Reviews for Hostel Situla

Review 1:The breakfast was not tasting (bread not fresh, no variety) and the service was not very responding. But to be fair, we must stress that it was during the off-season. However, other hostels have fared much better.

Review 2:That we were able to park our car in this awfully cramped town, thanks to Hostel Situla ;-) .

Review 3:Smell from the kitchen, smell of old oil from the fryer was really uncommon for the hostel. Bad coffee at the breakfast. Noisy Street. To many cars in old town, the old town is not closed for the cars.

Review 4:Location is good; bed is nice, clean and comfortable.

Review 5:Loved this place. Nice spot in central Izola, which gives you a break from busy Koper or Piran. Lockers were sizeable and bathrooms clean. Staff super nice :) Breakfast was coffees and croissants; simple and great.

Review 6:Nothing

Review 7:The six bed dorm is really nice and comfortable and the bathroom facilities are clean too. The hostel is in the town centre and close to cafés and restaurants, while still being a quiet place to rest. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient, plus they had secure storage for my bicycle. I had a pleasant night here and I'd recommend this place to anyone passing through the area.

Review 8:No lamp or at least a switcher near the bed in the room for handicapped people. No hangers in the bathroom. Floor of the bathroom always very wet and slippery. Poor breakfast

Review 9:Historic building which is very nice renovated within the life of the town. Helpful and friendly staff.

Review 10:WiFi not working on the last floor room. Also nothing to store my stuff: no chair, no lockers, no shelf.

Review 11:Staff, Gaspar(?), took care of a problem like I was a guest in his own house. Other staff also veeery nice. The room on the last floor is beautiful, magic: 6 normal beds (no bunk), panoramic, wooden slanted ceiling, wooden walls, wooden floor, wooden beds (matrass and pillow fortunately not).

Review 12:We stayed in the 6 bed attic which was completely open to the rest of the hostel so we could hear everything (1st night was quiet, so ok. 2nd night was busier). Not a lot of privacy in the bathrooms. The shower in the girls bathroom didn't have a cubicle, and the heavy sliding door was often left open for all to see.

Review 13:Excellent location, basic but good breakfast, clean

Review 14:We left a message via Booking.com that we'd arrive at 10 p. m. Additionally we tried to call the hostel several times on the day of arrival to confirm the time of arrival. Nobody answered the phone. When we arrived at 10 p. m., nobody was at the reception. We could arrange to contact a person that worked at the hostel, he came after about 20 min.

Review 15:The hostel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We got a huge discount because of the inconveniences we had at the arrival.

Review 16:No window blind in room.

Review 17:Great service. Friendly and very helpful staff. Wonderful, labyrinthine building in excellent location. Peaceful garden area and terraces. Set lunches are good. Clean and comfortable.

Review 18:Poor breakfast sunday, better monday.

Review 19:Friendly staff and nice and clean facilities.

Review 20:The hostel is very clean and everything looks nice and new. It has a nice, big garden, as well as two big balconies.

Review 21:be aware that wc and shower are shared

Review 22:staff Location

Review 23:had to call to be let in. No curtains on the windows. Not private.

Review 24:quiet and clean

Review 25:Womens shower needs a thorough clean.

Review 26:Great value in a lovley place.

Review 27:they acted as there was no reservation to be found, just because they failed to keep track of their schedule. they gave us a whole dorm of eight beds instead of the 2-bed room we had reserved, on the same price. generally too pricy for their services and for a small town in slovenia.

Review 28:friendly staff and low-cost facilities

Review 29:Very clean right in the center

Review 30:I did not like hotel being so quiet and depressed.

Review 31:I liked hotel being nice and clean.

Review 32:Location close (50m)to the main square. Free parking on the main square after 17.00.

Review 33:access to attic - steep stairs, low ceiling noisy neighbours

Review 34:price (6-bed attic) location
