Review 1：One area for improvement will be the towels that are provided. Very thin and worn out.

Review 2：I was given a large room just great for my family of 5 with two separate bedrooms. Appreciated the two bathrooms so we do not have to fight over use. While the hotel was not located in a central area, the shuttle service was regular and provided convenient access to the more popular tourist areas. Staff were also very helpful and provided lots of help and advice. There is also a bank located at the lobby that provided convenient currency exchange services at good rates. Will definitely stay here again.

Review 3：We really appreciated the bell staffs as they were super helpful. While waited for taxi, they told us to stay inside the lift foyer area as it was cold and windy. Also, they provided the detailed information and pricing to us without hesitation.

Review 4：The location was amazing. You can easily access many different subway lines. Not having to transfer lines is key in saving time. If you're active and prefer to walk, places like Myeongdong, Gwangjang Market, and Lotte Mall are within a 15-20 minute walking distance, We also got a free upgrade upon arrival. It was also a decent size, and very clean/tidy, if you're concerned about that.

Review 5：The toilet door jam, toilet bowl jam and cannot be flush, water heater cannot be control properly either very cold or very hot....certain areas are not properly clean, very dusty like the displaced area, window areas...etc.

Review 15：Some people at the reception are not very friendly. No spoons and only plastic stirrers given. There is a nice coffee making machine in the room and were so delighted to see it only to be disappointed that the condiment tray was empty with no capsules at all. I think it does not come with the basic room but it should have been clearly stated in the website the differences in package between the regular and premium room. We might have booked the premium triple instead. On the first day of check in, only 2 bottles of water were given although we had paid for three. The room smelled of smoke although it is supposed to be a non-smoking room. No welcome drink was given although it was stated in my booking confirmation that Genius member would be given that. (Not that it is a big deal but it should not be mentioned if there is no such practice).

Review 16：The location is convenient because the hotel is close to Chungmuro Station and Eulijiro 1 (il) ga station nearby. There are convenient stores and some cafe nearby. We took the shuttle bus to Dongdaemun which was convenient. However, we also waited in vain (past 10 mins) for the return trip. We took a taxi instead. Overall, the value is good for the price paid and shared by 3 people.

Review 17：The PJ hotel is about 200 metres from Exit 8 of the Chungmuro metro station which is the drop-off and pick-up point for the perfectly acceptable airport limousine bus service. The bus does a circuit of Seoul hotels and Chungmuro is the last on the list. Our twin bed suite offered high quality beds (firm, in the Asian style which we enjoy) excellent shower, good storage and a glimpse of the Seoul Tower. We did not really mind its location in a somewhat down market area off the Toegye-ro Jung-gu road through Chungmuro. But we had two concerns – one with comfort and the other with the assistance from PJ staff.Our room did not have conventional lounge chairs or a sofa familiar in Western hotels of the same quality and price – the only place to “sit” was at a low table, Japanese style. This requires you to sit on the floor, and as two older Australians, we have never used this style of table – our older knees and legs would make that impossible. So we had to sit on the two steps leading up to the platform where the table was located. When we asked about the lack of conventional chairs, the reaction was that this was not considered unusual. No alternatives were offered.Additionally, we were surprised to find that the advertised restaurants did not appear to be operating (except for functions like wedding receptions). The café/buffet was open for breakfast only. When we asked for suggestions for a place for our evening meal, we were referred to the concierge and then to another staff member, but both lacked the English language skills to understand our questions or to give us useful directions. As a result we just set off, late in the evening, in to the neighbourhood to see what we could find.Fortunately we had much better help from the Hotel Villa Suite across from Exit 8 of the Chungmuro station – the reception staff there were welcoming, even though we were not staying there.

Review 18：This is my 2nd time to stay here. Location is great! Very near to subway & we could even walk to meyongding. Just take 10 min. Shuttle bus service is good.

