Review 1：The owners, the Ryckaert family, were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and the room we stayed in was a good size, with table and chairs, wardrobe and a good sized en suite. There was also a mosquito screen over one of the windows which was very useful to let air in but keep insects out (everywhere in Bruges should offer this). It may be a few miles out of Bruges, but it was a great base for cycling to Bruges, Sluis and even Ghent. Lots of information was available about the local area. Although near a main road, rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet.
Review 2：It is not really a bad experience and I knew about it when I booked the room, but it is worth mentioning that the hotel bar closes at 8 pm and there are no restaurants or bars nearby; yet the hotel has a list of places that could be reached by car or you could drink your own beer in the hotel's yard.
Review 3：The hotel is very close to Bruges, the rooms are big, they have bathroom with bathtub, breakfast was good (though some veggies would have been nice to have) and the owners are very reactive, nice and helpful with info.

Review 6：Very friendly owner! Helped us greatly while in desperate search for a restaurant on a Saturday night. (restaurant advice: t' Pleintje in Donk!) Good breakfast, and comfortable room. It was quite audible when our neighbors left early in the morning, but I blame them more than the hotel. Maldegem was located perfectly between Gent en Brugge, and formed the perfect place to stay for our weekend trip.
Review 7：would expect more from "family" hotel, stuff wasn 't too bad, but have got a bit weird experience. in hotel have got problems with flies... I killed about 30-40 in one night (a bit annoying). Location is good to visit cities, but on the main road ... so, a bit noisy sometimes.

Review 30：All was fantastic! Very, very friendly staff, amazingly clean hotel and rooms. Wonderful breakfast - a great value for money! We stayed three nights and enjoyed the comfort of the rooms and location. Again, wonderful. Surroundings are very beautiful, great for walking. The village of Maldegem is rather near and offers many cafés and restaurants. A great place to visit!

Review 46：We pulled into the spacious car park and our hosts greeted us with an enthusiastic smile and offer of a drink, this how it started and just got better. The room was spotless, spacious, light and well decorated a credit to the owner. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and fresh every day enough to keep you going all day.
