Placed on top of a hill overlooking the East Sea, Sun Cruise Resort offers spacious rooms with sweeping view of the surroundings. This cruise ship-shaped resort offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant, with free WiFi access throughout the resort.
Sun Cruise Resort’s rooms, suites and studios are all equipped with air conditioning and heating. They come with a TV, a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Complete with a bath, private bathroom comes with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Studios and Suites also come with a full kitchen.
The resort is surrounded by a sculpture garden and walking trails that overlooks the ocean. Along with the seasonal outdoor pool, guests can use the fitness centre. Review 1：Staff was not too helpful....got in late and staff could not help with food options at all...stated no deliveries which is fine but the hotel restaurant was closed by 10pm had to walk to a convenience store about 15 mins away for snacks

Review 8：1. fantastic hotel. the entire hotel is built like a cruise ship. there is a deck and observation hall. night scene of hotel is spectalular. at the seaside below, there is the yacht, actually a building with restaurant and souvenier shop. many interesting things there. giant hands to greet the sunrise. panoramic ocean view from the cliff. 2. has a convenience shop at the basement. 3. very good restaurant serving Korean and western food at a reasonable price. 4. small town down the hill with lots of Korean food and train station. definitely recommend this hotel.

Review 17：The staff is not helpful and unfriendly. Asked for late check-out and morning call but never receive any ring. Also, on regular check-out time the front desk keep calling and asking to leave the room even though we absulutely got confirmed 1 hr late check-out from front desk the day before departure.

Review 18：There was no water in the pool. Poor Connection with the little village and the beach. We had to walk everytime. The wifi was very slow and didn't work in many places. The restaurant had poor service, very regular food but high prices. In general the staff didnt speak English at all.

Review 20：The hotel is lovely but in a very remote area so unless you like a lot of fresh fish you will not enjoy it. We went may time so there wasn't any water in the pools or chairs on the balcony. The staff cannot speak any English so it's very hard to communicate With them. Our friends stayed in a double Deluxe room and they asked for 22000 more won to clean it surely a 5* hotel should at least clean it and not leave fresh towels on the floor

Review 28：For 130 000 Krw a night for single economy room without breakfast, I would have liked a pick up from train station. I would expect someone to carry my bags from reception to my room. And would expect minimum communication in English whether at reception of on the room info. Maybe a shuttle onto town few times a day should be included? Kitchen atea was damaged in many places, poor maintenance,.December is the wrong time of year to visit. Water features are frozen, park got yellow grass and wrapped up trees. Museum about the hotel on deck doesn't include any English or other language translation. Maybe a handout could be provided to use during visit?

Review 34：It is located on top of a hill. No shuttle bus service to beach or town area. Taxi not readily available from train station. Had a hard time carrying haversack uphill. After reaching the hotel , the staff can help to call taxi to the destination we want to visit. However, every destination will require us to call for taxi. Bus timing is every 2 hrs.

Review 35：The park is nice. Beautiful view for sunrise but unfortunately it was too cloudy during my stay. My room was facing the ocean so great view too. Comfy bed.

Review 36：Despite being advertised as having air-conditioning we were informed it was too cold for it. Our room was 30 degrees c... Too hot to sleep without air con! After complaining twice we were allowed it on for an hour after which it was switched off centrally. Given we paid double for our accommodation here than for anywhere else in Korea (all of which had air con) we were disappointed. No wi-fi despite being advertised. Also - do not order a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in the restaurant! You have been warned (it tastes like sickly sweet port)!

Review 38：'-Very rough staff. Booked a room for 4 ppl but found only 2 sets of sanitary in toilet. Requested to add 2 more but was told to wait until 6pm (2 more hrs to go) & finally lost temper when we asked to provide immediately. -Broken washing basin. The water was come out from the broken pipe underneath and wet the floor.

Room description does not comply to booking.com description. Example: if you book a 4 Adult room 1 person has to sleep on the floor. 4. Bed is just Queen size for 2 Persons. 5. Squaremeters of room size does not comply with booking.com description. 6. Breakfast: Booking.com description does not show a fixed menu. Yoghurt and fruit you will get only for an ADDITIONAL charge. Not included in your breakfast booking. Which means: If you eat for 3 consecutive days fried eggs you and jam you know what i am talking about. Orange juice just ONE half a glass filled and ONE coffee NO REFILL. Final opinion: overpriced and hidden cost. Allover i was deeply dissapointed but i tried to compensate with the beautiful area of Jongdongjin. Hope this is helpful for you.

Review 42：We were there on 4th of July weekend and nothing was open in the hotel, the pool was closed until july 11 no kaeroke nothing was advertised so we had no clue our girls were pretty bored. I booked a room for four adults and two queen beds but our room only had a queen and a twin bed!

Review 44：Restaurant prices were a bit too high for the quality of food. Bathroom did not have a shower curtain, which with children who want to take a shower can make for a very wet bathroom floor.

Review 45：Kids loved the concept. Went right before peak season (mid July) and basically had pool and beach to ourselves. Room a/c worked well. Had a room on the sculpture garden side and had a terrific view of the sunrise.
