Review 1：The room we had was lovely and we picked a room with a fan. There wasn't anything I didn't like about Peacock Villa but on really humid nights the fan wasn't quite strong enough to keep the room cool. It might be an idea to invest in a couple of portable ones that can be used when the temperature/humidity is high.

Review 2：The staff at Peacock Villa are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they will do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. In a great quiet location, not far from the beach.

Review 4：The most beautiful villa I've seen in Mirissa! Staff is polite and helpful. A lot of animals and birds are on the villa. Every evening we heard birds songs, once a group of monkeys visited our balcony. Boat trip was wonderful. So we received a big variety of positive emotions and enjoyed every moment of being there!

Review 7：We had a beautiful downstairs room, fully equipped and with strong wifi. This place is gorgeous, tiny and will appeal to those who like top quality locally owned places to stay.

Review 8：The best accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. The view from the balcony to the nature was amazing. With all the voices comming from the peacocks and birds make you feel like somewhere in the national park, wow. You do not need any tv/radio, just sit on the balcony listen and relax. The room is very nice furnished, looks like very new bed, furnishing, etc, everything what you need was there. You can use the shortcut to the beach what was about 5 minutes to the Mirissa beach. They do not serve breakfast, but it was not needed, as all arround are many possibilites of restaurants and good food choices. You will love it!

Review 11：Quite a few insects at evening and night due to location near river, but mosquito nets were good and worked well.

Review 12：Rooms are lovely with a large private balcony. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Location is good, though quite dark at night (a tuk-tuk back from the beach shouldn't cost very much).

Review 13：Located only few minutes walk from the beach, you can enjoy the quietness and listen to the nature around. Charindu, who ran the Peacock Villa, was great: always nice, smiling, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Don't get fooled by the two stars - this place offers really a spacey room with great comfort and facilities. And there are peacocks around the villa, just another plus :) Tip - right opposite of the villa is also a spice grinding mill, where you can buy all kinds of spices directly from the source.
