Review 1：Monika and Kjell were awesome. We accidentally booked a single room for the two of us but they happily rose to the occasion and brought in a portable bed. Also Kkell went out of his way to take us to the train station to buy tickets and drop us off at the bus boat. Not only that he delivered our bags to the train station so we could enjoy touring Karlstad without lugging them around. I highly recommend a stay here.

Review 3：I enjoyed the calm and cosy atmosphere at Älvnära Bed & Breakfast. The house was freshly renovated and very clean, the breakfasts included only organic foods and were always very savory. It was soothing to look out of the kitchen window in the mornings and to see all the green in the garden and in the nearby forest. But above all, I was impressed by the hospitality and kindness of the innkeepers Monnika and Kjell – the two suns of Karlstad.
Review 4：A great place with the kindest and most help full hosts. I had a special request for some extra lunch boxes which they easily prepared without problems. Great, calm place, with beautiful breakfast. A wonderful place, when traveling for work. Very homely and far more attractive than any hotel.
Review 5：The bathroom was across a hallway, not a private one although no one else seemed to be using it the one night I was there.
Review 6：I was greeted warmly by Monnika and her husband who own the b&b. As it gets dark really early in December, I had some difficulty finding the place but thanks to the iPhone, got there, albeit late. Breakfast was prepared when I wanted.

Review 8：Monnika was so gracious and hospitable. She was completely accommodating with everything I needed. I tried not to take advantage of her hospitality, and I hope that I didn't. I can tell she has put a lot of effort into starting Älvnära and I wish her success. Four of my favorite things about Älvnära B&B (besides Monnika's friendly nature): (1) The rooms are beautiful furnished, bright, clean, and inviting. (2) There is a peaceful garden behind the building. (3) The organic breakfast is delicious. (4) You have to try the organic breakfast! I mean it!
