Reviews for Belica Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:There is no person in charge of reception, so it is a bit confusing. The waitresses at the restaurant do the check-in and check-out. Some waitresses were wonderful to us; some were not particularly friendly (We don't think we are very demanding guests.). The rooms were very nice, but lacked soundproofing.

Review 2:Beautiful views. Wonderful restaurant. Pleasant accommodations.

Review 3:We expected a little bit more personal experience considering this is a family owned property. Perhaps they don't have enough staff but still plenty guests so they don't have to make the effort. Check-in was rushed and impersonal, dinner and breakfast service professional but not very friendly. We also stayed at Gredic - the staff there were significantly friendlier and dinner/breakfast service great.

Review 4:Amazing views, great pool, good food and wine, comfortable rooms.

Review 5:Horrible bed, shower and pillows. Shower extremely small and didn't drain. Bed lumpy and pillows like rocks. Extremely inadequate air conditioning for mid 30 degree temperatures

Review 6:The restaurant were very friendly. The food and wine were very good. Nice pool

Review 7:The menu of the day at the restaurant didnt change on a daily basis, which made it a bit boring. Also, the wines at the restaurant were mediocre at very best. Further, the free wifi didnt work in our room, but worked well in the restaurant etc.

Review 8:Great location in the small town with a great view over the wineyards. The rooms were good sized and clean, as were the rest of the hotel as well. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is supposedly among the best in the area, and we did like it as well - medium priced with wines included. Best thing about the place is the location - we visited plenty of different wineries near by by car. But you can walk to some of the best ones as well such as Movia and Simcic.

Review 9:We stayed there only two nights. We should have stayed longer.

Review 10:We loved: - the swimming pool; - the very good breakfast (the best we had in Slovenia); - the room (very clean and big); - the free parking; - the very beautiful landscape.

Review 11:Unfriendly manager who I think needs to chill out a bit! I think the problem is that they get enough tourist in their facilities so they have no intentions of being a bit more accommodating! Would never bring anyone back! Gredič much better facilities and super nice management accommodating everyone with literally everything! Definitely never coming back!

Review 12:Food was good!

Review 13:Nothing bad to say at all

Review 14:This is an idyllic small hotel on a hilltop with fantastic views all around. Beautifully maintained and full of local character. The owners have their own wines and meats and preserves which are all proudly served in their terrace restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Review 15:Nothing

Review 16:Situated in a small village on a hillside near the Italian border with great views. Excellent restaurant on site Good breakfast family owned and operated.

Review 17:We liked everything about Belica.

Review 18:Superb location! We had a spacious room with fantastic views over the surrounding vineyards. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who speak excellent English. Excellent restaurant serving local produce and great wines. There are beautiful hilltop villages to visit nearby, great marked walks and good cycling routes. We would highly recommend staying and dining at Belica. We look forward to returning.

Review 19:The location is based on the top of the hill overwieving Goriska Brda and Collio. In an excellent restaurant and wine cellar you get a very fair equivalent for your money. The swimming pool is a bonus point.

Review 20:Wifi didn't work in our room but was good in outdoor eating area. The menu for the evening meal was confusing and breakfast choice was not to everyone's taste.

Review 21:Beautiful location. Great pool. Nice room. Friendly staff around the hotel.

Review 22:Noting.. We will be back

Review 23:Good restaurant, helpfull and friendly staff, nice rooms and great view from pool. They have electric shooters we could borrow to get something in the village. Good wine!

Review 24:Only sell their own wine and water. No soda, beer etc. The wine is ok, but nothing more than that. Their pillows are like balloons, horrible Staff is too busy to give info about activities

Review 25:Pool Food Location and views Big rooms

Review 26:If the hotel could be more welcoming to vegans/people with dairy allergy that would be amazing. Staff were very nice and tried their best and, to be fair, as the week went by, they were getting better and better. The point is, however, that I informed the hotel months before and they weren't prepared, assuming that I will find something. Not even non-dairy milk... as a result, during breakfasts, I sometimes felt as a second category guest as I had to play with tomatoes/olives/bread/fruits, when others had endless options. Even some beans or more vegetables would make the difference.

Review 27:We loved our stay. It's beautiful and perfect to hike/relax/cycle. All staff are very nice and swimming pool is the essence of beauty.

Review 28:Beautiful place, friendly staff and great food! What more could you want?

Review 29:Great staff... Room cozy.. Ambience brilliant

Review 30:No beers or spirits availble

Review 31:Fabulous location

Review 32:nothing

Review 33:good restaurant, nice place

Review 34:People passing by outside made room a little noisey

Review 35:Lovely outdoor dining under the vines.Great staff, excellent food and wine

Review 36:Need to be a little more informative regarding their wines and degustation. Was unclear about prices for tasting vs. buying wines with dinner, but it all worked out.

Review 37:Terrific property. Great atmosphere. Excellent views. Great outdoor dining area. Excellent value, probably because isn't on regular tourist route.

Review 38:Noise in the night, but it is summertime and people do not go sleeping earla.

Review 39:Everything

Review 40:Excellent location and very nice rooms with a lot of space Excellent breakfast