Review 45：The first room we checked in had a strong odor from cigarettes although it was supposedly a non smoking room. So the staff kindly transferred us to a different room the next day and it was fine.

I called to ask for late check out i was being told off latest is 1pm and if you wan anything more you must pay. My friend called to ask for late check out as well and he was told latest is 12:30pm anything more you must pay. We both called at the same time but both given a different timing.

Review 72：2 years ago i stayed at Hotel PJ the room was very impressive already. After 2 years later i came back the hotel apparently undergo a revamp and the lobby of every floor looks very grand and nice. The rooms are about the same nothing much have changed i booked a double room and the size is good enough for couple to stay and i got a friend who got a twin bed the room is huge and its good for a couple and 1 child. Room is very spacious as well.

Review 79：1. 枕头。酒店提供长枕头和短枕头，但都挺高的，对于睡惯矮枕的人有点难受，建议可以提供不同高度的枕头。 Pillows. Although PJ provided two kinds of pillows-long and short, they are both quite high ones. It might take some more time than usual to fall asleep if you got used to the low pillows.

Tea corner and big balcony are 3. 酒店地理位置。距离大部分景点和活动地点都比较近。明洞，广藏市场，东大门步行距离15分钟。酒店的两边分别是忠武路地铁站和乙支路三街。对韩式汗蒸感兴趣的朋友，酒店对面的大厦四楼有一间叫metro spa cabin的汗蒸馆，1万韩元一位（纯汗蒸），很多本地人都去。酒店附近许多小餐馆酒馆，都挺好吃的，推荐海鲜汤seafood stew。 Location. The hotel is in the middle of everything. 15 walking distance to nearby tourist attractions. It is also very close to the metro stations.

Review 81：My credit card was charged without my consent. I wanted to pay cash and was told I could pay at the point of stay. The rude receptionist charged my card without my permission.

Review 95：Centralized aircon was off even when the weather in Seoul during our stay was around 14-20degree. They did not inform us about it till we call the operator. They provided us with a standing fan and expect us to open the window for the cold air to come in, but due to the location of the hotel, the surrounding around the hotels are small eateries and smell like wet market. As we have a baby along with us, it's really tough not being able to control the temperature of the room. The male staff at the cashier counter does not understand what is customer service and very rude. The rest of them at the concierge are polite and friendly. The walking distance from Airport bus to Hotel wasn't easy with luggage. Could had advise us to wait for the shuttle bus to get to the hotel.

Review 98：Hey. I was there for 6 days and everything was wonderful. The price is excellent for what the hotel offers. It's very simple but very welcoming. The neighborhood seems not so safe, but it's precisely the opposite. It is situated in a traditional commercial area, specially full of paper shops, quite busy but you don't listen a thing. There are several restaurants around the hotel and groceries shops, so you will be sorted. It's near 3 metro stations and you can cover 4 lines which is a very very big plus. The bed is quite hard but confortable, just perfect for me. The room isn't that big but is more than enough to a tourist that spend his time traveling around the city, and want a nice quiet place to rest. The breakfast offers several options for both western and eastern people so you can adjust to your preferences. The price is fare also. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you. Overall it was in my opinion one of best possibilities, but after this trip, I do recommend it even more.

Review 99：The hotel is near the bus and subway station. They provide free shuttle ride to and from the shopping areas. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

Review 100：Was initially given a room on the 10th floor which smelled foul, a staff came up to check and he was rather rude, insisting the room was ok. When I requested for a change, he reluctantly brought us to another room on level 9, which smelled fresh and clean. Because of him, I can't give an Excellent for staff. Walking back from Chungmuro station late at night was quite a frightening experience with drunkards along the walkway, they may be harmless but avoid the route if you do not want to have heart-stopping moments.

