Review 1：The hotel personel was very friendly, we used the spa, the restaurant and bar and the service was always impeccable. Also the hotel was nicely located in center of Portugal so we could day trips to other cities.

Review 3：Stayed at the recently opened "design" wing. Great bedroom, excellent SPA and great indoor pool, good breakfast. Very conveniently located near the highway exit, within walking distance (some 10mns) from the Sanctuary. An excellent base for exploring the Oeste region.

Review 4：Spa was too cold, Sauna was too small, water of the pool too cold. The rooms weren't soundproofed. We could hear everything from other bedrooms even regular conversations

Review 8：The hotel is made of a new and an older building , you only see picture of newest rooms online. We were given though one of the rooms in the old wing... Pretty beaten up and switch cigarette smell, clearly an old smoking room not adequately converted to a non-smoking one.

Review 22：Detested the fact that my privacy was violated my a staff person to a crazy women who called asking for me. I would never go back because this breach of confidenciality made me less safe and I had to return to the states early

SPA usage: I have never heard of a SPA wherein small children can run around shouting, diving in the pool, entering saunas and turkish baths (which in itself is extremely dangerous to their health). The admission policy should be completely revised. My wife and I had 2 hours of SPA usage each, out of these 4 hours we basically ended up using 1H30 in total given it was simply unbearable. Either start enforcing proper usage of the SPA, or do not admit anyone under the age of 16. As it is now, it is unacceptable. . TV remote control worked intermittently. . Elevator: Twice the elevator door did not open in the reception floor. This is both dangerous and unacceptable. The "old part" of the hotel shouldn't mean it is an abandoned area with no maintenance. When we complained, silence reigned. . The "old part" of the hotel feels outdated and needs some serious remodelling. I would have gladly paied an extra 10 euros for a room in the newer part.

Review 24：. The room service food quality was excellent. . Breakfast was very good. . The whole hotel has a nice feel to it.

Review 25：it was winter when we stayed there and when we arrived the room was ice cold! of course there is a heater but somebody should turn it on before the guests arrive. the sauna is very small - only for 2 people and the turkish bath is for 3 people and made out of plastic. and they insist on a bathing hub in the pool but instead they should insist on towels in the sauna. results of this wellness weekend were a cold and a candida infection.

Review 26：the hotel restaurant is the best. the food is amazing. the atmosphere in the restaurant could be better... a few candles and nice music instead of the bright light. it is a pity because the food is really delicious. the staff is very friendly.

Review 38：The town was not for me as I had not travelled there for religious reasons. If you are not a visitor with a religious reason for visiting then there is absolutely nothing to do in the town.

Review 89：Warm swimming pool. Breakfast buffet. All was excellent. It seems a law to wear bathing caps in pools in Portugal and they offer high quality caps for only 7 euros. This is clear on their Web site. We liked everything especially the helpful girls at the front desk.

Review 91：Near to the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima. The staff of this hotel were very helpful, informative and polite. The room is very neat and being tidy everyday. Pool and spa are clean and got everything. Breakfast and dinner were nice. Over all, everyone and everything were very good. We had a very good stay. This hotel is highly recommendable to everyone, friends and family.

Review 92：Staff did not greet us lift broke down and we had to climb out via aladder hotel not 5 minutes walk from Shrine but a good 10 min. Bigproblem for my sister. Spa facilities did not mention I had to get flipflops on internet.I Could not purshase them as town in v,. Small and socould not use spa facilities I will be writing to Portugese Touristboard we asked for kettle but staFF did not provide tea etc only sugar.Falls far below requirements of a 4 star hotel AND YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS OUT staff could barely speak English.

Review 105：Having kids running around and doing a lot of noise in the Spa after 16h, supposedly when it's way past their time. This completely ruins the Spa experience.

Review 106：The 2h Spa included in the reservation was great and more than enough to relax. The rooms (we stayed in the standard ones) are quite fair in size, clean and with good overall aspect. The bed was huge and comfortable (and I'm quite a tall guy). The staff was very nice and polite.

Review 109：The only thing I would like to be changed is the opening time of the health club. It didnt open on most mornings till 10 a.m. Breakfast is over at 10.30a.m. so there is no time to go for a swim or exercise before breakfast. So you have to have a very early breakfast if you want to swim or exercise anytime before lunch as the health club closes for lunch at 1pm. This means that you may not get a morning session. The afternoon session is fine. But you cannot take the 2 hours together, you can only take one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. When I asked at reception about it, I was told that Portugeese people dont exercise in the morning but prefer to exercise in the evening. However it would be good for international guests.

Review 110：We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely time. The room was a classic traditional room and was very adequate and clean. The breakfast was really good and catered for all tastes. The spa and health club also was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 114：Everything excellent, from the staff to the room to the dining experience, to the spa and gym facilities. Just superb, the room couldnt have been any cleaner or more comfortable. Large room, large bathroom with industrial type shower, I forgot my shaver and they had one in there, I ran out of cotton pads, also had some in there. Just all the little touches that allow you to just relax and enjoy your time.
