Reviews for Hotel Leiriense
Review 1:Very comfortable bed, nice size room, totally quiet at night. Well fitted bathroom with shower and excellent hot water. Just 5 minutes from the bus station. The route to the castle begins 1 block away. Our 3 night stay was perfect.
Review 2:Some of the buildings in the town center are abandoned and need renovation.
Review 3:Nice hotel in a very characteristic historical building. Spot on in the center of the town square. Great wifi and atmosphere.
Review 4:A very central family run hotel, with typical Portuguese tiles (azulejos) and furniture. Close to the bus station which was very important in our case. And really cheap!
Review 5:The hotel was very well located in the centre of town, but also quiet. Leiria is a good base for other sites in this region, so the hotel's proximity to the bus station was very handy.
Review 6:Could not connect to wifi on the second floor. I suggest to have a breakfast outside as it isnt very satisfying.
Review 7:We were well received and attended. Rooms were clean and confortable. Were given a room with the view as requested for no extra charge. Thank you!
Review 8:One has to ask the front desk to open the door every time and it took a few minutes; elevator fits you and a piece of luggage; breakfast not included; a very small room in a simple building but a bit pretentious for the price asked.
Review 9:It's near the bus station and pretty central to everything.
Review 10:Quite difficult to find, even with a map. The names of the streets on the wall signs didn't seem to match those on either our paper map or Google maps.
Review 11:Small, tidy, plain room with a tiny balcony and a view of the castle. Fine for a night. Just off a large square with cafes and bars all around. Parking quite sparse nearby but easy enough within a few minutes walk.
Review 12:We paid more for the room than what the confirmation said (only 3 euros more per night.... but still) which was a bit annoying. In retrospect, I should have asked why but at the time I was very tired so just went along with it.
Review 13:Great location, easy to find.
Review 14:The manager was helpful in shifting me to a quieter room, also made hot water for me to have tea in the evening. The place was spotless. Breakfast on the basic side but altogether excellent for the price.
Review 15:Owner old and miserable and not very welcoming with a general lack of personality. Breakfasts not worth the extra money. You have to hand in your key each time you leave the building and to gain entry you need to buzz and wait to be allowed back which is frustrating when no one is manning the reception and you are left waiting.
Review 16:Rooms a fair size for the price and clean enough till you look under the bed. Good location. Decent amount of TV channels.
Review 17:- Very clean - Comfy - it has a certain family business touch, like the owners really care that everything is clean and tidy, its just very pleasant to stay there
Review 18:The owner is very friendly and helpful. The location in the middle of the city is amazing and unique. Use parking garage nearby, do not try to drive through the narrow streets.
Review 19:Bad smell in the bath.

Review 33:Weak WiFi signal
Review 34:Location
Review 35:The location was perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast was nice and so were the owners.
Review 36:So secure I couldn't get in.
Review 37:Location,security.
Review 38:I would have liked another towel and the "normal" procedure of cleaning the room was missing. I was out late so I had wanted to put a "do not disturb" sign on my door as to not be woken in the morning. But I was not woken as no one came to clean. My room wasn't dirty but a dry towel would have been nice.
Review 39:The location was excellent and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure.
Review 40:I had to leave to soon.
Review 41:Ilsa is a helpful hostess. The location is perfect. This place is extremely colorful and different and funky. Loads of character.
