Review 1：Spa bath shower was a tad difficult. Other room seemed to have adequate facilities though.
Review 2：Accommodating hostess. Parking. Just outside old city walls with easy access. Means less hassels.
Review 3：Frances was a kind, gracious host and brought delicious breakfast fixings! We appreciated having the kitchen to cook a few meals. The house itself has been lovingly restored, with ornate high ceilings and original woodwork throughout.

Review 5：Sulmona is well worth a visit and a good base to visit surrounding towns and National Parks. This hotel is located very close to the historic centre which is very convenient. The rooms are private ans spacious.
Review 6：The following are not negative points just observations. The hot water in the shower took about 30 seconds to warm up and the water pressure was medium. They are cash only, but there are are plenty of ATM's in town.
Review 7：The B&B is in a lovely well kept, newly renovated and tastefully decorated Italian building. The area is quiet. The host family live onsite. Rooms are large, clean and really really nice. Ours would suit a couple well, families ( 3 people or more) should look at the larger option. Bathroom is very new, clean and nice. The bed was nice too, most Italian beds are rock hard but this was more comfortable than most. The B&B is a 5 minute walk to the Piazza Garabaldi ( centre of town). Sulmona is probably our favourite place in Italy and we've been everywhere! The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, and I think you could self cater no problem ( we didn't). Breakfast is bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, jams, fruit, juices, coffee and a few other European/ French biscuit type stuff. We told the B&B we'd be arriving by train and would be walking there. When we left the station they ( the owners) were there! They picked us up Without us asking - a very nice touch! When we left Franca drove us to the station and had coffee - again a nice touch. Franca knows English. Wifi was excellent. Would stay here again anytime. Thank you Franca and family for a wonderful time.

Review 10：Beds were rock hard which was a little tough (kids room had softer beds, though). Shower head needed replacing (Franca did replace it for a handheld shower, but being able to just stand under a shower was missed)
Review 11：If your visiting Abruzzo, Sulmona is the place to stay and B&B Santa Chiara is perfect. Located a stone's throw from the old city and easy access in and out of Sulmona. We got the 2-bedroom which was very large and had a kitchen and bathroom. Franca our host went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. Would definitely come back.

The location is just outside the city walls, so it's easy to walk to town and it's also easy to reach by car. Sulmona is a great base town for seeing the nearby parks & small villages.

Review 33：The Santa Chiara is in an ideal location close to the historic centre of Sulmona. It is a renovated mansion just. Staff were warm, hospitable, and accomodating. Many amenities are within walking distance: groceries, laundry, bicycle rental, banks etc. Parking was ample.

Review 35：The beautiful high ceilings, the well maintained familial house and it's history, the equipped kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, cooking utensils, the view to the mountains, the proximity to the centre of Sulmona (walking distance), free parking,private bathroom, and the helpness of the owners to make our stay extememly comfortable.
