Reviews for Anker Brygge
Review 1:Amazing cosy place! Right in front of sea. Well-designed as fisherman house and very warm. Breakfast is great and variety, there are a lot of food :) owners were so hospitality that granted us a late check-out:) thank u so much! we will definitely come back here again!
Review 2:Warm and cosy. Great underfloor heating in the bathroom (and other rooms but bathroom particularly). Good location - overlooking harbor & Svinoya but short walk into town. Bar & restaurant close by. Good breakfast with wide choice.
Review 3:Reception was closed, I would rather have known that beforehand. Some of the blinds were broken and couldn't be closed properly. Noisy ventilation in bathroom.
Review 4:Location and scenery. Breakfast (at the Scandic Hotel)
Review 5:These self-catering units are like ground-level apartments placed on a pier where tourists stroll, and as the midnight sun provides daylight 24/7 you will have people walking in front of your kitchen, living room and bed room windows at all hours. It does not feel private and if you sit outside your own unit, it's like sitting on a sidewalk cafe.
Review 6:Comfort, space, cleanliness. Excellent units nicely located.
Review 7:The house had two bedrooms and we only had the key for one, which left us wondering if other guests were going to turn up and share the place with us. The breakfast was a little basic compared to the overall cost of the accommodation.
Review 8:Great location close to the centre of Svolvær but also right on the fjord.
Review 9:Nothing
Review 10:The best fishercabin experience ever, midnight sun, storm, rain, sun, an enormous seagull knocking on my window, panorama view to the sea and the port, quiet but a boat here and there. Even got to finish my poetry collection. Absolutely perfect!
Review 11:Quiet but central spot on an island in the harbour. Arriving after dark off the Hurtigruten boat, the hotel is in sight a few minutes walk away. After a good night's sleep we awoke to a very pretty scene of boats on sparkling water backed by snowy mountains. The included breakfast buffet (at the adjacent Scandic Hotel) was excellent.
Review 12:This was our favorite hotel in Norway. Check in was easy, despite our late arrival. We had an entire cabin to ourselves which stepped out to the dock. We had very bad weather the day we were in Svolvaer, the staff allowed a late check-out at no charge since almost all excursions were cancelled that day. We thought that was very generous since the ferry was not arriving until the evening. It probably helped that it was low season....
Review 13:the level is never 4 stars. Reception is not open allways. The guy in the bar was not helpfull. Bathroom was dirty and level of place would be ok for 800. Totaly overpriced and not worth to spend. No value for your money!
Review 14:getting wet on the way to breakfast; it is not a full-service hotel but more of a motel in style
Review 15:Nice style, excellent location, first rate restaurant, helpful staff.
Review 16:Very poor wifi reception throughout the rorbu. Lighting was very poor. Kept hitting head on low slung chandelier by sofa!

Review 42:Not cheap
Review 43:Great ambience in the room and restaurant. Nice location near centre of town, and with water view out of window
Review 44:Very expensive. We paid NOK2000 per night.
Review 45:Our restored fisherman's cottage had all the charm you would expect from a village like this. Absolute quiet and peace. The associated bar/pub and the restaurant 1 minutes walk away. Meals at both these places were exceptional.
Review 46:The little cottages by the harbour were unusual and comfortable. Made a nice change from regular hotel rooms. Location was good and staff were excellent. Good restaurants nearby.
Review 47:a bit overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was ok but when paying 1990 NOK a night we expected a bit more.
Review 48:We stayed in a rorbu cabin which had a small terrace with sun until 10pm which was very nice. The rorbu self was ok. Nothing fancy. The employees at the reception were very helpful when you wanted to go for a hike or plan any other activities. Overall we had a very nice stay however we think it is a bit overpriced for what you get.
Review 49:Cosy but spacious cabin, excellent location on fjord watching all the activity on the water. Very good choice at breakfast. Quiet at night.
