The rooms are lovely, the hot breakfast was comprehensive and delicious (including bacon and eggs) and the water pressure in the shower was powerful. Could not fault the accommodation - more of a boutique hotel than your traditional hostel.

The owners are a married couple that have refurbished an older villa that was once owned by the town physician, and they have done an amazing job, updating it to a modern comfort, while still maintaining many of the classical elements of the house. The beds were comfortable, the entire hostel looked spotless, the owners, whom run it, have put a lot of heart and soul into every detail of this place and it shows. I could not recommend it more! I came here to surf at Peniche, and it was a short car ride away from all the breaks, which was awesome, what I didn't realize when I booked this was Obidos, and several other smaller very interesting towns were near by, which are very worth your while if you enjoy a slower pace for your vacation as I do. Last but probably most important the owners, staff, were excellent and truly seem to enjoy helping you travel, and from my experience treated me as if I were family, and honestly this made my vacation to an already wonderful place, exponentially better.
