Reviews for Bayside Square Kaike Hotel
Review 1:Small but nicely designed room with a great view of the sea. The onsen was fantastic, and selecting your own yukata among the huge selection of patterns was a very neat idea. The isakaya restaurent was inexpensive and had a great selection of food.
Review 2:Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful..... Friendly and helpful staff.... Very nice onsen..... But horrible smoking restaurants (but it is not there fault).....
Review 3:Next to "red light" bar alley for men. No restaurants near by. Staff soeak no English.
Review 4:Ocean view and public free street spring water foot baths
Review 5:Unless you love just looking at the ocean, kaikeonsen itself is a bit depressing, with not a lot to see or do.
Review 6:Room was huge, and has very nice onsen baths. One of the newest properties in Kaikeonsen , which has been well kept and is extremely clean. Was worth the extra few dollars for a ocean view room, if you get the garden view room, you have s small window overlooking the parking lot.
Review 7:I ordered a non-smoking room. We got a room that smelt of smoke and had an ash tray on the table!
Review 8:Fantastic value for money. Modern hotel, spacious room with great sea view. Better than some 5-star hotels I've stayed in.

Review 32:Room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is good for rest. The staffs are friendly though they can't speak English. Good to have dinner include.
Review 33:There should have a label for the forest water not to drink in English, Korean, and Chinese. My son ended up drinking the forest water since he could not read the Japanese warning. Fortunately he did not get sick.
Review 34:The tatami area was very nice and quite Japanese-like. The breakfast was very nice with many different dishes. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Review 35:1) Restaurant only provides simple breakfast in tranditional Japanese style, and not so many choices. 2) Communcaiton problem as the staffs cannot speak English. 3) Cannot search the right position of this hotel after keying in the tel phone # in the GPS system several times. We also tried the restaurant phone # but in vain. At the end we key in the hotel address step by step and reached the hotel at last. After arrival, we did check with the hotel staff but they confirmed the phone # we had is correct. Very weird!
Review 36:1) Rooms are big, clean and very comforable. Nice onsen areas. 2) Good facilities in the hotel, and it's just 1-2 mins. walk to the seaside. 3) Room rate is attactive by considering the above mention. 4) Staffs are friendly.
Review 37:the location had limited facilities, only one restaurant outside the hotel and a lot of seedy men's clubs. Hotel restaurant pretty basic
Review 38:seaview, tatami table area, huge bed
Review 39:i can't think of any negatives!
Review 40:I can't say enough good things about this place! The room was HUGE (by Japanese standards) and the bed was nice and big too. We loved the tatami area with the beautiful sea view. Their selection of fancy yukata was a fun perk too! The Onsen was also quite lovely. There were many different baths and even an open air bath overlooking the sea! It was incredibly relaxing. We hope to return to Bayside Square again. It really was a treat!
