The Sunway Hostel is situated 10 minutes’ drive from the Peniche city centre. The hostel has free WiFi, breakfast and is a 10-minute drive from the harbor connecting to Berlengas Island.

Review 3：We had a very lovely stay. Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms and kitchen and a tasty breakfast. We really liked having our own bathroom and enjoyed the tasty BBQ. It's a nice hostel to relax and (learn) to surf. We will come again later this year.

Review 7：The hostel is placed in a nice little village. It only takes you 5-10 minutes to get to the beach by car. The staff is amazing. They do their best (and they do awesome!!) to let you have a great holiday experience. The chillout areas inside and outside are great to relax after a good surfing session. The hostel also offers rental of surfboards, wetsuits and bikes. Make sure not to choose the geekco hostel in peniche! !

Review 8：Very relaxed and friendly athmosphere. Not too many guests before easter, so there was always a quiet place to relax to be found: roof terrace, courtyard, in the living room on the huge comfy couch. Very friendly and accommodating owners/staff, we often cooked together and hung out in the evenings, but breakfast was always on time and plentyful :D I am definitely coming back here! A++

Review 9：It would've perfect if the hostel were located a little closer to the beach. But I guess it's not that easy to transfer the building to another location :D The hostel does have a beach vibe hough.

Review 12：The staff is friendly and easy to spend time with, tha building is really nice and everything went like a charm. I loved the fully-equiped kitchen where you can easily cook whatever you want. And my special crush on the awesome surfgears storage where they did everything simple but efficient and even have a shaping stand to look or repair or clean your boards. Every surfer will love it, absolutely.

Review 14：Close to the surf. Normally surf hostel is packed with teenagers. Here you find very mixed group of people. Lots of fun but also nice calm atmosphere. Very helpful, friendly staff, especially the very hospitable owner Ivan! Great breakfast with warm bread straight from the town's best bakery.

Review 15：Make sure you book the GeekCo hostel in Atouguia, and NOT the one in Peniche.

Review 16：This hostel is great, with amazing outdoor terrace area, huge tv room, and tasty breakfasts in the dining room every morning. It is extremely well equipped (wifi, kitchen, surfboards, wetsuits, bikes) with everything I could have needed for my stay. Big clean en-suite double bedroom (with daily cleaning if required) was a luxury I did not expect to find on a surf trip. Location is perfect being equal distance from the best surf breaks (Supertubos and Molho Leste on one side, and Baleal's beaches on the other), also it is located in a small rural town which is far nicer than being stuck in the city of Peniche. Finally, Hannes and Ivan the owners are great guys, fluent in many languages between them, extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure you'll have the best time visiting their part of Portugal.

We felt like home since the first step inside. Marvellous breakfasts & great barbecues, lots of amusements in the evening with the xbox or just chillin under the stars in the beautiful terrace.
