Review 1：Very weird lighting system - you can't turn off ceiling light without turning off bedroom light and sockets which made impossible to charge phone on a nightstand. Hotel locks deposit about x1.2 of your entire stay price, and upon checkout charges you for your stay, so you will have to wait 7-10 days to get your money back! No turndown service which is a must for 5 stars.

Review 2：Location - close to shops and everything, lounge access throughout the day. Views from club floors. KAL limousine bus right at the door. Quite nice breakfast.

Review 3：At the same time, some of the concierge staff - trainee are not knowledgeable and will not able to provide good advice. Most importantly, in the service industry, the staff must always be patient, warmth, friendly at all times to put in a big smile. One or two staff feels unhappy as it shows on their face when asking for too questions for advice.

Review 5：1)Chamber maids are not doing their best in observing cleanliness & tidiness. During our stay, there were >3 times that we found pubic hair on the toilet seats or arms of the washlet w.c. Also often the covers of shampoo & body wash bottles were left open, exactly how it was after our shower. 2) When we checked out the first time to go to the ski resort, we passed our 4 big luggages to yr concierge. When our taxi came he helped load our luggages into the taxi. However to our dismay he only loaded 3!!! Fortunately we hadn't gone too far. Imagine if we realised only upon arrival after a 3hour journey to High1 ski resort. Or worst what if the bag went missing or stolen? Anyway when we returned from the ski resort 3 days later & checked in again at Lotte, we expected an apology of some sort or perhaps an upgrade in rooms or free buffet breakfast but instead we were given the worst rooms, right outside the lifts, it was very noisy.

Review 6：Staff at Lobby were mostly friendly, proficient in English, efficient & eloquent. In particular Christina at the help desk who went above call of duty to assist us to secure transportation to the ski resort.

Review 7：Buffet was a bit limited, maybe bad luck but people in other rooms were noisy in early hours so it was difficult to sleep. Rooms look a little dated for the rating.

Review 18：The staff at check in were brilliant. I wish to qualify that, the one particular staff member was very polite, courteous and superbly helpful. Unfortuntely one does not always encounter such decency and 'niceness,' simple humanity in, well, 'a certain city.' Honestly I was quite surprised, in the best sense of the word. The worker also had a very good sense of humour. Yes, I fully realise that hotel workers never actually like their guests but what I mean is, the staff here actually make you feel human. It's rare.

Review 23：Concierge gave wrong direction re the Resraurant that we wished to go so we were walking in circles and still couldn't find it. Even though we indicated that we didn't want to be disturbed in the morning, a maid knocked n woke us. Another day at 5am, a guest gave us a rude shock by knocking very loudly on our door.

Review 27：1) over-charged (about 28% more ) my stay: I stayed one night at the rate of W544,500 per night but when I checked my credit card transaction a few days later, I was charged W700,000 on my credit card. When I rang back to the hotel, instead of an apology, the staff (Front desk) I spoke to insisted that I was only charged W544,500. I now have to charge back my credit card :( - what a nuisance. 2) Considering the cost of the breakfast, Breakfast menu was not up to 5 star rating except for the coffee. 3) Coffee at the lobby - it costs about $25 Australian for a cup of coffee. 4) No place to sit and wait for guests at the lobby.

Review 29：-the subway station is on a line where sometimes it is easier to just take a cab -pillow was a little soft -its pricey. sure its a nice hotel but I'm not sure if it is quite worth that much money.I'd prbly still come back though.

On the day we actually arrived at about 9:00 am, since we cannot get an early check in, we just requested that they check us in and we will just go back for the keys once the rooms are ready.They say that they cannot do that as the system does not allow it, that means we will have to go back again and line up and find out if the rooms are ready and start the check in process once more , instead of simply going back and getting our keys once the rooms are ready, which other hotels even lower in category have in their system

Review 43：Yebasayooo!! The location is brilliant, central Seoul, close to variety of traditional markets and designer stores, all facilities in and nearby the hotel. Close to the major tourist sights like the palaces. Easy to go around Seoul from this location.

Review 44：I really don't understand the receptionist who told me the rooms are same in the new wing compare with main wing. But the rooms was not good luxury grade.I have to change room to the main wing at the second night. Or did the receptionist gave me the lower grade room at the first night?

Review 45：I wish the twin beds room's beds are bigger for parents with 2 children. Very tide for one parent plus one child to sleep in a single bed. By the way, this is the 4th time to stay in this hotel, for the same rates, the main wing rooms have much better facilities in the room than the new wing's.

In the Italian restaurant I did not understand why I can't order from the menue while seated in lobby side area! On my day of departure one person refused to help me call Emirates air to find out about the car pick up and another did. Also while waitin for the car we though of having something to eat at the restaurant near the water fall ordered fruits but it did not arrive!

Review 104：The room description is absolute 100% different than what you see on booking & other website. Don't be fooled by picture as far as room description, also I had a club room which's the executive club should made for it, but I noticed at the check out that they charged me for the breakfast. Review 106：We did not get a 5* feeling at this hotel at all. The staff is friendly but their English is bad. The bar needs a good bar keeper as it now looks like a dead place. The dinner buffet offers a variety of foods but a lot of the food was cold at the time we arrived. Also it was greatly overpriced (99.000 won pp), it closed too early (10pm) and paying extra for sparkling water in a 5* hotel is just insane. Concerning the facilities the swimming pool is divided half hotel guests half club members which doesn't do very good to the experience and their rest area doesn't offer any wellness-related snacks (tea, nuts, dried fruits) which you would definitely expect. They do offer free bottled water. To conclude, I can say this hotel might be good for a business trip but not at all for a city trip or holiday.

Review 107：We had a clean hotel room, the hotel is located right in the city center and directly at subway line 2 (inner circle line, very good connection). Their breakfast buffet offers a lot but you'll pay 65.000 won for it.
