Review 1：Not much not to like, not in the very centre of the village but only like 4 mins by foot, and the walk was really scenic!

Review 5：The independent Chalets were clean, comfortable and had more than you'd expect. Like a home away from home everything has been thought of. The layout of the Chalets makes it feel like you have privacy and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be going back here next time we are in Hanmer

Review 6：Cabin is beautiful with knotty pine through out plus very well appointed. Little things that you don't think about until you need them such as laundry basket is available. Daily newspaper delivered to doorstep. Beautiful cabin; everything to make life needs comfortable and great hosts available at all times.

Review 9：The Chalets is definitely a little piece of paradise! I stayed there in a 1 bedroom chalet for 2 weeks (November 2015) and found everything absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful and my chalet was immaculate with a view to simply die for. I highly recommend staying there for both solo travellers and families alike. 10/10

Review 10：We arrived in a hailshower and it had been hailing off and on all day. We received a warm welcome. Our chalet was private, spacious and quiet. We were within a comfortable walking distance of the village.

Review 13：some more storage would have been good, hooks for jackets were missing, one bedroom did not have ANY storage, neither wardrobe or hooks or rack or tray for suitcase. Especially if you go to the pools you would need a place to hang up wet towels and togs. Water pressure in the shower was very very low, so was not really fun to shower.

Review 14：Very clean, good kitchen equipment, quiet location, much space around the chalet, lovely beds, heating. Layout of the chalet was perfect for 5 people, as one bedroom off lounge and the other off hall and bath, so even if someone would snore, you would not hear!

Review 22：Only minor quibbles - a small bathroom with no room to hang clothes and no exhaust fan; lack of storage in bedroom (not really a problem for us as we stayed only one night but would be if you stayed longer) and not quite as "modern' .

Review 23：Such a peaceful place- way off the main road , and just out of the village. So quiet. Individual cabins- each with parking- meant a private stay. A small bedroom but comfortable bed with heating and electric blankets which we happened to need in May. A large sitting/kitchen area with good sized fridge, lots of bench space and every utensil anyone would need. Hand towels and tea towels both provided in this area. Helpful host.

Review 35：We really enjoy this location, walking distance (10-15 mins) of the village centre, hot pools/bakery. Quiet the 2 nights we spent there.We again stayed in chalet 10 with the spa tub, oven, BBC Uk channel. Has a great sized yard in front of the chalet and a outdoor clothes dryer. Nice view. We like this location for our first nights when we arrive in NZ, fly into Christchurch, shop for supplies and drive here, nice to enjoy the Hot Pools after travelling 24 hrs.

Review 36：the perfume of the cleaners or air freshener coming from the bathroom overwhelmed us at the door as we walked in and permiated the whole dwelling for the two days we were there. The rooms were all perfectly clean - we didnt need convincing!

Review 41：We had a lovely stay. We travelled with young children and my grandmother who is wheelchair bound. The bathroom was spacious and had a walk in shower. A shower stool and ramp into the chalet were provided, which we didn't request but was so wonderful as makes our lives so much easier, it made us feel that the owners really thought about our needs. The chalet was very spacious an we had plenty of towels and pillows making our stay very comfortable.

Review 50：I liked everything, the staff were fantastic couldn't do enough for you. The chalets had absolutely everything you could think of even tissues and a torch never had those in a motel ever. Everything was so clean as well. Great having things for childen to play on as well and the skate park just across the road.

Review 52：there was a party in a holiday house nearby that went on all weekend, and the owners of the Chalets were not at all helpful. The noise was quite extreme,from fri night through sat, sat night and starting again 6am sunday. It really did ruin our stay. Wont be going again sadly, because of the risk of that.

Review 59：The chairs in the lounge area, hard and uncomfortable. We stayed in a lot watching dvds and all ended up with sore backs. A sofa would be ideal in the lounge.

Review 61：Our chalet was clean and warm with everything we needed for a lovely stay. When a lightbulb needed replacing it was done quickly and cheerfully, the staff were friendly and we will be back to enjoy beautiful Hanmer again.
