The luxurious Dusit Thani Maldives is on Mudhoo Island in Baa Atoll, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and a turquoise lagoon. With a private beachfront, tree-top spa and free Wi-Fi, it features an 8000-ft² outdoor pool, one of the largest in Maldives.

Dusit Thani Maldives is a 35-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. It is a 10-minute speedboat ride from the domestic airport in Baa Atoll.

Review 1：Pillows were a bit smelly. But note that I'm exceptionally sensitive to smells. And my fiancée said that she cannot smell it.

Review 2：This hotel makes you feel a bit of cognitive dissonance.. in a good way :) You are on Maldives, coral reef and fishes are Maldives, however resort is Thai. And it makes you feel like you are in a very good hotel in Thailand. So the whole experience is like visiting two places in the same time. Recommended for everyone who is familiar with "traditional" Maldivian resorts and wants something a bit new and unusual. Early check-in and late check-out is also something that not many hotels offers for free. Staff are great.

Review 3：The porch platform has not been constructed completely horizontal, hence the water gathers towards to the room entrance when it rains. But this is minor considering you always need to step to the sand and water and get wet.

Review 4：Especially enjoyed the landscape, the super easy and comfortable accessibility to the beach, Sea Grill restaurant, Banjarong Thai Restaurant, and staff's attitude of putting guests on priority and always smile.

Review 5：was very expensive when we book, although booking.com states that we only need to pay half of the price at booking, they insist to charge full price or they will cancel our reservation. The island is poorly managed, it has very dirty roads and confusing road design. The swimming pool is very beautiful but the materials are all very rough, I scratched my left arm and it bleed. I also experienced a interruption in internet service. We also went fishing and caught 7 fishes, diving centre (the organizer of fishing) agreed to send all 7 fishes to the sea grill restaurant but at the dinner we only get 4 of them and the restaurant insisted that they only get 4 from the fishing centre.

Review 10：This hotel is the best hotel I stayed in, in Maldives and I have been to Maldives several times. The dive center is excellent Mark and all his staff are very helpful. The food is superb and I am very picky with food. Each villa comes with a butler that welcomes you from the time you arrive to the time you depart and caters to your every desire from booking restaurants to driving you around the island in a buggy. All villas have beach access and are elegantly furnished. Had a great time will come back for sure.

Review 28：Besides a birthday celebration we went there to scuba dive. Dive sites did not meet our expectations. In fairness this has nothing to do with the resort per say. We would return in future should we enjoyed the diving but alas, we will be looking into other atolls.

Review 29：We read about the hospitality of staff and we were not disappointed. We were very spoilt and very appreciative of all the staff's efforts in making this trip a memorable one for my husband's birthday. Our beach villa was very comfortable and spacious, and we love the courtyard bathroom. Food especially the Thai restaurant was one of the best I've ever had (Thai food wise).

Review 35：Some places in the island did not have wifi connections, such as the spa center. The food in the SeaGill restaurant was a bit disappointing, although the view there was beautiful.

Review 36：We stayed in a Ocean Villa, and the poor view was amazing! The room was confutable and the house-keeping was always on time - the drinking water was filled up every day and the clean towers were always enough. The staff were very helpful and caring. The food for breakfast was very good.

Review 37：I guess the pricing needs to be revised in order for one to really enjoy the facilities, I found $190 for the use of the jet ski for 30 minutes was a bit steep.. Some of the trees around the rooms facing the ocean need trimming as you can't see the ocean which is a shame.

The food was absolutely delicious.European, Thai, Asian, American, and seafood. Everything was there (AllHalal). We booked ocean villa and it was gorgeous. The view was stunningand the villa was private. We loved moving with our own cycles. Bestpart! Also the spa was impeccable and very refreshing. The airportloungue was relaxing and comfortable. The arrangements were really good.We absolutely would recommend Dusit thani to our friends and family!

Review 45：Unable to swim in the sea despite having access from our ocean villa. Prior info on sea conditions would have been useful. My hand phone was stolen on the seaplane on departure. Dusit staff at Male were helpful but I have had no response from the hotel manager since emailing him a month ago.

Kids club's infrastructure was excellent, but the activities could have been organized a bit better to engage children. sports fishing is really expensive (1,800 USD + taxes just to rent the boat plus the fishing fee).

Review 52：The location is fantastic starting with the Seaplane trip from Male, it is just so exciting. The hotel really lives up to its 5 star standard, rooms are lovely, food is fantastic, our favourite being the Thai restaurant. The Staff are probably the nicest we have come across. The Coral Reef is amazing and so much better than any other we have visited in the Maldives. We would definitely recommend over many other 5 star hotels in the Maldives. Your own personal Butler looks after you so well and will make restaurant bookings, dive or snorkelling reservations, just a wonderful service. Would definitely go back.
