Review 1：1. We were given a room on the third floor in section 2. Section 2 has NO elevators!!! Its quite a hike to the building as it is (hotel is built on the hillside) and then climb 3 flights of stairs... makes you think twice before leavind the room. They didnt mention that they offer golf carts to bring us to the building. They only told us when we complained about the distance and climbs! Why wouldnt they say this from the beggining? 2. Out of towels at pool at 17:00. Pool is open till 21:00 and they were out of fresh towels at 17:00. We asked if they are planning on bringing new ones later.... got a cold.. "no. No more towels today". 3. On the first day... we came back at 15:00. Room was not made... on day 2... room was cleaned but no new towels :(

Review 2：Pool is amazing. Beds are very comfortable. We left a camera in our room. They found it and sent to our new hotel in a different part of the island. They charged very fairly for this. We expected them to charge much more (considering all hotel extras like massage, food etc' were 4 times the price outside). We were pleasantly surprised here.

Review 3：There is a big problem with some of their staff... we ordered a room dining twice they did not show up at all once. They haven't even taken our orders. On the new years eve we ordered champagne, made sure they'd bring it to our room before the countdown begins, and they appeared 5 minutes past twelve which was ridiculous. The price compared to their quality was totally unsuitable.

Review 10：Communication between staff should be improved. Upon checking-in the check-in staff asked our check-out time. We requested if we can check-out at 2pm, after she checked she confirmed we can check-out at 2pm specially extended from the standard check-out time at 12pm however on the check-out date, we received a call from another staff asking when we are going to check-out. When I told it has been arranged at 2pm, can,t she see in the record but she said no, it's not in the record that's why she called us (got one call at 1230hrs but we didn't answer in time and another call at 1pm). By right if you have already asked the guests about the check-out time and it's confirmed the hotel should have the record not to call and chase the guests out before the time. And Wi-Fi connection was not stable and some of the area like at the swimming pool though not too far from the pool bar but was unable to access the WiFi, some area can be connected but always on and off and needed to keep logging-in again and over again.

Review 11：All the staff are very nice and polite especially Khun Chon the staff at Pool Bar, she is very nice and always greeted u with smiles. Though the staff who called us to check-out at least she still remained her politeness. Swedish massage was awesome, we loved it!

Review 12：But room service finishes at 22:30, and the swimming pool closes at 20:00. I don't ever smoke in the room, never, but it was forbidden to smoke even in your room's balcony. And it was a huge balcony. Annoying. I talked to the reception, eventually they gave me permission to have a cigarret outside in my balcony. Thanks. Overall great room.

Review 13：I got an upgrade for the suit room. Nice. I got a great deal on booking.com. I was already in NaiHarn, I had an extra night so decided to spend there. Just the night before got a great deal. Great view indeed. Huge room. Really nice bed. Overall great room. Great view, recommended.

Review 14：Quite far from the airport. Taxi driver didn't know where it was. Hotel shuttle was very expensive. Better to walk or find your own taxi.

Review 18：Not really unexpected, but if you want to go anywhere other than Nai Harn beach, you will need to hire a taxi or have a rental car. Although the concierge can book you local tours at a reasonable cost with hotel pickup included.

Review 19：Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Room was clean Grounds were kept in fantastic shape. Great View. Away from traffic. Close to Nai Harn Beach. Free bike rental for two hours. The hotel is on a hill and the rooms at the top can be a bit of a hike, so there are golf carts that will bring you back and forth to your room at any hour.

Review 20：Bike renting advartised as complimentary, but in fact they are free for only two hours, and then you have to pay the ridiculous price of 200 baht per hour; two hours are hardly enough to visit Promthep Cape, and definitely not enough to visit the Big Buddha. Once the cleaning staff left our door open; when we complained, the “manager on duty” bluffed that CCTV shows the staff locking the door; when we demanded seeing the CCTV, it turned out that it's not available and we got a compensation (buffet dinner).

Review 23：Sunsuri is totally different from the other hotels: location, buildings, rooms, pool area. What a view from balcony! Everything is super! Breakfast is excellent. If you first time in Thailand strongly recommend special Thai buffet evening. The best tempura in Surf restaurant! Definitely would stay again.

Review 32：Could not fault a single thing about Sunsuri Hotel. The staff were fabulous, our room was upgraded and it was absolutely gorgeous (highly recommend the deluxe suite). The service and entire facility was immaculate. The food was tasty and the location was a perfect 5 minute walk to the beautiful Nai Harn beach and across from a lake.

Review 33：It is Not 5 star hotel . It is 3 star horrible hotel located far away from the beach - minimum 30 min to go with cars and scooters to see the ocean. U go 20 min from swimming pool to ur room because it is located on the rock. No service at all: u need to sign for the towel at a swimming pool because they think u r going to still their dirty towel... Horrible, we paid for 14 days and escaped after one day to other hotel!!!! Of course this 3 star hotel never gave us back the money we have paid for 14 days Careful: do not make mistake: for this money u can find the hotel 100 times better and located at ocean!!! We moved to Pullman Arcadia and enjoyed 10 days at a beach and with really Thai service!!! It is really motel, not hotel

Review 34：- Shuttle Bus to the Beach should be offered more frequently - some guests did not know how to behave, but that is not the direct problem of the hotel.

