Review 1：The room service really was excellent and quick but maybe some tea and coffee making facilities in the room?

Review 2：The staff were wonderful. We knew we were arriving early so asked if the room could be available early which it was. The service was excellent and the room service was great too and not expensive. Fabulous central location and close to good restaurants - that said the hotel has great food too. And as for the views over the marina...stunning! What a great place.

Review 13：Our room for the first night was over a busy main road but as the room had triple glazing it was not a problem. We could hear the drone of tyres on cobbles next morning and without that extra glazing it would have been noisy.

Review 14：The staff on reception were wonderful, informative, cheery and always ready to help. We stayed one night on arrival but returned for two more later. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was very good. The hotel is situated on the harbour and we had a lovely water view on the second visit.

Review 15：Weak unusable wifi in our room with tedious repetitive login procedure - despite excellent facility I will choose another hotel next time because internet access is important to me for bookings, travel research etc. Breakfast was average, with long life milk and instant coffee - coffee was lukewarm on my last day and staff member was nonplussed when I pointed this out

Review 17：Where to start? The 2nd floor smells terrible: it is full of mould and humidity and nothing is done to mitigate this. It has carpet everywhere- by the sea! Our bedroom was over bearing with the smell and humidity: we had to sleep with the window open to reduce it as best we could. The bathroom is mouldy and dirty. The breakfast was poor. In general the hotel needs remodeling to 21st century health standards.

My room was opened without knocking on 23 November and an apparent maid entered. Reported this to reception on departure as I realised that the woman was not the maid cleaning those rooms.Wifi was not available in room.TV and standard lamp not working and only power point was loose in wall

We stayed more than 10 hotels during the trip and all booked through booking.com, this is the only hotel ask for the deposit, we don' know why. No one ever made contact regarding the issue. Disgraceful.. I could forgive the whistle but poor attitude from staff and management means I would neither stay here or recommend it.

Review 62：No serious setbacks. The WiFi served had crashed in the morning. It wasn't back on until late afternoon (a Sunday).

Review 63：The location right next to the harbour. The view over the sea and harbour from the rooftop terraces and the restaurant where breakfast is served. The general feeling of quality accommodation. The breakfast consisted of a large variety of foods.

Review 64：The weather was not so good, plenty of rain and many areas had recently been flooded due to the heavy thunderstorm earlier on in the day.

Review 65：Our plane got diverted to Seville due to a thunderstorm over Faro and so we arrived six hours later than planned. Reception kindly allowed us to have our room for an extra hour the following day so that we could use the sauna. Thank-you :) I like the location, the comfort, the service and the facilities. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We also tried the hotel shuttle which was very efficient. This is the second time I have stayed here and I would definitely come back again.

Waited till table available, Ok, sat for 10mins weren't offered a drink and table was not set for further 5mins then we had to ask for soup spoons, several people walked out as no acknowledgement of us or them being there, then the food was very so so.

Rate was bed and breakfast but had early morning start (left hotel for airport at 05.30) but only packed breakfast available from night before: small packet of juice; an apple; ham and cheese sandwich - bread hard and unappetizing; small sponge cake. Must be many guests who use hotel for airport so this was a bit disappointing.

Review 92：A one night stop over after flying in. Arrived late Sunday evening and super snack meal available. A comfortable room and a good night's sleep followed by breakfast in a dining room overlooking the marina. Full marks all round.

Review 93：My only disappointment was that the Scotland vs Gibraltar football game was being held the weekend of my visit and a stage and beer tents had been erected on the marina to keep the fans occupied. This meant music and drunken singing until the early hours for three of the four nights we were there. No indication that this event was taking place when booking was given.

Review 106：The room downstairs, was very small and a large mirror at the end of the bed would have made it feel bigger, and also would have meant you could put makeup on & get ready if someone was in the bathroom! The plug in the sink didn't work.

Review 112：LOCATION - very close to bus station both the regional one and the local one for the airport bus [just a few more metres along the road]. Also right in the marina area, and just across the road from the pedestrian streets, and just down the road to the large arched entrance to the old town. Everything within easy walking distance. Plenty of eating places close by. STAFF - really pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, even to post a postcard, and store our luggage, and then return later to rest in the foyer and use the internet after we had checked out. BREAKFAST - great food with great views out over the marina and coast. Could even make your own pot of tea and there was good hot coffee and hot milk too. ROOM - plenty of room to lay out suitcases. Balcony. Good bathroom. WIFI - finally free wifi that worked pretty well!

Review 113：The bed was rock hard. They put a topper on the matress which made little difference . Receptionist agreed that the matresses were poor and stated 'when I come back to the hotel after a holiday it takes me a while to get used to the beds!' Honest answer but not much use when you only have 7 nights to 'get used' to ! My Wife and I did not have 1 good nights sleep and quite often just layed there with back pain. At Breakfast you could see that virtually everybody had trouble walking with their aches and pains. Not a sleepy / relaxing holiday that we were expecting.
