Reviews for Hotel Dona Leonor
Review 1:The room is very old style, feels very lonely , tv also outdated.
Review 2:Mostly Mr. Telmo assistance, he has treated me like family, he's always very polite, very professional.
Review 3:The hotel seems a little bit old, it feels a little bit cold even with the warm air condition opened
Review 4:The service attitude is quiet good. I need to visit one customer in the suburb, the hotel staff try to arrange all for me. And hotel is just situated in the center of the city, everything is very convenient.
Review 5:Shower took a while to warm up, but was good when it did.
Review 6:Close to bus station easy to find, good plentiful breakfast, friendly helpful staff, and it was possible to arrange an early breakfast on my last day. Clean, comfortable and good value for money, stayed 3 nights. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Review 7:The hotel is hard to find by car. We had a room close to the elevator that was quite noisy. Only two parking places are reserved for the hotel.
Review 8:Good location and great breakfast.
Review 9:Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 10:Cleanliness could not be faulted. Nearby access to bus station and all shops, park, bars etc excellent. A little old fashioned but such lovely people.A perfect restaurant right next door was fabulous.
Review 11:The rooms are very small
Review 12:Location and staff. Staff at reception are very friendly. The location is perfect for visiting the city and Obidos. Infact, better to stay in this city and spend time in Obidos rather than staying at Obidos itself.
Review 13:I stay at Dona Leonor whenever I'm in Caldas da Rainha because it is very reasonably priced, quiet, and the employees are friendly. It is also very close to the bus station. I haven't had the breakfasts there because I'm not a morning person, but I love that they have bathtubs in their rooms. I will definitely stay here again.
Review 14:A bit of noise from occasional passers-by in the side street outside the bedroom, no A/C or tea-making facilities.
Review 15:A very friendly Residential close to the main square, roman bridge, etc. Excellent buffet breakfast (continental) with plenty of choice and a quirky self-service bar: write what you had on a form and pay on leaving. Plenty of goods eating and drinking places nearby. Castle and convent at the top of the hill - I took the little tourist train to save my legs - entrance for pensioners only 3 euros and well worth it.
Review 16:No internet conection from the room. The city is in a total remodellation, therefore being impossible to find the church or the hotel.
Review 17:Arrived at 3am and still allowed to check in.
Review 18:Hotel is situated on the central square, in july 2014 it was closed fo repairs, so it waы difficut to get there on car
Review 19:Friendly staff, free breakfast, nice clean rooms.
Review 20:We never were able to figure out where the parking garage for the hotel was, so we ended up parking somewhere close, but much more expensive.
Review 21:The location of Dona Leonor is excellent - right next to the train station. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is quiet and the bathrooms are equipped with big tubs and soap and shampoo. We loved the metal shutters that closed to keep light out so we could sleep in.
Review 22:Too few parking options.
Review 23:Nice staff. Renewed city area.
Review 24:The room was old
Review 25:Breakfast
Review 26:- Cleanliness lacking on arrival (hairs in bathtub) - Old rusty pipes in bathroom, old sheets
Review 27:- Close to railway and bus station - Reasonable price
Review 28:WiFi not available, difficult to comunicate in english (despite this, staff is nice and helpfull),
Review 29:location, patio nice and helpfull people
Review 30:the bed, creaky and uncomfortable. the size of the bathroom
Review 31:The location, the very friendly staff and the breakfast
Review 32:The hotel is closed to the bus station, where we could take coach to Obidos and Lisbon. It was quite convenient for us to continue our trip.
Review 33:nice location, confortable rooms, clean and nice..
Review 34:Location, price and facilities. Helpful and multi-lingual staff. Free parking
Review 35:Public works made car access difficult.
Review 36:Excellent staff!
Review 37:This hotel was in an excellent central location and reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind and the room was clean and comfortable. It even had a bathtub, which is something we look forward to when traveling since we only have a small shower at home. We'd definitely stay here again when in Caldas da Rainha.
Review 38:Room furniture is a little old.!
Review 39:It is centrally located, very clean and whilst not modern it is good value for money. Staff speak good English and are very friendly.
Review 40:- Really small room- The room smelled like sewer once you flushed the toilet. - Super thin walls, you could hear people snorring, talking, walking, putting the clothes in the dresser, everithing, even sex. And there was one crazy couple on the floor below us that the woman would scream her lungs out. - Very cold room with broken heating. - The breakfeast was free but not that great, milk coffe, 2 breads and butter, and thats it. - The price. I have been in numerous hotels and for the money i payed here, the conditions should be alot better.
Review 41:everything was good, nice place, very good breakfast, warm room in these cold days
Review 42:Excellent location in the city center. Private garage
