Review 1:Parking not included. We had to pay but there was no spot left on the second day due to many vehicles without the parking permit. The gym was closed due to vandalism.

Review 3:If you get an apartment with the front view and that would be a view of empty lot of un develop area. If you get an apartment has a back or side view, that would be the station railway. Horrible view but this apartments close to Marina attractions.

Review 5:The room was very dusty - you can see a layer of dust on the tables and furnitures. Ended up hurting my back trying to sit on the executive chair not knowing one caster is missing. Entrance to the room and bathroom have watermarks.
Review 6:Close to harbour and restaurants also close proximity to where daughter lives. We like to spend our leisure time around the harbour with it's scenic walks and good food without having to drive.
Review 7:Bathroom can be a little dangerous, as the water from the shower can cover the whole bathroom.

Review 9:Re: Room 511 1. The A/C does not stay on overnight or for extended times during the day. Don't know if this is a time clock issue or a fault. Temp was set at 21 and therefore should not be a problem. If the system is a Daikin VRV system then it needs to be commissioned by a Daikin technician. A general refrig mech does not necessarily know the comm. procedure for these types of system. 2. We paid by direct transfer before leaving Melb but your office had no record of payment even though I forwarded receipt of payment by email at transfer time. Lucky I printed a copy and had it with me as your office would not let us in without proof of payment. Girls at reception faxed my copy to your office. Your problem, not mine, but made to be mine. 3. We weren't aware that your apts were a part of Chifley. When I mentioned this to your staff I was told that there would have been instructions outlining this. Have now checked previous emails and no mention of Chifley. The address given to us was 14 Honeysuckle Drive however the Chifley reception address is in Settlement Lane and signed as Chifley Apt. which we were not looking for.
Review 10:Regardless of my 'Didn't Like' comments the apartment was a good apartment, well located and now that I know how your system works would happily book again as long as A/C works.
Review 11:The only thing we didn't like was that it wasn't clear where it was. There was no sign saying Honeysuckle Apartments anywhere and it was quite confusing. Plus, when we arrived, nothing had been organised and the staff didn't know we were even staying there.
Review 12:It was clean, up to date decor, comfy bed and heaps of room. Absolutely loved it and will be staying there again.
Review 13:The noise of a nighttime was disrupting. The bedroom was so narrow that the foot of the bed was only about 30cm from the wall meaning Yu had to shuffle sideways to go around it.

Review 15:There seemed to be some confusion with Honeysuckle Apartments (who we booked through) vs Chifley Apartments (where we were actually located). We even had difficulty finding it and had to call - the address given was different to where it actually was. The apartment was modern but didn't have that hotel clean feeling you'd expect, especially when we'd paid over $200 per night! I just didn't think it was value for money. I'd stay there again, but not at that price!

Review 27:I was called on the Friday night to say there was trouble with my booking and I had been moved. Emails were sent with new details including having to pick up and drop off keys on a busy Newcastle Street. Room was ok, lot of grease on cupboards dirty crockery. no Foxtel or reception facilities. no local area information. it was obvious this room was privately owned and dumped on us at the last minute, my previous stay in the hotel apartments was excellent, this time very disappointing. Feel like I have been taken for granted.

Review 29:It was hard to find the Honeysuckle apartments as there is no signage on the building. There was no correspondence advising that we had to check in at the Chifley Apartments.Access to the Underground parking was difficult as the key card seldom worked. Despite the fact that our room rate did not include servicing of the apartment, I felt that it was unreasonable to expect us to empty the rubbish bins as our stay in the apartment was for 7 days.

Review 33:One single bed had no doona--just a thin, folded, single blanket inside cover so mattress topper found in cupboard had to be used. Very strong odour of room deodoriser.

Review 35:smoke alarms were poorly place, going off with the least excuse.While the apartment was generally pretty clean I think the housekeepers were stretched trying to cope with all the mirrors and glass and some details went unattended, eg the last guest’s grill pan was still greasy, the microwave hadn’t been wiped out, the tumble dryer lint filter had not been emptied, the shower screen was a bit scummy.
Review 36:This apartment let us live comfortably, cook the majority of our meals , wash our clothes, sleep undisturbed and visit an occasional good restaurant. Parking in the area was manageable, especially after 5pm. Bedding and linen were very clean and mattress comfortable. The tariff was discounted on length of stay. Both reception and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 37:The place was dirty. Floors, shower, bench tops and inside the refrigerator all were stained or dusty or just dirty. One of the hand towels had lipstick or nail polish on and had just been refolded. It was misrepresented in that it over looked a rail line as opposed to the foreshore. Very disappointing.

I didn't like how the 2nd bedroom door / part of wall was frosted glass as the light came through & my kids struggled to sleep. The apartment also felt very bland & needed some soft furnishings to make it feel homely! I stayed in the Chifley Apartments previously & they were much better!

Review 68:We didn't recall seeing that the accommodation was called Chifley Apartments so we walked (we were on foot - didn't have a car) around the block a few times trying to find Honeysuckle Apartments. We then rang the number and the guy on reception directed us to the building.

Review 70:I am writing to express my disappointment, despite the location and the apartment which was just lovely, it was the other guest you had staying which were besides us and under us. After having a lovely day out and about in Newcastle we returned at 5pm to shower and proceed out to dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the party had already started on our floor, we returned around 9pm, still partying, that was all fine, still within decent hours of having fun. It was the 1,2,3,4 & five o'clock times of loud and rude behaviour that wasn't tolerable. Knocking on our door saying they were house keeping, throwing bottles off the balcony, loud music, just plain inconsiderate to all others, Honeysuckle Executive Apartments have a strict no party policy “No noise will be tolerated after 10pm” l did mention my disappointment to the lovely girl at reception on Sunday morning and she apologised to no end, very thankful on her behalf. My feed back its more letting you know what is going on once the duty manager leaves at 11pm.

Review 75:I didn't like getting locked in the car park for over an hour unable to raise anyone because the swipe card wouldn't let me back into the lift foya In the appartment the bedsid lights were both broken and not working. There wasn't enough glasses for the 4 people booked to stay. The same with cutlery only 3 sets very poor service of the appartment. The fact that the swipe cards don't work properly is very serious. I believe we are owed a problem free stay for the money. I would not recommend this appartment as we were not speaking to the management of the appartment the staff seem to be concerned with the chiffley appartments and while they were helpful they shouldn't have needed to do anything if the staff employed by you to service the appartment had done their job correctly.

Review 78:The apartment itself wasn't too bad, but the bedroom was terrible, 2 very small single beds that were not dressed and just had a white sheet over a roughly folded blanket, we line up against a white tiled wall, this was really disappointing. I also think I paid extra for a view, but there was no view. I do not understand how they can be called an executive suite.
