Review 1:The water is not hot enough for shower; My families stayed 2 years before, the maintenance is poor. Room is small, cant feel like stay in a four star hotel.
Review 2:The location is very far from town, nothing much to see at this area. Travelling by taxi is expensive too. Aircon noisy, the hotel look very dimmed along the corridor to the rooms. Kind of scary to me.

Review 5:they charged me different price from what quoted in booking website My key has problems and need to reset it at the reception many times. and only be given only 1 key. Need to pick up husband at the lobby while he went out for a while.
Review 6:I arrived and check in about 4.30pm but the front desk told me the room is not ready then I ask how long, After 10minutes he told me, it will take very long cannot let me know how long it takes. Then I ask him if your room ready will you call me? He said no, he will leave my stuff at the front desk only. After then I waited till almost 6.00pm, I went to front desk and asked, but the staff attend me it no longer there. One stuff lady looks a bit senior told me the queen size bed room not yet available. She said if I don't mind she will joins the bed for me. I agree to do that. By then she couldn't find my check in stuff and have to re do it all over again. I really dissapointed. Another things is I request newspaper in the morning even in the on line booking I mension it. but I didn't received, but when I called up your staff said the manager didn't know that matter so .... with all sort of reason.
Review 7:Environment and room quite good
Review 8:There were fresh blood stains on the bedsheet and the duvet cover. It was late at night when we noticed the stains. No choice but to make do with it. The air cond was too cold.

Review 10:disappointed with their so called executive floor and executive lounge. Went to the executive lounge and i feel uncomfortable because you have to ask then they only serve you. They served chilled juice and wine but the glass they served is with lipsticks stains, and the executive lounge staff is not friendly at all. Then next morning went to breakfast and the cup is with lipsticks stains again. Was expected for better and more service , but end up very disappointing. Room is small and the carpet is a bit smelly, it's almost the same compare to the normal floor. Totally not value for money. Will not return.
Review 11:Wifi is good and fast , other than this, some of the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Review 16:Mgt Staff could increase their smile especially some of the F&B Staff at BF and Front Desk Staff. Newspaper is not delivered, had to ask. Duty Mgt is not meticulously tracking. Restaurant Kitchen close for rectification works which resulted for no Dinner Service. Hotel Mgt did not publicise and did not inform Guests. When we returned at abt 1940H for dinner at Hotel, we were shocked and had to go to the Bar to order meal which were limited to a few items. We had to wait close to 35 minutes before dinner arrived. Very bad service and Mgt did not bother to check with Guests. No Bell Boy to carry luggage to Room upon checking in.

Review 18:Front office staffs were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. Customer service is bad. I asked for a late check out for 2pm as my husband will finished his marathon around 9am and was told I need to pay a late charge fee. I am okay with that but the staff told me I need to check out by 5pm when I am paying a full day charge! I got to know about this when I went to check the rate in the internet. In the end, I booked the room online, paid the full day charge and checked out at 645pm on the same day. Disappointed by the service !
Review 19:requested non smoking room and high floor during booking but so disappointed that it was not fulfilled. furthermore the smoking room is terrible smell. Thou the front desk told us that they will get the housekeeping to put some air freshener but it was not done. In fact we had to remind them twice before housekeeping came and gave us a bottle of mixture of spray and had to be returned immediately after spraying. This was given way past 11pm.

Review 21:A couple shd be issued 2 security cards to make easy access to room n lift. If one is left in the room, the one who is out cannot go up in the lift.

Review 25:Rooms are ok and I would stay here again on my next visit, but compared to the lobby the rooms are rather run down. It's been about a year since my last stay and it does not look like they changed or renovated anything in the mean time. There was chewing gum on the carpet next to my bed, the toilet water kept running most times after you flushed and on the last morning water from a broken pipe or something like that came raining down from the bathroom ceiling. Not much comment on that from the staff when I mentioned it during check out.
Review 26:Location is very convenient if you are there on Business. Close to the Bridge as well as most companies in the southern part of the island. Only a few minutes on foot to get to Queensbay mall or several smaller shops and bars around the hotel. Wide selection of Western and Asian breakfast options.
Review 27:Poor breakfast quality i.e. fried rice, fried mee, prawn noodle, desserts, breads No lotion provided in the room, poor quality of conditioning shampoo Should take care the cleanliness of food especially those with uncovered i.e. fruits, meat slices, cheese, breads. Saw flies around.

