Review 1：It's an old building, so minor features like the kitchen and bathroom are very old. I did not necessarily have any bad experience there, but it is something to be noted if you are looking for more comfortable accommodations. The bathroom is typical Korean style with no tub or shower stall, simply a shower head above the toilet. For the first night, I was the only guest in the women's dormitory, so it wasn't a problem. However, if there were 10 women in a full room, bathroom use might have been an issue. Overall, for the price it was good.
Review 2：The location is great, walked just minutes to two different beaches. On the next street over there are a variety of restaurants, mostly seafood places, offering something for everyone - even a smaller, cheaper menu for solo travelers. Staff was very nice, showed me around the area, gave me instructions on how to use the kitchen equipment to make my own breakfast. Had a small common area to chat with other guests and they even have bikes for rent on location. It is not difficult to get to, as there are buses directly to both Gyeongpo beach and Gangmun beach. As long as I am traveling alone, I would absolutely stay there again.

Review 9：It was difficult to get to places a little bit further afield. There were absolutely no staff there at any time after check in, and we stayed for 3 nights. It was sollal when we went, but if we had wanted any help or information it would have been difficult to get it.
Review 10：It was extremely cheap and we were free to use the common room and kitchen facilities at any time. It was basic, clean, and everything that we expected. The beach was on our doorstep, and the view of the mountains from the hostel were incredible.
Review 11：Really friendly and comfortable guesthouse. Will definitely go there again. Great location for the beach. The customer service from staff was brilliant. We slept in and missed breakfast so, without asking, they brought us tea and homemade sandwiches.
Review 12：Nothing. Location is suuuuper nice, 5 minutes to the seaside. Boss is too cute. Boss family is too nice. Room is too big. Garden is too beautiful. Everything in Gangneung is like a dream.
Review 13：The first day we got there, boss drove to pick us up. Helped us with the luggage, spent 2 hours planning a better schedule for us with all the details, including the time of the bus and train, distance from one place to another place, price of the taxi. And drove us to change the train ticket, even treated us with free dinner since it was too late to find restaurants after everything was done. Helped us order the best fried chicken. Free laundry, free bicycle. That night we rode 5 minutes to the seaside, wonderful!! We told boss that we need to catch the earliest train to Seoul the next day, he immediately set the alarm clock at 6am in order to pick us up without hesitation. The next day he got here on time to pick us up, on the way to the train station, he saw our train ticket and told us that it would cost less time to go to Seoul by bus than train. So he helped us again to change the train ticket to the bus. It turned out that it did save us 2 more hours to get to Seoul. When we said goodbye to boss, we hugged like a family, there was tears in our eyes. Only one day but we felt like at home. Too much thanks for the boss family, too little time to stay in Gangneung. Next time when I go to Korea, I would definitely go to Gangneung and stay at this guesthouse again.
