Review 1：No stable, normal, internet connection via WiFi available. WiFi connection is OK, but there is no internet that you can count on, if you want to do some work or if you want to watch TV, listen radio via internet. Internet connection not available. The rooms were not cleaned during my stay for over a week.

Review 6：Room was very clean, but overall the establishment had the feel of an old-style dorm. For one night, it was fine, however I would not have wanted to stay for multiple nights.
Review 7：A bit noisy due to the fact that it is located between two roads. Shared shower although we did not have to wait to take a shower. Check in until 8 PM. The bedcovers were not clean.
Review 8：The staff was welcoming and very gentle. The room was basic but clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel is 10 min walk by a bike path from Karlstad center. Good location. Free on spot parking.

Review 16：Reception was pretty weird and unfriendly. Rooms are old. Hardly saw staff. Breakfast was really bad. They leave pastry out the night before. There is some stuff in the fridge too but very limited choice. We were all very glad we only booked for one night and could leave fast. The city is about a 20' walk away, which is ok. It's certainly the least inviting place we stayed in during our Scandinavia trip. I read some very positive reviews here; I can only assume things changed a lot lately. If we're ever near Karlstad again we'll certainly avoid this place.

A warm welcome from the staff at arrival, big, spacious rooms with own toilets, free parking, just a short stroll alongside the canal to the city centre. Nice, "help your-self" breakfast with a free newspaper. Dirt cheap as well. Highly recommended.