Review 32:surface parking is chargeable RM20/day then always has to explain to security guard after the car is parked. No coffee house operate for dinner. we have to eat our dinner in lounge....very inconvenient. will not stay at eastin again.

Review 41:We had a very very bad experience over in Eastin Penang. Check in took us over 15 minutes, receptionists were talking and talking forever to check us in. Room feel eerie gave a goosebump in 1404, we requested a refund but receptionist insist no and offer us a room change to 1308, the eerie feeling is even stronger this time, when complaint, turn out manager somehow aware of the problem with that room assign. Very bad experience!!!

Review 44:There is no dressing table in the deluxe room. I was charged few bucks on top of what I've paid in booking.com as they mentioned that booking.com undercharged me for that night.

Review 46:Upon arrival in a rental van with a group of 7 other friends, we were told to move our car to the basement car park with a height allowance with only 1.8m. Our rented van is too high to enter the car park. However, the valet still insists that we moved our car even though the luggage hasn't been unloaded. In the end, my friend decided to park at the valet parking with a rm 20 daily price tag. Which is ridiculous considering we are hotel guests and our van couldn't be parked at the basement car park.

Review 51:1. Asked for extra towel, towel given seem to be used and not washed. I didn't complain to the hotel because if I did, I had many other than just the towel. 2. Swimming pool looks beautiful in pictures, pathetically small in reality. 3. Renovating nearby gym during peak season. 4. hotel charges didn't tally to booking.Com price. During checked in, we requested for double bed but due to non-availability, they offered twin bed and they will assist to join the bed. Called was made to the room service. Review 74:I am travelling to Malaysia every year for almost two decades, half of that on business with the university there. I used to stay at Vistana before, but as the surrounding there has degraded, I tried Eastin this time. For almost double the price I got a smaller room, worse Wifi, no breakfast and a one-size-fits-all aircon. There is a thermostat but either its broken or useless, the staff said they'd fix it but nothing happened after mentioning it twice. Decided to turn it off and rather have it warm than having a freezing fan running. A few days later I stayed at the Le Meridien in K.L. for the same price and service and equipment were miles apart.

Review 78:Everything is almost perfect except for the CARPARK! It was a very challenging task to just get out from the car park. The way up from one floor to the other floor was so narrow! If you are driving a big car such as Alphard or even the Camry,I wish u best of luck and happy reversing and forwarding!
Review 79:The bed is very comfortable. Was given a king size bed. Everything were really clean. Nice environment. A baby cot was provided upon request. WiFi connection was fast. Air conditioner is cool enough..the shower in the toilet was excellent!

Review 83:On 28/12/2014 morning breakfast time, I saw all staff they are chefs, manager with wearing a cot they never stop their hand to serving ,cleaning table .When I drop a spoon and put back,one of manage quickly exchange a new spoon for the next user,100 mark for all staff.One of staff to use his finger to clean floor with a drop of sauce.I never seen before.
Review 84:Late checkout only until 1 pm. Requested until 2 pm to accommodate zohor prayer but not allowed unless half day charges being imposed. The hoteliers should be more flexible on the late check out policy to attract many muslim visitors.
Review 85:A clean hotel and an a good stay in Bayan Lepas. The location in the middle of the new township and next to the mall. Nice view facing pulau jerjak and the sea.

Review 91:I was disappointed that for the high cost of the hotel, it did not come with breakfast. Quite deceiving how the promotion and booking of the hotel is packaged. RM40 for breakfast per person seemed quite steep. We just went out to food court, saved Rm30 per person.
Review 92:Loved the room, small and cosy. Bed was comfortable. Sea view room is quite deceiving. You can see the sea across hundreds of roofs. Not as near as expected.
Review 93:The front desk who was checking me in has bad communication skills. They also couldn't retrieve my reservation, made under booking.com and blamed it on online glitches. The front desk's staff attitude was neither warm not friendly. The room didn't match the rate charged (ie a basic room but I had to pay RM620+16%+RM3) Way too expensive. Limited room facilities.
