Review 1：Bathroom was smelly and not proper ventilation ! There is no mini bar, and I had to perchase water ! There was no electric kettle , glass or cup in the room.

Review 4：The hotel was great. Lovely and clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. I'm a coeliac so they had gluten free cereal and bread for me and I didn't even have to ask, once I gave them my room number they took over the gluten free food to me. Very close to santuary.

Review 5：Bad explanation on booking, we ended up not having breakfast included that we bought on the day, not telling us that we needed to upgrade for a bigger room because the extra bed didn't fit, when we requested in advance

Review 8：First its very near to the Santuario. The staff are very helpful and excellent, multi lingual. Breakfast is very good lots of choice of food. I will always recommend it to everyone. I will choose the same hotel when I return to Fatima. Its a great value for money.

Review 9：One of the strange things I experienced is, there is an extra charge for using the computer. Most of the Hotels do have a computer for visitors to access free of charge. It was a strange thing to me. I think, Avenedia should provide computers free of charge.

Review 16：I like everything about this hotel - the room is modern and very clean, the bathroom is beautiful and very clean, the breakfast is excellent and, the best thing is the price. And the wifi works beautifully!!!!! I had reservations for 2 nights but could only stay one because my place was delayed - still, the staff was willing to give me an extra night, which I was not able to accept. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and I will be back and recommend it to everyone.

Review 30：The ambience of the hotel is very comforting. Walls of the hotel are decorated with stylish Belgian tapestry, and religious paintings. The rooms are fresh and clean. There is no bad smell of bleach or cigarettes like in other hotel we had been to. The breakfast is superb, plenty of food with big selection verity, excellent coffee. The hotel is very good value for the money. We recommend it.

Review 38：As I am studying tourism, I have discovered here the best example of theory in practice! Personal of hotel, people are very ready to help, they are disponible in every moment. They know You language- english, spanish, italian, and perhaps and the more! I have heard this ones during my stay there. Hotel is well equiped with everything you need. And it is very relaxing. Food is tasty and rich, and the traditicional portuguese 'pasties' for breakfast is possible to describe just like this: ''mmmm". Hotel is located very near to Sanctuary, and the Post office is two minutes walk! Finally-great experience, I recommend - discover it!

Review 49：I did not like the fact that we had to purchase tea in the evening. Tea and utensils should have been provided for in the rooms. There was no provision of iron and ironing board in the room. Other than that, it was a decent hotel.

Review 53：As must as I hate to mention this, the showers where very bad. It was impossible to use the mixer taps. I wouldn't like to be a size 20, as they where very small. Also went we where leaving, we where waiting for the lift. The door to one of the rooms we where using was open and we where watching the maides changing the bed. When they folded the duvet with the cover my sister and her husband was using for the three nights. All they changed was the fitted and flat sheets. I have to admit I was appuled, as the duvet cover was not changed for new guests. And I do wonder, how often they are changed?

Review 54：We had two romms, one double, and one triple room booked with walk in showers. When we arrived, we where told the had no triple room with a walk in shower. The receptionist was amazing. She gave us two double rooms with walk in showers, with no extra cost.

Review 66：I did not have any problems regarding the hotel. Just be prepared to wake up early as bells and messes of the sanctuary looms through the wall from early morning on certain days.

Review 69：The place is located 5 min walk from the Sanctuary. Our rooms were in an annex to the hotel, not in the main building. Each room could accomodate from 3-5 people. They were big, clean and equipped with a small kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but good. The offer lunch and diner for 15€. We did not eat our meals (other than breakfast) there, since there are several restaurants nearby.

Review 72：The hotel would have been a good value. However, I can't get past the fact that the hotel staff gave me incorrect information. The signs for the parking just outside the hotel where very confusing. I parked our car outside but wanted to make sure that I was parked okay. So, I went into the hotel staff to ask if I was okay. They assured me that I was. The next morning I end up with a parking ticket costing me 60 Euros and the hotel staff saying they could do nothing about it. I left my car parked there based on what they told me. Relying on their advice ended up costing me more money that the cost of the room. Not a happy traveler. This put a real dapper on what could have been a great visit to Fatima.
