Review 34：We liked everything about our stay here, we had read the reviews prior to booking and after staying here can now confirm that this B&B sets the standard for others to aspire to. Sulmona is a lovely, interesting ancient town, situated in the wonderful Abruzzi Region of Italy and this B&B is situated in the centre allowing you easy walking access to everything. Marta and Carmini ensured that our stay here was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. As I have already said everything was absolutely top notch however the breakfast on top of the roof terrace with such a wonderful 360 degree panoramic view warrants a special mention. There was so much on offer with almost all of it produced by a member of Marta's family and by her, all "home grown" wonderful, typical regional food, it was set out so well that initially we didn't want spoil the fantastic display but that passed quite quickly and we tried a bit of everything, incredible. We will be revisting Sulmona but will only do so if we stay here.

Review 37：The streets of Salmon are difficult to navigate by car narrow and awkward. However that's hardly the fault of the hotel and adds to the charm of the city once you have parked your vehicle (which the hotel helps you with).

Marta was exceptionally kind and helpful and prepared a delicious homemade breakfast on her lovely rooftop patio overlooking Sulmona. We were so sorry we could not stay longer but would come back in a heartbeat!

Salmon a was a surprise worth visiting.

Review 43：Where to start? This place is delightful. Filled with quality antiques whilst retaining a very cosy yet private ambiance. It is difficult to describe how well Marta balances your privacy alongside such a homely feeling.

We spent hours on the rooftop with wine, which was fabulous! Just outside our room was a courtyard, which felt like an extension of the room and we used this space often as the wifi is better, and to lounge on the couches to read or write. The hostess Marta and staff are the best; so helpful and kind and friendly. Breakfast.... All homemade and meats and cheeses and eggs from the family farm. Could not ask for better. Loved this place!

The breakfast left nothing to be desired by the way - all is personally met by Marta.Also, the Cleaning Team is friendly and very accommodating.Conclusion: "Why a Hotel? Review 56：Upon arrival to Sulmona, we had a very difficult time finding the B&B. We had to ask for directions. Eventually we left the car and walked with two locals to locate the B&B. Very difficult to find plus some streets are very narrow. We were skeptical at first when we noticed abandoned homes and wondered what we got ourselves into. Once we entered, the oversized door, our fears were over.
