Review 1：This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were a little disappointed, this time. We were in a ground floor room this time, which was a little noisy, not as private, and also worn and tired compared to the first floor room we had last time, which was excellent. En suite needed a face lift. Shower was grubby!

Review 2：Excellent location for Evora or an overnight stop when touring. Good selection of food on the buffet breakfast and evening buffet. Reception very helpful. Evening restaurant staff excellent.

Review 3：Close to the historical center, but our GPS took us in a totally wrong direction. The night we were there the room cards in our section of the hotel weren't working, so we had to have staff help us a few times enter the room. Not a big problem, but a bit of a nuisance.

Review 4：The room was nice. The bed was a little soft, but that's a matter of individual taste. There was a very good dinner buffet (12.5 euro and well worth it). The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Review 5：Swimming pool very dirty. Buffet - stay away! Limited choice entre. The pork was pink almost raw inside. Then on check out they didn't give an itemised bill only a credit card receipt. Later in the day we realized they had overcharged us. When we called they said it was for three pasta dishes and something else that we had with the buffet! They said they would refund to our card but 3 calls and four emails later we're still waiting.

Review 15：The hotel has no lift, what is in my opinion really a problem. On the other hand wi/fi was not working. Despite of these I wanted to give a 10 score because the people were extremely kind and helping to solve for example this internet connection problem. I was allowed to use their own connection.

Review 16：Checked with reception the day before we left to tell them we were leaving early. They told me everything was in order and we could just leave. When we left we were basically accused of leaving without paying by a very curt man even though all our credit card info was with reception.

Review 21：The 'a la carte' dinner was a dire attempt to offer more than the buffet style food they offer at lunch and dinner. Both main courses were totally inedible, my husband's skewered beef raw spirals of sinewy meat, my lamb chops more like a tastefully stacked pile of dog toys.The prawns in puff pastry were the Lidl frozen jobs.

Review 23：The mattress was dreadful springs coming through, had a dreadful sleepless night, told reception but no reaction except to say they would be looking into it. Otherwise very happy with the stay.

Review 30：For us, it was a fabulous location; just outside Evora in countryside, yet a straight short run to Evora centre. 5 star staff, friendly, warm, professional. Loved our deluxe bedroom patio and facilities. The Restaurant was most convenient and offered excellent food; great cook with a good variety of food and drinks; good value for money. Personal and friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend.

Review 31：If you are coming by night, it is easy to miss the hotel's driveway entrance . Some road signs or a better illuminated driveway would be helpful!

Review 32：Clean and very comfortable hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. Although situated near the main road, it was very quiet. Good breakfast, lots of parking space. Historic center of Evora is just a few minutes by car from the hotel I would most definitely recommend this hotel!

Review 35：Just to add to my last review of this place. There is another smaller coffee machine next to the big one that serves reasonable expressos, so the breakfast was not too bad!

Review 36：You must have a car as it's quite a long way from the city and there is nowhere else to eat nearby. Breakfast was disappointing given everything else - vile coffee, I thought, stewed eggs and sausage and only the cheapest cheese and salami. Unless you got a very good deal, like I did, give it a miss.

Review 37：Very friendly staff who spoke excellent English (not to mention many other languages). Large comfortable room with big private terrace and well appointed modern bathroom with huge shower. Nice bed with good linen. Evening buffet good value (Euros 12.50 inc 1 drink, Euros 15 unlimited drinks), though hot courses a bit stewed (perhaps inevitably), the cold stuff was varied and tasty. The Alentejo wine served with the buffet was very good, I thought. Will go back there again!

Review 39：This hotel offered good value for money outside Evora, for which you pay a premium in all other regards...made a good stop off on our way back to Lisbon, with very reasonably priced buffet evening meal, and a more than adequate breakfast.

Review 40：The pool access is the worst! One has to leave the building at the main entrance, through the parking lot, to the pool. This access should be reworked. A mini-fridge or mini-bar in the room would have been nice.
