Review 1：Very friendly and relaxed Italian staff Velentina, Tommy and Ivan! Location is just 50m from the Tamarin beach. We had also a lovely dinner, which was cooked by the owner Ivan.

Review 2：We arrived with a lot of plans to go hiking, see the mountains, the national parks, the waterfalls etc, Ivan made us realize that this is a place to chill, everything takes more time than you expect and needs to be planned. There is not much close by this cute little hotel, except for the beach. I would recomend everyone that visit Mauritius to rent a car. There are not many tourists around, so the feeling walking the streets is "real and genuine" Just the fact that there is no restaurants or shops around, is cool and unique for this part of mauritius. The bed were rock hard but it was okay for the two days!

Review 3：This is a very relaxed and simple place, close to the beach. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They offered us to have dinner with the rest of the guests mixed with the staff wich was very convenient and apprechiated! I liked that the shower was spacious and very comfy! :) Over all pretty good value for money!

Review 4：If you are invited to dine at the guest house, Ivan's cooking is NOT to be missed! He was also an excellent resource for setting up excursions, dolphin swims and horseback riding on the beach were out of this world. If we asked for something else, I have no doubt that we would have had a similar experience. Very laid back, comfortable room with nice porch with hammock. No TV that I saw, but good wireless outside the rooms. Public beach and awesome sunsets are 75 meters away.

Review 5：The host Ivan, was not very helpful or friendly, everything came at a price. Not helpful and did not suggest any options and just said we must sort it out ourselves. Rate quoted on Booking.com in Euros, paid in MUR, but the rate he used was excessive and he refused to explain and just said that was the amount payable. No card facility and wanted cash only. Sink was leaking in the room he allocated to us, then had to move us to another room, according to him, a better room with aircon but did so very grudgingly, like it was our fault the sink was leaking and damaged the bags when he hauled them to the upstairs room. Again, did it grudgingly and damaging it in the process. We asked about a taxi service and was told that we must go find one ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!! No offer of any kind, while we understand it is not in this service requirement but a little assistance will be appreciated like the other hosts we stayed with. When compared with other guest house owners/managers, this guy was the worst and stuck out as a bad experience, will definitely not recommend family and friends to stay there. Bad attitude.

Review 11：Very good location. few steps away from public beach where you can surf and take lessons. The host Ivan is just the most helpful person ever. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a dinner organized and cooked by himself in the evenings - fish carpaccio, tuna steaks etc so tasty that you cannot find better ones in the best restaurants . Relaxing atmosphere . Friendly travelers. Lounge to read, or relax, hammocks, everything.
