Reviews for Paradise Village

Review 1:Terrible value for money, absolute remote, very bad bar and selection of drinks, unfriendly staff, very very basic rooms. In addition booking.com charged more than twice what the hotel advertised when we checked in (as they did not even receive our booking)

Review 2:They do not have enough personnel to handle check-ins. The wait times could be 20-30 minutes - and that is standing in the line.

Review 3:The surroundings are awesome. Greenery everywhere.

Review 4:The caged lion in such a small cage with no interaction with any thing else alive. So sad and not necessary; as an attraction it was heart breaking to see; not enjoyable.

Review 5:How friendly and helpful all the staff are. They made our stay exceptional especially for my husband who was afraid to go to Mexico: that is not the case any more. We will be back!

Review 6:That the Ice cream was not included on the all inclusive (gold) when any alcohol beverage is more than what the ice cream was (33 pesos).

Review 7:Everything!!! The staff was excellent.

Review 8:We booked a romm with sea view but when we arrived they said thatthrough this service "Booking.com" they do not include thebest rooms but only "standard" ones. So we have to pay extrafor each day in order to have the room we wanted in the beginning

Review 9:The services provided by hotel personnel during Patricia Hurricane

Review 10:There was a lot of construction around the property. Very low-key activities during the day (if at all).

Review 11:The one room kitchenette was very accomadating. Good size fridge to store things for moderately long stay. Pool was always clean and has two waterslides. Very attentive service staff around the pool and beach areas.

Review 12:I stayed 2 weeks at the Grand Mayan and Grand Bliss prior to staying at Paradie Village. Paradise village just needs a new makeover as it's much older and not near as lavish.

Review 13:Price was economical for a resort

Review 14:1) One elevator out of service, this created delays in displacement. 2) Not enough parking lots at nights.

Review 15:1) In overall, I liked the place, the hotel installations, the swimming pool schedule, the friendly staff. 2) I had to call to maintenance people due to a problem with the fan, excellent service; the problem was fixed quickly.

Review 16:The food was thumbs down...ate at the pool side bar and at the sit down restaurant (had menu plus buffet- buffet was real disappointing)..This just wasn't great place for our family - all pool events were not bilingual like they are at other places and they were instantly bored there. We stayed 2 nights then moved to MARIVAL up the road 6 miles.

Review 17:2 bedroom unit had kitchen so we didn't have to order food at restaurants and there's a mall right outside of facility w/ 3 great places to eat and a food store to stock up on things like water, breakfast stuff and liquor.

Review 18:Saw a lot of people who were bothered by the sun, simply because there were no parasols nearby the pool. Suggest to arrange for a couple to provide for better sun protection.

Review 19:Hotel has all the comforts you need. Staff is very helpful. price is good for what you get.

Review 20:For a couple like us that was looking for some relaxing time it was not really the best option, it was a busy resort full of screaming kids, that's why we didn't stay longer and change resorts for another less busy.

Review 21:Beautiful resort. Great breakfast (room service), didn't try the buffet though Very nice welcoming from the staff. The attention at the front desk was quite good

Review 22:Reception for check in could be more organized. The queue is crazy

Review 23:We had an amazing stay. The hotel is perfectly located on the beach and ocean front. It is a family holiday paradise. We will definitely be back. Our kids were so safe to run free. I could go on and on about this hotel. Food, beach, ocean, 2 bedroom suites, pool fun, beach bar service. Amazing

Review 24:Crowded Closed the busy pool one afternoon to set up for a party Staff at front desk are clueless Tigers in cages they looked very sad

Review 25:The proximity to the mall The beach was good

Review 26:Filled the coffee machine, turned it on and water started pouring on the floor. Found a maid who only mopped the floor didn't replace the coffee machine

Review 27:Comfortable lobby furniture while awaiting to head to the airport. Tagged luggage for storage till I was ready to leave.