The great thing about this resort is you don't have to leave if you don't want to. However, if you want to explore the beach, it is close by and you far away from the "dirty" areas of Phuket.

Review 40：- TV was small and the audio and video were perpetually out of sync - Towels were constantly soiled and tattered, even upon replacement - Distinct smell of urine in the hallway when we first arrived - Pretty far from the main shopping and nightlife areas, with limited songthaew and taxi options, but we knew this going in. - Overall, avoid if possible, there are better options, including in Nai Harn

Review 54：Maybe we have high standards but we definitely are not snobby about ourvacations. But there were so many things that could have made thisvacation much better as the rooms were very nice.We were very much disappointed by; 1) VERY POOR SERVICE - staff were not well trained at all. Not very friendly. This boils down to poor management, I don't blame the staff. If they have been trained well, they should know the basic levels of Greetings, service etc. 2) POOR BREAKFAST - this is very important to us to start the day, you want to be greeted by good energy, fresh breakfast selections but the selection was poor... everyday the same thing. And staff were not well trained. No greetings, no asking if we wanted coffee or tea. I could see staff used their bare hands to restock food for pastries, pancakes etc. Come on!?!? Where is the basic knowledge on hygiene??? 3) The Availability of the Buggy service: since the resort is situated on the hill side, the premise was very steep and needed to have the buggy service from one point to another... but it looked like they only have TWO BUGGIES for the entire resort... 4) ATTENTION TO DETAIL - sometimes some towels were missing in the bathroom 5) BEACH - a beautiful but very small beach, about ten mins walk, with no restaurants, bars etc.... inconvenient. A place with Potential but will NEVER stay here again.

Review 55：The only thing that we liked was the size of our Suite. We stayed at aSuite since we have a 2 year old toddler and need the separate spacesince the toddler goes to bed early. The rooms were spacious, twobathrooms, large balcony with a good view.

Review 56：Service is really horrible. They didn't change towel during the three days we stayed there. They only took away the dirty ones but never replace with the clean ones. So on the last day of our stay we only had 2 towel left. One of their staff told us the scrub is free if we want we can call the reception, but when we called them, they even didn't understand what is scrub. And they promised they will ask and call back, but we never got any feedback. For any request, you have to call the reception twice....... For the breakfast, they never come to ask what we want to drink, we had to find the waiter and ask for tea or coffee. I have to say it is the most horrible service I have ever had!!!

Review 57：The hotel is near Nai Harn Beach which is clean and with few people. Facilities are excellent. The hotel is built on a hill and a lake, so you will have very good view.

Review 68：Air conditioner kept switching on and off very loudly in order to maintain a temperature setting. Also, one of the staff entered the room at 5AM thinking it was empty, giving my pregnant partner a very big fright.

The pools are very clean and perfect for swimming or just relaxing. I was there beginning of May during low season and the resort was approx. 35% booked, I don't know how it is in peak season but I really enjoyed the silence!

Review 115：A new modern resort located near a quieter beach (which was still quite busy actually) in Phuket. Especially loved the hotel rooms and the pool.

Review 116：A lot of stairs to reach the room.. be sure not to forget something, cause it's a climb back up. The pool bar staff could be more pro-active, distributing and collecting towels and taking drink orders. House keeping staff should vacuum or sweep the floor daily with all that sand around Phuket.. The eggs at breakfast weren't very fresh..

Review 117：The rooms were great, smart design and use of space. Very nice seating area on balcony. We stayed in a deluxe room. Kids club and facilities were perfect. Amazing swimming pool. 5 minutes walk from the beach. All day breakfast even at 3pm included in the room. Very pleasant staff.

Review 125：Everything! From Molly who greeted us at the door to Chef Garfield and all the staff along the way I couldn't say anything g but good things. Staff were exceltionally efficient, professional and helpful with every request! Beautiful rooms that are maintained daily to an impeccable standard. The food and service at the Surf Restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the grounds were maintained beautifully. While away from the noise of busier areas still very accessible to all the nightlife in a taxi. Some people mention the location as a problem, for us it wasn't. The location is as described and there is still the beautiful beach and smaller restaurants close by. My favourite place in all of Thailand and probably the nicest food and complimentary tasters from the amazing Chef Garfield!! Thanks to all the staff for an amazing stay.

Review 126：no tooth brushes, When we checked out was charged for the Minibar (chokopie and nuts), but we does not eat anything from the minibar, I haven't time to investigation, not so great money, but I was a little bit confused

Review 128：Just a few very minor things not worth mentioning (e.g. i found bacon for breakfast to be too dry). Main thing is that location may not be great for some people - it's located away from the nightlife centers of Kata and Patong and there really isn't much around. So if you like to party or hang out with the crowd, you'll have to travel every evening. We had a rental car, and it's only a 15 minute drive, so wasn't a big deal for us, but with taxis or tuk-tuks it will require time and money.

Review 129：Everything pretty much. This is a great hotel, very new, very clean, with an excellent pool, free wifi and very nice breakfast. Staff is friendly and ready to cater for your requests. Located just 5 minutes away from Nai Harn beach, you can borrow towels, bikes, all for free. There are 2 bars with a good choice of drinks.