Review 105：Every time I have come to Seoul, I stay at PJ Hotel. Excellent for its location, large rooms, shuttle service to shopping points and hotel service. Its my 6th time there!. Its just a few minutes walk to the airport bus stop and there are many eateries nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Review 106：Hotel prices are in general high in Seoul it seems. Being such a big hotel (271 rooms), facilities were surprisingly limited. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, no lunch or dinner available. Despite showing pictures of pub / bar area on website, this was non present. Neither gym or spa was available, in-room massage service could be called for (not tried).

Review 107：PJ Hotel has a perfect central location in Seoul with very short distance to both airport buses and metro. They also provide a free shuttle bus for closeby locations. Rooms are not oversized but reasonably large and many with an in-glassed balcony that makes it more spacious. We stayed on 10th floor which provided a good view of the city as a bonus. The room was kept clean, tidy and was with fairly new and fresh interior design. Staff at reception and concierge were all very helpful, kind and with good level of English.

Review 108：pj hotel is about 20min walk from Myeong-dong, but it's actually located in a very noisy area. the room is quite old and the toilet is not working very well. when we arrived there, we actually wanted to change to another hotel, but the staff told us if we change, they were going to charge us the fee for 4 nights, not only the deposit. unbelievable..

Review 122：ll Coffee and sugar not provided. Only Korean tea. Have to ask for sugar each day and they are so tight with the sugar. Was given only two sachets and when asked for more, was given 2 extras. Finally had to buy a kilo bag from the supermarket because that is the smallest bag for sale. This is the first time I have encountered this sort of problem in all my years of travelling and staying in a so-called 4-star hotel (2 - 3 star is more accurate). Surrounding area is slumy and dirty. Room was too hot and air-cond temperature cannot be controlled. This is at the end of June. A fan was brought to the room to make the heat more bearable. Wifi was very slow and impossible to use. We asked for 2 adaptors and when we use them,our room had a black-out in the middle of the night. The electrician came after 20 minutes and took another 20 minutes to bring power back to our room. I think this hotel need to update their air-conditioning and electrical system. Think twice before booking this hotel, don't let the shuttle bus service blind your judgement, like it did mine. There are many hotels in myeong-dong with better value!!!!!

Review 123：Regular shuttle bus to shopping location as well as night market in dongdaemun till 2am. This is, I am afraid if the only selling point of this hotel. Taxi fares are cheap and reasonable we found out so why put up in such a hotel.!!!!

Review 124：This can't really be a shortcoming. The location is not perfect but (1) the hotel is close enough to major shopping areas; (2) and, more importantly, the hotel made up for it by offering very frequent shuttle services throughout the day and night.

Review 125：This hotel is excellent for its price. It has modern facilities and very welcoming staff members.

Review 127：Spacious triple room and the amenities that came with it. Easy accessibility to the Chungmuro Station and the free shuttle bus.

Review 128：No hotel restaurant for dinner, or room service. Not really suitable for an overnight layover. Not the best choice for our purposes, but may suit other travellers better.

Review 129：Beds very comfortable, good sized room, good clean bathroom. Close to a metro station. Useful free shuttle bus to other metro stations and shopping centre.

Review 130：Airport bus stops at one block away from hotel. You have to walk pass the back alley and cross a road to get to the hotel, ~5min walk. The surrounding looks like 1970s and many old folks there. If you have many luggages and intends to take the airport bus, this might not be a good choice. In SG context, this place is like Defu industrial area with many old folks.

Review 131：I stayed there twice. Once in twin sharing and once in double bed room. The rooms are very new and the twin sharing room is very big. The hotel provides free bus to and fro tourist spots like myeong dong and dongdaemun till 2am. The help desk staff were very friendly and one of them spoke good english. This hotel is located in an old estate, Chungmuro and the good thing is you can find small traditional restaurants and mini-mart when you walk along the back alley. There is an ahjuma grilling fish outside her stall and her food is good!

Review 132：The rooms themselves are tiny and outdated. The shuttle drivers are rude. The location in the middle of the printing district is convenient, but is not close to anything.

Review 133：Very friendly and centrally located. The shuttle bus was very nice as well.