Review 28:I didnt have Access to intenet in my room

Review 29:The facilities were great, almost like new, very clean and lots of amenities, a comercial center is very close from the resort

Review 30:When shower in first bathroom by entrance was turned to hot, the spray of water diminished greatly. Bed was too firm. Great kitchen, dishes, pans, but it's the first hotel we've stayed in where they don't furnish dish detergent or paper towels. I even had to ask for a dish towel. The food from room service was awful. It was cold when it arrived. Would not order room service again.

Review 31:Staff very friendly and helpful. Access to ocean beach great and kids felt safe. Cleanliness of place was great. Nice kitchen. Huge lobby with comfortable seating. Food from pool bars was very good.

Review 32:It was too loud. The activity coordinator just yelled into the microphone the whole time.

Review 33:Did not like the food or wine served at restaurants

Review 34:Room was good size

Review 35:Smell bad rooms are small very canjested

Review 36:The Mayapan restaurant changed the menu--we liked the previous menu better.

Review 37:People and food

Review 38:Great place the staff was helpfull and pleasant.

Review 65:Close to everything

Review 66:A bit to expensive for all activities.

Review 67:Room was very good, overall experience was above average.

Review 68:The food is very pricey but other then that it was wonderful

Review 69:The place is beautiful and family oriented :)

Review 70:Presentation people trying to sell time shares.

Review 71:LOVED our beach waiter Ernesto!

Review 72:I didn't like the fact that I was charge additional for a 5 year child that made me get an additional room.

Review 73:I liked the activities that Paradise Village offer people.

Review 74:The discrimination between paying guests and members (time share owners). The pressure to become a member was subtle but steady. Many of their facilities couldn't be used unless you were a member, or at a considerable cost.

Review 75:the property needs some general updating. The adult pool rules need to be actively enforced including loud adults. The push for the time share in deceptive fashion is annoying.

Review 76:they have the best beach area in all of nuevo vallarta

Review 77:Ordered breakfast for 6:30 am the night before, it never came... "Sorry, nobody gave me the order" was the answer when I checked why it was not coming. Result? We left without breakfast!

Review 78:Excellent location, good availability of beach chairs, friendly staff.

Review 79:Lunch and dinner just OK, water not inviting, slow check-in, no entertainment, poor television service (not HD, stretched sideways with no way to adjust), flaky internet

Review 80:Lansdscaping, breakfast, quiet, friendly staff

Review 81:Check in took way too long.. Approximately 20 - 30min. Tigers in suchsmall confined areas is very depressing. :( Should have some back up/ fun activities in case of many consecutive rainy days for guests.New Years dinner - the chicken and fish were not that tasty.

Review 82:Service on the beach for drinks. Food in restaurants was very good.Maids did a great job! Loved the figurative and decorative toweldesigns. :) Appetizers for New Year's Eve dinner were delicious!

Review 83:Without telling us they gave us an apartment at Playa Royal and not on Paradise Village. Playa Royale is a timesharing apartment complex with far less facilities and very very poor internet access.

Review 84:We had an enormous apartment with two bedrooms and a living room with a complete kitchen.

Review 85:Efficiency and friendliness of the staff; cleanliness of grounds and hotel; separation of active and quiet pools/zones; selection and quality of food on buffets.

Review 86:Because I booked with Booking.com I did not get a room in the maintower, but in a side tower which was away from restaurants, etc.

Review 87:Almost everything.

Review 88:The housekeeping bothered me at 4:00pm when I wanted to rest beforeevening plans

Review 89:Just the right amount of activity & quiet time Location perfect forother trips

Review 90:- When it came to check out and settle the bill, we ended up being over billed and had we not been diligent and brought this up- we would have overcharged.- Being surrounded by a culture of CONSTANT peddling. Everybody wants to sell something. - It was a challenge to interact with the local community.

Review 91:We loved the cleanliness and high standards of maintainance ofParadise Village.

Review 92:Kind of far from nightlife but a great place to relax. Taxi is 200to 300 pesos to the clubs in puerto vallarta depending what cabdriver you get.

Review 93:The beach was beautiful the staff very friendly. The spa was awesome.

Review 94:we were there 2 years ago and noticed that the room was showing some wear as well as musty smelling.
