Review 1：Slightly outside of the town but this is not a major issue at all.

Review 2：Absolutely fantastic staff. Some of the friendliest I've come across in many hotels around the world. They went out of their way to tell us about Évora and what to visit. Excellent.

Review 3：The room is not has advertised in the pictures in booking. It is quite old and decrepit, does.not have a clean look, the linen is of poor quality and badly placed in bed that had a very used matress. There are quite better options in evora, even when looking at the price or location.

Review 5：Restaurant serving a buffet instead of a la carte on two consecutive nights. The second night was a bit jaded & unappetising. Same desserts trolled out night after night & not refrigerated. The patio had no furniture at all. The jacuzzi & sauna were out of action. This was my second visit, but doubt that I will return.

Review 9：It is late in the season, cloudy with a lot of rain and there were some bad winds which meant a lot leaf debris was blown into the outdoor pool but there was no attempt to clean it making it unusable, possibly because staff thought it would not be used but we would have used it on the brighter days and it did let down the rest of an excellent hotel and stay BUT it would not deter us from booking here again and the rest of the facilities and the indoor pool more than made us enjoy our stay immensely.

Review 11：It is a good hotel however some refurbishment is needed. It takes about 5 minutes by car to get to the historical center. Each room has a balcony with a view to the pool. There is also indoor pool and sauna and steam bath. Wifi is available in each room.

Review 14：No "bad" experience but would have enjoyed chairs on the balcony. The balcony isn't very useful if you can't sit and relax on them. The closure of the kitchen from 3:00 to 7:30 was difficult for us. We prefer to eat one main meal, mid-afternoon.

Piscina optima, de tamanho bastante generoso para uma piscina interior, com cadeiras confortaveis e com bons balnearios. Permaneci no piso 3 que apresentou um quarto limpo e confortavel com boas camas e roupa. Tive direito a roupões, chinelos e toalhas de piscina. Room service bem apresentado. Staff simpatico e qualificado.

Review 32：They have some weird rules. As a guest I went to use the gym but was fairly rudely told I had to return upstairs to reception to get a pass to use the gym. You dont need this for the spa which is in the same place.. seems an extra unmecessary silly step which was an inconveniemce each day!

Review 38：Hotel is quite old and needs repairing. Room balcony doors are kind of broken. in my opinion is not a 4star hotel but yet a higher 3 star. Apart from the pool there is no other place for children to play in the winter time.

Review 40：It's really not a walk to town .You have to drive . There is free parking just outside the walls however . There are no restaurants near the hotel so you are a captive . We ate in the rest. in the hotel and it really wasn't good value compared to neighbourhood restauants in cities like this . A rather swank wine shop on the premises if you are inclined . Large comfortable public ares in the hotel . Good big breakfast with plenty to choose from .

Review 42：We were very disappointed that we couldn't use the indoor pool because of the overwhelming smell of chlorine - they really need some more serious ventilation! Not a great deal of evening meal choice so eating out is a better option, though the set meals were good value.

Review 43：A good base for exploring the Alentejo, a beautiful region. Front desk staff extremely helpful with advice on places to visit. Nice hotel, great outdoor pool, though too chilly to use when we were there (end October), close to the town of Evora, walking distance for the energetic, but otherwise by car, and also a short drive (or long walk) to large supermarkets. Nice comprehensive breakfast buffet, hot and cold. Lovely spacious balcony overlooking the pool and tennis courts. Couldn't get wifi in the room but good strength in public areas. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Review 46：Nice place with friendly staff. Decent breakfast. A bit of a walk from downtown, but we cabbed into the old town in the morning and walked back to the hotel later in the afternoon. If you're doing dinner downtown, reverse the order and walk in. Still a lot shorter than our daily walk or 18 holes at home.

Review 59：The best part of the hotel is their photographer - the photos that appear of the hotel do not match the reality of the current condition of the hotel. This hotel is old and even though the reception is modernised, the rooms are not. This hotel really should not be considered a 4* hotel but more like a 3*. Smelly and dirty carpet. Old pillows that are broken into about 5 pieces making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Bed sheets that don't fit the bed correctly and one fine flat sheet that separates you from the actual mattress - so if you move in your sleep, be prepared to see the mattress in the morning.

Evora Hotel if you are lessening to the voice of your customers you need to fix the WIFI and ensure the system works. My family and I specifically look for Hotels that have wifi which in today’s electronic environment is expected by your customers.

Review 66：Stayed two nights at the Evora Hotel which is located just out of the town walls. The place is clean and beds are quite comfortable. The Hotel has a large free car park and deal at the time included breakfast. My teenagers enjoyed the pool facilities and the parents enjoyed the Mojitos at the bar.

Review 67：The room reeked of cigarette smoke; it was unpleasant and along with the temperamental air conditioning it did not make for comfortable sleeping. In the end we slept with the balcony door wide open. I would recommend this hotel but on the proviso that you insist on a smoke free room.
