Reviews for Endeavour Lodge
Review 1:rooms can get hot and stuffy if locked up, no air-con, no ceiling fans, limited power points in the bedroom to plug a fan in, all were behind the bedside tables.
Review 2:great views, very quiet, large size front & back balcony
Review 3:Nil
Review 4:All the wonderful extras such as the picnic hamper, beach towels and so many wonderful coastal views. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean units with a comfortable bed. A car a must to see the island
Review 5:It was faultless!
Review 6:This was my ninth holiday on Norfolk Island over a period of 45 years - first as a family with young children, then with my husband, friends and other couples. This was my second stay at Endeavour Lodge. Everything was perfect in every way - the view, the spaciousness and quality of the accommodation, and the efficiency and pleasantness of the staff.
Review 7:Absolutely no bad experiences and it all depends on the people in the next unit .... perhaps 'felt' on the bottoms of the legs of the dining chairs would help stop the unavoidable 'scraping' sounds across the floor.
Review 8:It was great to be driven to our accommodation and be given a great 'initiation'. Great views and very friendly staff. Lovely added touch of available fresh fruit. Generally all just great in a beautiful Iocation.
Review 9:What a great place to stay, excellent views and facilities, everything you could think of was there, even binoculars. There were sweet little banana's available for anyone to help themselves to. Duncan & Gaewyn were great hosts.
Review 10:Other than not been able to spend more time there, absolutely no complaints.
Review 11:Hard to pick a single highlight, the whole package was an absolute delight, Duncan and Gaewyn should be very proud of what they have to offer, highly recommend!!
Review 12:The view, the quietness, well maintained and more than adequate facilities, availability of little extras such as bananas, eggs, beer and wine, snorkel equipment, etc. T V reception was excellent.
Review 13:From the moment we arrived on Norfolk Island our host was there to greet us. Arrived at the accommodation and from the moment we walk through the front door we were impressed with the high quality of the rooms. Top quality all the way. Already preparing a return visit.
Review 14:Quite expensive. Food quite dear, one litre of milk nearly $9 and little fruit and vegetables on the island. Gone are the days of Duty Free prices - cheaper on the mainland for a lot of items.
Review 15:The weather was perfect, scenery spectacular and the locals very friendly. A great place to relax and soak up some history.
Review 16:No heater in the bathroom and exhaust fan connected to light switch made it very cold when stepping out of the shower. Accept electricity an issue, but pls disconnect exhaust from light switch.
Review 17:Absolutely a home away from home. Everything wanted was at hand. Appliances, fittings etc top of the range. Unlikely to find better at such a price. Little way out of town, but that worked for me. Magnificent view from all cottages.
Review 18:Had problems with cockroaches, ants and white tail spider. As the weather was wet also had problems drying towels. No heated towel rail or clothes dryer. Apartment only serviced once in 7 days.

Review 51:Place spotless great location staff accommodating
Review 52:The only problem was the bed was too big and my lovely husband was too far away!
Review 53:Fabulous location, wonderful views. Everything you could need was included, washing machine, clothes lines , pegs, washing powder, dishwasher even a sewing kit. The bananas were also a bonus.
Review 54:The only thing was lack of air conditioning but there is none on Norfolk Island. Ceiling fans would help a lot.
Review 55:We liked the stunning views from the unit & the privacy. It was nice & quiet & we loved that. The unit was beautifully set up with everything we needed including a washing machine & beach towels. We would return in a heartbeat. And the owners Gaywaen & Duncan were lovely & helpful but unobtrusive.
Review 56:It can be "pot luck" with the neighbours you happen to have, and unfortunately not everyone is considerate of other guests who may wish to sleep in. However, this is the case wherever one travels and is not limited to Endeavour.
Review 57:Standard of cleanliness and thoughtfulness of equipment; ease of access to town and beach; views from each balcony.
Review 58:The only thing for us was a very firm mattress.. we are softys... but .. this was the only thing !!!
Review 59:Loved Endeavour Lodge, with all the thought into all the little things like picnic basket and rug, thermos, torch, binoculars,so very well equiped.. books to read, a mobile phone etc etc etc GREAT shower.....
