Reviews for Lofoten Feriesenter

Review 1:The kitchen was kind of small but it wasn't such a big issue.

Review 2:It was a very cozy and nice place to stay and just hang out around the area. The view was simply amazing!

Review 3:no coffeemaker

Review 4:Great place , great location with beautiful views. There was a fotball field close that we enjoyed. They gave us a great recommendation for eating as we were a group of 12. Fellini's Pizza was Excellent

Review 5:Wifi connection is not the greatest. Its self-service so you pretty much need to have everything from towel to shower gel etc.

Review 6:I stayed in Cabin 2! absolutely stunning view of the lake. Ask for this Cabin. For me, location was good. Its about 25-30 min walk to Svolvaer centre. Beautiful walk. I even walked with my suitcase on the last day...so doable. There is a beautiful hike on the right (if you are facing the cabins). Staff could have been a bit more helpful with tips on where to eat and go... but thats fine. Just ask at the tourist centre Its great for big groups!

Review 7:The bathroom was not really clean and the shower drain was clogged. The beds under the ceiling were quite small.

Review 8:Really nice view and cosy flat. Possibility to make a fire in the wood stove.

Review 9:Could benefit from a few more kitchen utensils n a microwave oven.

Review 10:The location was excellent for us as we had hired a car. Lovely to come home to a warm, cosy cabin. Great value for money.

Review 11:Not really any curtains- so lacked privacy, I can imagine its a problem during the long summer days. No staff on duty, but we didn't really mind. No wood provided for the stove

Review 12:Beautiful setting, warm and quite romantic, had most facilities you would need, within walking distance for the town/shops/ferry. Wifi was fine too

Review 13:The dining table wasn't as nice as other cabins I've been to. There was no oven.

Review 14:The interior looks amazing and it has a cool fireplace. The morning light coming through the back windows is unreal.

Review 15:It's a pity because with a little more care it would be a great place to spend some days. Our fridge was noisy as hell and cleanliness was abysmal (dirty beds and bathroom).

Review 16:Good position and quiet surroundings.

Review 17:Beds are arrange din a strange way. 2 of them are in single rooms really dark, while the ohters are under the roof and not really comfortable.

Review 18:Amazing location, with an astonishing view over the lake. The cottage was incrdibly large and we had a lot of space!

Review 19:Went with my gf for a coulle of nights. Got a cabin facing the lake. Increeedibly beautiful and peaceful and the cabin was awesome. Only bad thing is that they dont have double beds. Mjust singles and they are attached.. but you can take down the matresses and figure it out :) loved it. Period. Plus location is juuust right.

Review 20:It is recommended to put an oven or microwave in the cabin. It is also required to install something in the bath to put our towel on. The wifi is very poor in rooms, but outside you can easily connect.

Review 21:The view of the lake and the location are great. The cabin is very comfort and clean. Great value for money in so expensive Norway.

Review 22:the bed is tooooo smalll on the second floor....tiny space...

Review 23:very nice view, and big space with kitchen and shower place, and you can have your breakfast at the balcony and watch the lake. many activities, and free boat to play in the small lake

Review 24:I liked the place, i think that the location in Svolvaer is well chosen. The view from the back side of the cabin is really beautiful. Close by are nice routes for a hiking.

Review 25:Had problems with the wifi

Review 26:Cheap, plenty of hot water and always warm

Review 27:None!

Review 28:Stayed in room 3, the backyard was facing the lake and it was so beautiful throughout the day.

Review 29:Position, quiet, view, canoe

Review 30:If you don't have transport it's 2.5 km outside Svolvaer so with luggage it's a trot

Review 31:Lovely cabin lake side, quiet and clean

Review 32:A very comfortable cabin in an idyllic quiet setting.

Review 33:You had to provide your own linens & towels or "rent" theirs for an exorbitant add on fee

Review 34:It was in a beautiful lication

Review 35:Wifi is way too weak!

Review 36:none

Review 37:view

Review 38:Only one bed has a 'normal' size. Two are very narrow. Kitchen utensils are sparse.

Review 39:Lovely view and roomy studio.

Review 40:Fireplace present, but no firewood!

Review 55:Its a pretty place near Svolvaer. Good cabins.

Review 56:Great cabin, it have everyting you need. Nice view over a lake just 10 meters below the cabin. the place is located very central in lofoten.

Review 57:the space for bed is too small, even for asian.

Review 58:very good equipment and internet

Review 59:That construction of shower without cabin or even any "borders" - you have bathroom full of water each time... why?

Review 60:We were only there for a couple of nights, but it was a great place to stay to get a feel for the outdoors side of life in the Islands.

Review 61:No oven in kitchen, just two small electric rings. An oven & microwave would be useful. Also no hooks or places for clothes in toilet / shower room
