Comfortable bed, simple but adequate kitchenette and spacious bathroom. Car parked right outside so easy access.

Review 7：Very comfortable accommodation on the edge of the resort. Kindly, helpful staff who let us into our room early. This allowed us to go for a ramble round Hanmer 's forests - the staff gave us various ideas for where to go. It was an easy 15 minutes walk up to the town centre where there were Spa pools, restaurants, a store and ATM. Our room was large and the bed comfortable, and we did enjoy our spa pool! The room was adequately equipped for moteliers wanting to heat up microwave food but we chose to go to the motel's 5 Stags restaurant. Staff in here were friendly and served us well-cooked food that could be classed as good pub grub. Love it! The breakfast choice was extensive, but not available on Monday mornings - so we went to our prefered cafe-bar in town.

Review 10：The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was large clean and tidy. We had free wi-fi and the restaurant was right on our doorstep. Wouldstay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

Review 11：Not really bad but while they offer wifi it was very difficult to set up anywhere near a power point. Perhaps an extension cord would help.

Review 13：The guestroom was large, and the bathroom was also generous in size with a Jacuzzi bathtub. Also we had a good sized balcony with views out to the local mountain ranges, so the room accommodation was all very nice. There was a good restaurant right next door, which was very convenient on our first night. The lady on the desk when we arrived was most helpful with tips on where to go and what to do while in Hanmer.

We received a free room upgrade and the lady who helped me check in was very nice and treated me as a friend. I highly recommend this place to stay its only a couple minute's walk from the hot pools and they have their own restaurant it was just very nice so thank you very much, We will be back soon :D

Review 61：The fact that this is a little out of town so was very peaceful, but had a full restaurant next door so did not have to get in car for evening meals.When I booked there were no spa bath units available, but on arrival they had up graded us to a unit with a bath.

Review 62：During our overnight stay we experienced an early wake up call with the alarm soundings. Great effort with the evacuation and quick resolution which enabled us to get back to our warm beds.

Great views (not all units automatically are) On the first day we were serviced in the afternoon- staff very accommodating to service us in mornings for future stays when we requested this. Next to restaurant. Loved the comfortable king bed, the spa bath - and probably best shower (good water pressure and large) we have had in a motel.

Review 98：The heating only lasted 20 minutes on, and therefore, given that we were in May -cold weather- we had to stand from the bed during all night to put it on. The lodge was not full at all and no flexibility was given for check out. In my reservation -standard studio- a kitchenette was included and given the price I expected a hotplate to cook some fish we had bought.

Review 99：Loved my warm welcome, nothing was too much of a problem for the very friendly staff. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the décor tasteful. The added bonus are delightful views. Everyday the room was cleaned and replenished. The Five Stags restaurant next to the Motel served amazingly good and hearty food and it was just a 30 second walk away.

Review 105：Penny and Mike were so welcoming and Penny personally carried my luggage in from my car. Was only on my arrival when Penny asked where I was joining my friends for tea and unbeknown to me when I made the booking to stay that the restaurant was on location The Staggs Restaurant, and just across from my room. I saw Penny when I was leaving to go back to my room after dinner and she once again went out her way to unlock my room and turn the lights on for me. Was fantastic service and perfect hosts.

Review 109：Nice lcd tv unfortunately only 4 channels, many other places at simular price have the Sky 50 channel package, single bed extremely soft, no heatpump and even room heater has a timer so after an hour or so cuts out would not be nice during the colder months of winter.

Review 111：It looked like someone had ripped a shelf off over the bed. Screw holes along the whole wall. The soap/shampoo holder in the shower was missing. The double sided tape was still there where it was meant to be. No view from the room apart from the car park.
